Awesome Rust video, I just helped my friend upgrade to 5800x3d from 3700x on b450 mATX. Which was a previous upgrade from OG Ryzen 1600 ae using b320. AM4 has been really good to me and my friends. 8086k was the last i7 that I truly enjoyed.
I have a 5800x & 5950x but had to grab a couple 5800x 3d myself to play Rust. ONLY $299 @ amazon 4.4.2023 but back up to $345 now in USA after reviews for 7800x 3D released.
Will grab an AM-5 motherboard in 2024 after I upgrade my monitor. Disappointing DDR5 performance has me waiting on sidelines. That and the crap prices for MoBo with decent features like on button & 2 digit display. Need an alla carte way to add features for b650 & x670e motherboards to lower costs.

I dont understand,I have a 13700k, a 4090 and 32gb of 6000Mhz DDR5 yet I'm only averaging 140FPS at 1440p medium. The 13700k is better than the 5800x3D in basically every other benchmark I've seen. What the hell

Rust for whatever reason seems to love the extra L3 cache the 5800x3d has. The 13700k only has 30mb of L3 cache compared to the 96mb the 5800x3d has. The game is heavily cpu bound so your 4090 doesn’t do much for you as far as performance goes in 1080p and 1440p. The 7950x3d and 7900x3d that are coming out are gonna be insane for rust performance!

The first prototype they showed was a 5900 with 192mb vcache and it had even bigger gains then the 5800x3d

I have RTX 3060 and i am getting the RYZEN 7 5800x. Will i have like 150FPS? Cause rn i have 7 2700 3.2GHZ and im getting only 80FPS :/
I Switch from 2700x to 5600 and i almost double my fps in every Game. Its Crazy how Bad the ryzen 2000 are.
@@grunertee7923 agreed, if you want a cheap budget the best options would be a ryzen 3 3100 or a ryzen 5 3600/5600. but the 2600x/g and r7 2600 are horrible for some reason
