Achtung Baby is having a renaissance of sorts in my music diet lately. The entire album is brilliant beyond words and this is one of the most enjoyable moments on an album full of highlights. I can’t wait to see them live later this year.

How can this be almost 30 years old and still so fresh and unique. The genius that is Achtung Baby only increases through the passage of time. It’s a perfect album and this song is the jewel in the crown
the fact that since 2000 music has sucked makes these older songs timeless and deservedly so.

One of the best songs ever. Probably U2's most underrated song. It's so incredible. You should hear it everywhere: the grocery store, adult contemporary radio, everywhere. But maybe it would be less special when you did hear it.
Kind of like Red Hill Mining Town. When you hear these on a radio station it is a great and rare surprise. Awesome vocals with real passion that you can experience.

U2 is one of the last true stadium bands around. They actually come across well in large arenas. Bono has that gift of connection. No matter how far up in the peanut gallery that you are, he can touch and reach you. I had the experience twice during two of their tours, and I'll never forget either.
Yeah in one of those concerts here in LA (at the holywood bowl i think) he literally said in his opening..."this is my church!!" as we all screamed

Except for the “One” bar video, this is the only video that comes close to showing how handsome Bono was in 1992-3. I met him and he looked just like this - he was stunning with the black hair and blue eyes. Has the greatest build too - still does.

I feel God every time I see these guys live. This is the album which answers Sgt. Pepper's. I love this version of this song. They defined modern day rock concerts with this tour.
I was 18 when “Achtung Baby!” came out. Listening to the songs all these years later with my life experience behind me is an amazing experience. They suddenly make more sense.
