- Hi guys! Today I swapped the back tabs of my taupe haze 4s. I was able to get custom backtabs by Jaysocologist off instagram (smooth and easy transaction, just a long turnaround time).
It was my first time swapping back tabs off a shoe, so I definitely made some mistakes! But other than that, I'm definitely open for feedback and tips if I ever do it again. It was a fun process overall! Definitely makes me want to back tab swap more shoes in the future.

Great job, man. I'm brand new to modding and have a question: would I be able to swap cloth back tabs and wing tabs of a pair of Jordan 4s with the plastic ones, or are they just not compatible?

Doing this now on 2006 Military Blues. How were you able to tilick the tabs into the seams on the bottom and sides? I have no clearance to get the excess under the leather. Wrapping in laces was interesting. Your version looks so much better. Do they stay because they are glued and not stitched at the top?

The tabs make the shoe look 10 times better. The only thing I noticed about the nike air tabs was the tabs appeared to be a bit bigger or longer in length making the pull tab part of the heel tab extend a little higher than the collar of the shoe. I could be wrong though. If only Nike/JB would just make this particular 4 the right way! Even an infrared jumpman would've given these 4's a boost! Great vid though 👌

Bro, you just glued? no stitching needed?
The barge cement glue works perfectly fine! It's the go to glue that lots of restorers use when they deal with sole separation as well.

Definitely learn an easier way to remove the original back tab forsure. Other than that it was a great first experience!
@@charlesmolinajr if you use a heat gun its easier to remove the Heel ta/ of the shoes
