Great video... one of the best strategy Tricap guides I have seen. The only thing I would like to add for players just discovering this video is that strategies do change and that some things are done differently nowadays such as Trinity always amps the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Teralyst shield. With every update comes some new change... sometimes major ones like the Itzal Blink nerf and 5x3 and 6x3 crews using a 2nd Volt with high strength to dps but mainly to use his 2nd ability to pull the 1st loot lure. Or like the fact that Corrosive Projection was recently lowered from 30 percent to 18 so having 4 equipped now no longer completely strips the armor. So to anyone interested in learning how to run high cap runs... find knowledgeable players who are willing and eager to teach, and listen to all the different viewpoints to determine which are the most viable... because you can learn some very interesting things from very thoughtful players who have tested and experimented with many unique ideas and strategies.
Fantastic guide! Really helped clear up a lot of things for me. Things I learned: * Exactly what "quick charge" means as both an action, but also as a role for Chroma / host * Trinity handing off a couple additional lures so the team can start capturing Terry and begin on Gary * How Chroma's elemental damage scales differently from physical * The ideal mod setup to maximize the armor decrease without losing radiation damage's benefits * Loc-pinning & pre-shielding key spots for lake spawns * Which nodes are priority in the operator focus tree (for both DPS and shield breakers) ...and so much more. I can't wait to share this with my clanmates to try and get us to 5x3 per night. Thanks for this guide!
Wow! This is absolutely, by far, the best video on Eidolon Hunting for all levels! Thank you for the wealth of information delivered in such a short and sweet package, you're a total pro! ... I started as an Eidolon Hunting noob, then after building up carried pubs, and now I'm ready to pick up the pace in a '5x3' team. I've yet to find a guide to fill in all the voids from what lacked in other videos and obtaining tips in the hunt can be difficult. Before diving into some of the written guides I decided to do a search for "advanced eidolon guide" and found this amazing video. Thanks! Liked & Subscribed! ;)
I have about 450 hydro caps here so I guess I can give some advice regarding choice of weapon. I play mainly chroma only sometimes volt, trin or harrow, I do 5x3 consistently. The Rubico Prime is imho the best weapon to use if you are playing chroma riven or not it is better than lanka in everyway, make sure your team has 3xcorrosive projection + 2xcoaction drift, put forma into your chroma for 300+percent power strength, build rubico with primed cyro rounds and vile acceleration, and build combo counter like there is not tomorrow, spam wisps and shoot and bring carrier prime because you will run out of ammo.
@@nicenitx6343 Nobody can fault you for giving advice on how to be more efficient! Although why carrier? Can't you just bring ammo pads? I have all mine bound to hotkeys for the eidolons.
@@NebuluxEN You can XD but at one point I ran out of nano spores, so that I don't need to craft a lot of ammo pads, thats why I had carrier in my loadout. Btw video was great but could be a little more structured, although I understand being too structured might lead to a very long video.
7:08 Pretty sure you can't ground dash to proc shadow anymore (same for Vazarin, can't ground dash anymore). It has been "fixed" because of the abuse of magus revert. You have instead to perform a horizontal dash for that (your operator has to travel from a point A to a point B) like you did at 7:18.
not true. ground dash still procs it however you have to move a minimum of 2m to replenish energy. before it always replenished energy. so if you try to ground dash the old way you lose all your energy in .5s

I've seen a lot of videos in recent years, but I have not seen one. You have very well explained and worked it out. Just great. Keep going. Good luck.

Also Im not trying to sound like an elitist however you spell it. I want to help as this fight is my all time favorite content of the game

This explains so much, lol. This whole time I just thought I was a no-skill noob for not being able to proc it. Ty for clearing that up!
