LLegendary Rank 2 player here, been playing the game on and off since beta. Can tell all new players that this video is the simplest and most comprehensive video on beginner modding I’ve seen in all these years. Just sent this to all my new player buddies.
@@MHBlacky_ENG gonna be Frank, I look up guides even after 7 years of playing because warframe has, simply put, the most complicated modding system of any game I’ve ever played. 3k hours on the steam since nova release (normal not prime) yep this modding tutorial is simple, yet covers everything you need to know all the way up to high lvl content. The only tip i can give over what is covered in the videos is "slow" as defensive stat. Nova "4" Sevagoth "Gloom" or Cold element "proc" Slows in this game increase time AI takes to AIM and their fire rate! so even if your HP and armor value is low enemy firing ~70% less bullets is way less dangerous than enemy firing at normal speed with you having increased HP or armor values from mods! Thanks for the clarity and organization of your presentation ... finally an explanation that doesn't jump all over the place. You have a new subscriber.
Aaaaw thank you so much for this awesome feedback, FishBird ❤️ I'm really happy to hear you liked the explanation. Because this beginner friendliness is exactly what I was aiming for with this video :D

Also Not to mention the Importance of CODEX and the UNIVERSE TAB. you want to find most mods, codex is your half friend (wiki is the full friend). after helios scans of most enemies you can make an educated guess to where you should look for specific mods.
One little thing potentially worth mentioning is that some mods don't show stat increases on the side when fuzing. However hovering over the floating mod will show it's exact description at that level, including stat increases. I remember a few mods i held back on upgrading because it didn't show any stats increasing on the side, so i thought it literally just increased energy cost.
Regarding weapon modding: most Action-RPGs may have implanted the idea that status effects are useless, at least when I started I thought that. Status effects/procs in Warframe are pretty much obligatory to do decent damage, thats whats a bit special compared to other games. Regarding Warframe modding: focus on one or two abilities! I see many builds that don't work properly because they try to implement all abilities. There are at best a handful of frames that can utilize all 4 abilities to their fullest, so focus on the abilities that are actually worth it.
I can't really say anything about other RPGs but in Warframe you are absolutely right. No status, no high level kills ^^ Witz the Warframes I agree aswell. That's wy I recommended looking up build guides to get sn idea ;)

I almost never leave comments on guides but sir this video is great! I've been playing WF on and off for almost 5 years but never really took the time to learn the mechanics of it because the other guides were long and gruesome. Thanks a lot!!
I think showing Speedva vs Slowva builds for Nova would have worked well. It is usually how I teach people how modding a Warframe works. You can't have it all. Min/Max the abilities you like best on your warframe. Wiki for each warframe shows what true min/max for any ability is and what mods are required for it.
@@MHBlacky_ENG Been playing since a long time ago. Not a beta release player but my first event was Tempo Royale stance release. Wiki says that was U15.16 in February 2015. Was also when arcwing was still brand new. Mostly stopped playing during PoE release but I come back for new story missions. Old Void Keys and doing 1 hour Survival, Defense or Intercept was my jam. That is gone now with how relics work.

Aaaw thank you for the amazing compliment, my friend ❤️ I'm really happy you found it helpful! My goal is to always make things as understandable as possible. Sure people criticize me for generalizing stuff and not mentioning the 10% exceptions but if that's the cost to make the other 90% understandable then I'm definitely gonna do that :D
@@MHBlacky_ENG agree, i understand your point, yes games like warframe or division 2 which is so close to that playstyle, it's difficult even now for me to understand some so many basic steps (of course i mean about "critical" chance, one, another and goes on), suddenly we focused on what "good on our eyes"..
Just wanted to drop a huge thanks for all the content on Warframe, I just got back into playing and found everything very intimidating. Great details and information, straight to the point and when you reference another "deep" topic you have a more detailed video on that content.
The whole modding system actually turned me off when I picked up this game with friends in 2014. When I did my first few missions and got my mods, I went to the mod menu and thought that this game was some Dungeons and Dragons hybrid type shit. Didn't touch it for a long time until Tethera's Doom (still didn't finish that event and I'm salty). I'm binging your videos, apologies for all the comments. You do a lot better at explaining things than most Warframe Tutorial channels.
as person who has only been playing for 2 days, but already has 40 hours in the game, this is very usefull. I have kinda hit a roadblock where I have progressed so far, that the timelocked stuff that I need I still don't have.
@MHBlacky oh didn't mean it in a bad way. I used to use him a ton but had to move on to stronger picks. I miss the spooky boy, just wish they'd do something for him.
I do quite like how you went through everything simply, however I recommend if you go with weapons you should always mention diminishing returns. Even just point out another persons video or recommend asking others about how it works so people know it is important. Too many people use multiple +damage mods or elements which loses them a lot of power. Simply knowing of the rule can let someone make near meta builds without any prior knowledge on modding that weapon.
That is a very good point, CollateralKaos! For the target audience of this specific video maybe a bit too far down the line but I have s Steel Path damage guide planned out and I'll make sure to mention this ^^
TFW this video is a better tutorial than the one in the game I wish I had this video when I was a new player! Sure there are bits that would leave me scratching my head but this is infinitely better than trying to learn the system on my own
@@MHBlacky_ENG Thanks man, I'm returning from a 5-6 year hiatus. It's extra disorienting because I started on PC, started over on PS4 and passed that account, now I'm back on PC and I can't remember what was where, lol.
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback ❤️ Really happy you found it that helpful ^^ Indeed, the modding system is probably the biggest obstacle to any new player so I was hoping to be able to clarify things as good as possible with this one 😉

Loving your videos. I havent played since just before nightwave released, so I forgot fuck near everything. I've tried to get back into warframe about every year since then, but I've always been too lost to know wtf to do and fell off again. A friend of mine I used to plah with showed me your channel, and it's super helpful. Thanks!
This game is so overwhelming. Been playing a week or so and can’t believe how many different items there are just for crafting. And it seems like there is so much in game content that never gets explained in game. Without RUclips I’d be even more lost lol.
I know what you mean. The most important thing is to not think about the mass of content all the time and to simply focus on the next goal. Then if there is anything you need to know for that, look it up, do it and then set the next goal. This way you get to know all the mechanics step by step at exactly the time you need them ;)

I’ve played warframe for a very long time but never understood the mod system thank you for explaining it for a not so smart brain like mine.
Been playing warframe for years! Your content is super helpful for new players and come cross play I intend to go to your vids to help teach em how to play!
Wow, thank you so much for the amazing compliment and your support! Really means a lot
I almost never leave comments on guides but sir this video is great! I've been playing WF on and off for almost 5 years but never really took the time to learn the mechanics of it because the other guides were long and gruesome. Thanks a lot!!
In this case I feel all the more honored to receive one of your rare comments
I think showing Speedva vs Slowva builds for Nova would have worked well. It is usually how I teach people how modding a Warframe works.
You can't have it all. Min/Max the abilities you like best on your warframe.
Wiki for each warframe shows what true min/max for any ability is and what mods are required for it.
Nova is a really good idea. In case this channel ever makes serious money, I should hire you as an advisor :D
@@level12lobster8 Yes, you definitely have quite the service time :D
I started with a different account in beta and then in 2013 with this here but until 2019 I was mostly inactive.
This is amazing! Thank u! I will be watching this video over and over again! 🎉
1 year later and this video still saving me, warframe is a really cool game now that i know what im doing 😅
This is the best explanation I’ve come across of the modding system, helped me enormously. Thanks. 👍👍
I love your videos man! I just got into this game heavily again the past ~2 weeks. Can’t wait for more of the translations of your German videos!!
Aaaw thank you so much for the compliment, Nonny's Moose
Just started playing warframe and must say this was the best explanation ive seen on mods. Ty so much and i subbed
If it wasn’t for RUclips tutorials and the Warframe wiki, I doubt I’d be able to play this game. I am MR 5 ATM and finally getting over the learning curve. 🤙
Amazing to hear that :D You're gonna get there, believe me 😉
Whenever someone goes to the Wiki by themselves that's a clear sign, they're gonna make it big in this game ^^
@@MHBlacky_ENG and putting off sleep is another sign lol. I totally hooked right now 😆
Dude, this is great. You covered everything I initially stuggled with when I started out, and had to figure out on my own. I would have killed to have this guide back then, and probably would have spent far less time trying to get past the level 30 enemies lol
Thank you for the nice feedback ❤️
Really happy you found it so helpful ^^
Hope it can also help all the new people starting out with Whispers in the Wall ^^
AMAZING tutorial man. simple, easy to follow and straight to the point, got exemples for everything too!
Dude, your videos are like official Warframe Bootcamp. This is the 3rd one i'm watching this hour. #yourock
Aaaw thank you so much for your encouraging feedback and the huge compliment! ❤️ I'm super glad that my guides could help you and that you enjoyed them so much ^^
Happy to have you here ;)
This video is an unbelievable resource, I feel like I haven't truly understood the game until now can't wait to fix my build.
Aaaaaw thank you so much for the lovely compliment, my friend! I'm really happy to hear that it was so helpful to you ❤️
This just makes sense. What a well made and well thought and well explained video.
Your video helped me a ton! Before, I used up 60 of my mod capacity on the soma and I still did little damage (I put all my mods into crit chance and didnt increase base dmg or add any status effects), now I delete enemies in 1 sec.
This video helped immensely for my comeback to the game! Appreciate your content so much!
Really glad I could help :D Wish you a great time with your comeback and thank you a lot for your kind words ❤️
Thanks man, im hard stuck at saturnus after 5 days of playing and this helped me A LOOOT. :D
Dude i really really love your videos, this is like my 2nd day on your channel and i have 4k hours in the game and this video is not for me, yet i really find myself enjoying your videos so much,
Dont know if its your voice or what just, great job man
Man I cannot thank you enough for your compliment
Damn, you're making me want to play this game again, I quitted a long time ago cuz I honestly felt so weak and lost.. but now after watching your videos and guides, I might give it a try again, Thanks!
Thank you for the lovely compliment ❤️
Sure, you can always think about returning. It's never too late. Just play whatever's fun for you 😉
You made this game SO MUCH EASIER TO UNDERSTAND! I cant stress this enough and thanks so much! NEW SUB WOHOOOOO
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback and welcome to the crew!
Would love a guide about factions, loving your work!
Thank you for your lovely support, Aelfheah
You’ve earned a subscription this is amazing I just started last week and this is a way better explanation than what my friends say
Glad I could help! Thank you for the nice feedback and welcome to the crew :D
LR3 player, played since beta, and im still here! while warframe updates aren't exactly common, there's new mods added with most updates, so im constantly updating builds. i need a little help here n there. thank you for this video, and ill definitely be coming back for more!
Aaaw thank you for your kind words, sadedits, especially coming from a LR3
needed this 😮💨returning player ive played for so many years and came back to a open world
Happy I could help ^^ You're right. If you've been inactive for a while it's easy to feel lost when returning... Wish you much success on your journey ;)
You didn't tell me anything new after 1400 hours but it's a really good video!
Thank you, man!
If after 1400h you had actually learned something new from thus I'd honestly be surprised xD
Thank you for your nice feedback, bro! ❤️
Very informative thank you, as someone who's already been playing for years but trying to get more into it I still learned a lot.
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment!
Legendary 1 rank player since release on ps4 (now ps5) this is a great break down of modding up to date with the current meta/standard in warframe I'll be putting this in my clans "ancient library" aka RUclips videos on a wall near the entrance😅
Thanks for this video, I now feel better prepared to face the challenges.
Gosh I stared playing back in 2015 and now I'm coming back to it after years. Only rank 8 but I think it's finally time I learn how to play this game XD
Hahaha, it's never too late :D
I'm sure you'll get there ;)
I literally subbed because you make the transition noise with your mouth and it’s hilarious
So helpful thanks! I suck at warframe and am completely clueless at these things, so thanks for these kinds of videos
Aaaw thank you for the nice feedback ❤️ Glad you liked it and I'm sure you'll get better and better over time 😉
loving the content, keep it up!
Thank you for the lovely compliment, NewbE
Hey thx man! I just started getting into 30+ level enemies and I saw someone fighting a level 200 today. Kinda worried me. Thanks for the help!
Started playing warframe a month ago, needed this video. Thank you!🙏❤️ also I like how you use mods everyone can aquire and not riven
Thank you for your support!
I already know most of the stuff in this vid, thx you so much for this very informative vid, you deserve more attention
Wow thank you so much for the big compliment!
(most channels just promote themselves and you don't understand absolutely anything of what they show or do.) oh man even i have over 1500 hours at warframe, still learning, still watching videos and yes, damn yes... you are so good to explain and i learned things, even i saw them so many times. thanks mate.
You've earned yourself a sub mate, really clear video for a new player like myself!
Then welcome to the community my friend! :D Glad I could help and thank you so much for your awesome feedback
I've been playing about a month and have been modding, but this a great tutorial. Thanks
Thank you Etare for the kind feedback!
40h in 2 days? o.O
You... you need sleep, Sir xD
@@MHBlacky_ENG the wonders of caffeine
Thanks. I just started this and you make more sense than other vids I've seen
Glad you liked it :D Always happy to help ;)
Saw your Inaros and spiraled into giving him a rework in my head for 20 minutes.
Not really the point of the video but by now I've gotten so many comments on using Inaros that I kinda keep doing it just to tilt people xD
@MHBlacky oh didn't mean it in a bad way. I used to use him a ton but had to move on to stronger picks.
I miss the spooky boy, just wish they'd do something for him.
Impressed with the quality of information provided here. You earned a sub!!! Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely compliment
This is so well explained, I'm so happy I found this video!
Aaaaw happy to hear you found it helpful ^^
Thank you for the lovely compliment and much success with the modding ❤️
Wow! This video answered so many questions I had about modding!!
This video helped a lot I just got umbra Excalibur and I’m like Mr 9 and I still felt very weak
THIS ^^^^^^
That is a very good point, CollateralKaos! For the target audience of this specific video maybe a bit too far down the line but I have s Steel Path damage guide planned out and I'll make sure to mention this ^^
Very nice beginner guide :) Not a lot around that is in depth like yours. Looking forward to future videos :)
Thank you for your kind feedback!
TFW this video is a better tutorial than the one in the game
I wish I had this video when I was a new player! Sure there are bits that would leave me scratching my head but this is infinitely better than trying to learn the system on my own
Glad you feel this way. That was what I was trying to achieve :D
Good video man, I’ve tried explaining modding to my boys for years now but it ain’t easy 🤣 this helped massively big ups subbed
Welcome to the crew then, Brendan
@@MHBlacky_ENG should do another vid on riven mods if you haven’t bro! Just one more thing I don’t have to ADHD stress at the boys about 🤣🙏🏼
Comprehension put the wazhoo.
Subscribed. Thanks man.
Welcome to the crew then! :D
Gld you liked it ^^
@@MHBlacky_ENG Thanks man, I'm returning from a 5-6 year hiatus. It's extra disorienting because I started on PC, started over on PS4 and passed that account, now I'm back on PC and I can't remember what was where, lol.
wow. thank you so much. this is extremely well explained and simple enough for new players to follow
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback ❤️
Really happy you found it that helpful ^^
Indeed, the modding system is probably the biggest obstacle to any new player so I was hoping to be able to clarify things as good as possible with this one 😉
Just started warframe and this helps a tone
Thanks for the tutorial, helped tons. Keep up the work!!! 👍
Thank you a lot for your awesome feedback, Rodrigo! Glad I could help
I'm playing for about 2 and Half years, But just today I understand how that Status(puncture, impact, slash) affects my Damage 😆 As I always focusing on Crit chance and Damage.
Glad I could help with that ^^
I think in the long run a mix of both crit and status is often the best choice ;)
Just got a friend in to the game. Linked him this video and it helped alot.
Aaaw glad I could help :D
Thank you for recommending my stuff
Oh man I am so glad I found this channel. Got yorself a new sub without question. Thank you my dude :)
Thanks!
Wow, thank you for the awesome feedback
early!!! loving the video keep up the good content
Hi JayJay, thank you a lot for the support! Means a lot :D
