Another thing that would be interesting to see would be either a Aspect actually coming down from Targon to help Demacia (Kayle for example) or if Noxus would hear of the news and bring forces to the gates of Demacia in a attempt to siege it while Demacia was fighting Sylas. The next comic can be so amazing!

I think the person guarding lux was garen. Lux said "tell mom" not "tell my mom" so that already makes it kind of obvious, when word came out about problems at the execution, garen said "my sister is there" so he knew lux left. Case closed.

Not sure if Garen is aware of this, but Sylas did say Crownguards are full of surprises. Perhaps Garen does have some mild magical traits as his sister

His natural Magic as a Mageborn synchronizes well with the Magic Absorbing properties of the Petricite Shackles because he can use his Shackles to amplify his own Magic. That is the reason why Demacia considers him as the most Dangerous Mage because of his Magic Absorbing ability and it is also the reason why Demacia used their A game in terms of imprisoning Sylas, as you know, Sylas Shackles was not created to be use on a human, it was originally created to suppress and imprison powerful Demons such as Nocturne,Evelynn and Tahm Kench so the fact that they used it on a human means that Sylas Is a Demon threat level.

I think the "You crownguards are full of surprises" is the fact that both Lux and Garen have magic within them, and only Lux's magic has manifested. This is quite possibly because Garen's own sword saps his magic and his role as a knight has unwittingly kept him from ever realising his own latent abilities.

If that's the case why when Garen used his Desicive Strike (Q) on Sylas, magic power COMES OUT of the blade and blade doesn't just consume Sylas powers. And another question what if we say, take very weak mage and incase him in armor that consume his magic powers inside him constantly and he can control it. May be that mage could heal instictivly heal his wounds, or make damage impact him less, or even summon giant sword from heavens, or even make him not vomit when he spins alot. This comic definitely had great potential, it's good but could have been way better with such a setting; It seems plain and simplified in my opinion :( They put at least twice more work (/money) into Ashe's comic if you compare the plot development, character drama and art work. You could feel the vibe of Freljord and northern Viking tales through it; and with lux comic the Demacian vibe of Pomposity, great buildings, High-class life authority and the social gap, which itself a reason for all this to start is near zero so far. Maybe we will see it later? :( Again, I'm not saying lux comic is bad. Just not as good as could be. Probably its just me who originally misunderstood Riot's intentions and they just wanted a fast-paced action story for fans only, rather than anything serious (which they doing ok).

I love this expanding lore about Petricite. I'm amazed with the fact that Demacia Palace gone from a place where no mage can thrive, to pretty much a magical nuclear bomb ready for someone to just pull the trigger.

I'm just waiting for the moment when Sylas finds the petricite trees were Ryze hid the worldrunes under. If the trees don't work in a different way he should definitely be able to sense the magic that's being absorbed from the runes.

Riot say that champions in game works almost the same as thoses on Runeterra.
If that's the case why when Garen used his Desicive Strike (Q) on Sylas, magic power COMES OUT of the blade and blade doesn't just consume Sylas powers.
And another question what if we say, take very weak mage and incase him in armor that consume his magic powers inside him constantly and he can control it.
May be that mage could heal instictivly heal his wounds, or make damage impact him less, or even summon giant sword from heavens, or even make him not vomit when he spins alot.
As Sylas said "you'll never know the whole truth"

This comic definitely had great potential, it's good but could have been way better with such a setting; It seems plain and simplified in my opinion :( They put at least twice more work (/money) into Ashe's comic if you compare the plot development, character drama and art work. You could feel the vibe of Freljord and northern Viking tales through it; and with lux comic the Demacian vibe of Pomposity, great buildings, High-class life authority and the social gap, which itself a reason for all this to start is near zero so far. Maybe we will see it later? :( Again, I'm not saying lux comic is bad. Just not as good as could be. Probably its just me who originally misunderstood Riot's intentions and they just wanted a fast-paced action story for fans only, rather than anything serious (which they doing ok).

honestly...... Sylas is basically in the right about Demacia's witch hunt and racism towards mages with the irony that all of Demacia's walls and their armour and weaponry are all filled with magic

@@junaidfaisal9414 Them being present at justice being done(from their viewpoint) does not make them evil or anything. It's simply his hatred that makes him kill everyone that is not a mage. And that does continue in his short story. Its just him killing and killing with no plan or anything in his head. And probably that will be his downfall.

I love this expanding lore about Petricite.
I'm amazed with the fact that Demacia Palace gone from a place where no mage can thrive, to pretty much a magical nuclear bomb ready for someone to just pull the trigger.

So true... that could be interesting. Garen was very angry for the fact Taric wasn't doing his duty as a Demacian, and this could actually be a part for both stories. Garen realises that Taric actually becomes the ultimate guardian.
