- This Quick Reference Guide will provide a clear definition and step by step details on how to turn on and off the Lane Tracing Assist System.
The TSS Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) System is designed to work when the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA) are both on and active. LTA is designed to keep the vehicle centered in its visibly marked lane and preemptively avoid unintended lane departures. LTA is designed for use on relatively straight highways.
LTA uses a forward-facing camera to monitor lane markings - as well as the path of the vehicle ahead, if needed - and is designed to automatically make constant steering inputs to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane. LTA does require the driver’s hands to remain on the steering wheel.
LTA is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness is dependent on many factors including road, weather and vehicle conditions. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
Although demonstrated on the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, this feature is available on various other Toyota models. See owner’s manual for model specific guidelines and limitations.

I rented a RAV4 and can’t stand all the warnings and alerts. I needed to figure out how to turn these off , so thank you !
I needed to disable all technology that nags me in this car, so this was a lifesaver! This information really needs to be in your manual, though. It should be easy to find, pretty self explanatory. Thank you for this video!

If you need this feature, you shouldn't be driving. I hope Toyota has a way to disable this feature on my 2023 Camry.
There's no way in history I'm driving this car with all this beeping. I would rather trade it in for a Honda Accord.
I turn this feature off multiple times a day. It turns back on every time I start my vehicle! I’m extremely frustrated.

INFURIATINGLY complicated! I will only buy base model trims because the fancy trims require a college degree in electronics to operate. Also, INFURIATINGLY tiny and hard to see icons.
My Corolla is turn off all the time,which is good. Yesterday my friends buy Yaris and know we are trying to figure how to turn it off. We f8nd it,but when the car is shut down and start again this assistance is again turn on. Can we do it to be all the time turn off?

Same for me, on my 2019 Corolla Hybrid when it's off it stays off, and that's good because is useful only on some rare situations like regular traffic flow on the Autobahn, and NEVER in the city or high traffic situations. Unfortunatley on the brand new Aygo X of my girlfriend, this annoying and dangerous feature is turned on every time the engine is started.

Does 2021 Avalon Hybrid Limited have LTA?
I have the 2024 model and it says I've turned it off yet it STILL comes on. 😩 Nightmare. Beepbeepbeep. 🤷♀️

Oh, sheeesh. Sooo much easier on a Tesla. Flick the right lever down twice, and boom, you're in Autopilot which keeps you in the dead center of the lane! 👌👍
It never worked very well in my Tesla in my experience. That said, I can't even get it to turn on in my Toyota so I guess they both suck. heh

In my country there is no LTA in toyota
notice that LTA/LDA only works when road lane is painted. Maybe your country does not have much painted lanes, so theres no point of it? lol
