Theses exercises are perfect. Some of them I do as I’m working in the house. See a wall? Do some push-ups. One of your exercises which helps a lot is the “W” stretch. Can do that while walking through house. I’m 93, take care of myself, walk without a cane but use one -- just in case! L O V E. Bob and Brad.

How inspiring - think W, like Wonderful Lady!
You are amazing! Keep up the great work!
Amazing you are👍🏻
YOU are AMAZING A QUEEN AND TRULY INSPIRING Kathryn Stalder !!!
I’ve spent the last couple of months with my ailing mother sitting stressed in chairs and not looking after my self. Now poor Mum is gone and I’m stiff as a board. Thanks for these I need to get moving!
Hi beautiful
Dear missjenny1953!
Condoling! It's hard! I think like this: exercising while mourning is a true way to show respect for those loved ones who have left us behind.
My mom, the former "ice princess", would love to know that we who still live, keep as fit as possible and enjoy it.
So now let's stay ones-caring, and take care of ourselves. Take care, Lady Jen!
Bob and Brad I am 72 and having a lot of trouble getting around. Thanks to you guys I’m doing the exercises you have given today. I have had to go to therapy 3 times in the last 2 years due to a car accident which before the accident I walked 3 or 4 times a week. Thank you for your help
you guys have great chemistry together! i watch this so i can do these exercises with my grandparents. thanks so much!
I watched this with my almost 91 year old dad. He said he does some of these! Great video.
Thank you. I'm 64 and realizing that I am so out of shape staying home avoiding the Covid. I just started squatts and push ups again. My form was off. You guys are so fun. Thanks! Sincerly, Dennis's wife Kathy
Me, too!
@@suew4609 Mom is 66 and Diabetes is kicking in. Will these exercises help?
@@_trust9994 I don't know, but they can't hurt!
You just address yourself as your husband's wife?
@@_trust9994 these exercises are great for stability and for nerves flexibility which can prevent injuries and body pains but she can also reduce sugar spike with these exercises and I highly recommend making her walk after each meal for 5-10mins and also taking morning sunlight for vitamin D will help greatly with insulin resistance.
And for diet she should do frequent small meals instead of only 3 large ones and make sure her main meals start with a salad then a protein source. Do let me know if you need more ideas for the diet. I’m a dietetics student I will try to help as much as I can.
Thank you for additional 5 exercises to the one who has hit the age 80 by the grace of God not forgetting to do my daily 4 to 5 kilometers walk.
OMG -- I'm 59 and have torn meniscus and mild arthritis in both knees, and a couple of bulging lumbar discs with stenosis. The VA sent me to physical therapy and I was given the exercises demonstrated at 5:27, 8:03 and 9:00. I do these and other exercises at home 5-6 days a week. All have been a godsend with strengthening my knees, legs and back, and alleviating pain keeping me off of any kind of pain medication.❤❤❤
Keep it up.. I like hearing about suggestions that can help others🙏👏👏👏👏
Going on 65, have a lot of pain from a 25 yr ago knee surgery/ plate and screws.
It's hard to find exercises that I can do. Thank you, guys! 💕
My doctor recommended that I check out your channel to help address some of the chronic pain issues that I have.
In all of these exercises, I’ve noticed how well you both demonstrate correct alignment, then go on to demonstrate the exercise done with poor alignment, which is vitally important in preventing injuries, especially in a fragile population.
Proper alignment, aka, good posture, is simply Ear, Shoulder, Hip in alignment.
Makes all the difference.
I also sometimes do my exercises in front of a full length mirror so that I can check my alignment.
Thanks Brad and Bob!
Edit: grammar
thanks Brad and Bob i appreciate you keeping it simple and easy to understand, i need to build my back so i can work my core because i always get a sore back if i try work on abs, why? Thanks again for your advice and practice routines. I love the push ups against the wall , brilliant
damn...I knew I have been doing something right for over 65 years and now at 76 I don't feel so bad about all the exercises I STILL do every day AND still lift weights three times a week. One day on, two days off etc....Plus doing the old Jack Lalanne exercises from days gone by....LOVE THIS YOU TUBE boys and girls...it has a lot of GREAT STUFF....be well out there everybody!!!!
Can’t beat Jack Lalanne! Just ordered one of his DVDs 📀 plus it’s great memories of my mom …we used to do together❣️
Yes I agree and I’m glad to hear your doing better because of it🙏I also suffered from a shoulder injury and found some of these helpful don’t give up🙌💕
Thanks for the videos, gents. While I'm not a senior myself, I'm concerned for a number of of people in my parents generation that can't do the stuff I do. Edit: a lot of them shy away from strength and posture building exercises! The stuff here looks appropriate for them!
You guys are great.
Where can I buy a heating pad like you are giving away.
These two are better than any MD I have worked with for injuries. Thanks for your videos.
You guys are good!!! I do these in the park close to my home after a 45 min brisk walk...Amazing!!!
Love you guys.🥰 Merry Christmas to you both🎄
So thankful for all the pro tips over the year, & all the laughs!👍
I catch my husband singing your song while he’s working around our organic farm! Love it. ❤️
Preston It is a VERY catchy jingle!!! 👍🏼
love it!
I'm new to Bob & Brad! What's the song? ; )
Kathy Drumwright Their opening song as the videos start.
Bob and Brad, the two most famous physical therapists...on the Internet. 🎶 ❤️ 🎶
It’s not really a “song”... 🤦🏻♀️
Today, too, I thank you from all of my heart. Well, I think you can even mend broken hearts, with mini-steps each day! Your knowledge, generosity, friendship, and perseverance, are great examples. Keep it up, please, you help people from all over the world!
Beautiful heart!
I like watching you guys, when I watch young guys show me the exercises they do it so quick that is no way I could do that.
Great exercises guys! In Toronto, the gyms are closed during the pandemic. I was looking for exercises I could do in my living room. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your valuable helpful video. A big help for the seniors.
Love these exercises. I also do line-dances in my home daily too. Thank you both.
Appreciate you both so much..being 71 now I want to do everything that's good for me. Great of you guys to give away gifts too.
THANK YOU so MUCH .
EXCELLENT for Seniors ❤️❤️❤️
Bob and Brad, thank you, for this and all your videos!
These are great exercises for seniors. Until COVID -19 hit, I exercised twice a week for an hour in the warm therapy pool at Furman University in Greenville, SC. I was in the best shape of my life. I am starting these today! Hopefully in the Spring or early summertime the Therapy Pool will reopen at Furman. Sure miss it. I am 76 and have always been active. Thanks for the exercises❣️
Hello Joanna
How are you doing today?
Thanks😄 for your video on exercises for seniors. I really liked all the demonstration on how to do all the exercises, your both so helpful. Thanks again😄
Ankle exercises, yes! I’ve gone down a couple of times because my ankles turned on an uneven surface. All of these exercises are great, thanks!
you guys are too funny but very helpful. I am 83 with lots of issues but am following all shows, the hammertoe series is really great. Thank you and God bless.
I can finally put my grandson's deflated kick ball to good use. Each exercise was meant for my needs right now! Thanks!!
Hi
Bob and Brad are rock stars. I’m a fan!
You guys are so much fun to watch Educating us on all kind of important things for our well being Will show my elderly father this video Won't hurt to do these myself THANKS!!!
Mrs B hello dear how are you doing today
Wow, I'm so amazed ,doing that exercise.you done well.
Great tips --this will help me with my dad who is 88....he has pt now helping him out--all these workouts look @@ familiar-- Keep up the Great Work!🙋♂️
Thank you Bob and Brad, these are the exercises that I needed...
Good info, but I wish it was more descriptive for the visually impaired. For example, place the ball here... describe that it is placed against the upper back, in between the shoulder blades.... , and instead of saying "like this" , say what you are doing. the language does not have to be excessive, just enough to follow along
Good for anyone at beginner level, or someone starting afresh after injury. Passing and sharing this with everyone.
I just turned 73 in October when I was growing up my mom would poke me in the back and say stand up straight she did it all the time but I'm thanking her today because I stand up straight and tall thank you guys we seniors need all the help we can get my dad was in the army World War II and there were ten of us children he thought he had his own troops so when we got in trouble he didn't get us with a belt he made us do calisthenics until we fell down which now when I look back on it it was a good thing
Fv,
Thank you , guys ! Wonderful tips ! Take care . Greetings from Brazil .
Thank you guys ! Wonderful tips ! Take care . Greetings from Brazil.
You are so charming, cheerful, educational and entertaining. I am 85 yr and I know I should be doing some of these......so I will. The ball behind your back to "lean back" is very important for posture and preventing that "bent over" posture, so great job. Thanks
Love you guys, so great to watch. Thank you 😘 very helpful.
Thanks Bob & Brad. You always give good exercises and options. Plus your dry wit is my kind of humor and you guys are very entertaining!
Gary Lewis hello dear how are you doing today
Thank you always enjoy all the great advice you give us seniors .❤
I retired three years ago after years of being a desk jockey. The first two years of my retirement were mostly spent at my desk surfing the internet. After those two years, I decided to do something worthwhile and signed on to be an activity bus driver for the local school (I had done this back in the 80s and still had my CDL). I barely passed my "fit for duty" physical test and felt really embarrassed. After that, I came to youtube to find exercises for seniors and found many things I just couldn't do. However, I did find Bob and Brad and several videos of theirs that are for seniors. At first, I thought these were elementary, but I realized this is where I needed to start...so I did. I'm happy to say that 5 months later, I'm better off than I was before, and have been able to move to exercises that are a little harder. I don't ache all over as much and have a better outlook on life and myself. In addition to these videos, two other things I found that helped, was walking (I started at 10 minutes a day and now do 30 minutes a day) and spending more time on my feet (stand-up option desk, cooking in the kitchen, working at my workbench in my shop). I might add that I have not changed my diet, but I have lost 9 lbs and one inch off my waist. The biggest thing, people? Get off your duff and start slow and simple with these things that Bob and Brad give you...you'll be able to progress from there. Thanks for the video!
❤ LOVE Bob and Brad!!!!
Exercise time stamps: Seated posture stretch 1 2:20, seated posture stretch with chin tuck 3:42, standing wall angel stretch 4:20. Chair squats 5:27, lateral movement/side steps/hip abduction 7:37, Ankle flexion/standing heel & toe raises 8:52, wall pushups 10:00.
Thank you so much for the times for each of these. Saves me time until I memorize my routine! Have a safe and healthy day!
Ty! Save me the chatter!
Thanks for the timestamps buddy that was very nice of you
@@Elizabeth-rp1pi and you could have saved the internet your chatter, appreciate what people are doing for you. You didn't pay for it

Bob & Brad, I’ve just found you this month and think you are both terrific. I started looking for knee pain and found you! I ordered your knee glider. (I had the meniscus surgery on my left knee. . . So anyway thank you. You have a new fan!
@Susan Mahaffey
Why in the world would you, or anyone, look for knee pain? (Giggle!)
Hopefully the knee glider is helping.

Thank you for teaching us!
These are awesome exercises guys. Love your channel, it’s got very valuable info for us seniors. Thank you so much.
Exercise is important to stay healthy, especially for people our age. As we experience numerous physical changes, sometimes even simple daily activities may get challenging, which is why these exercises are great as it helps stretch the body, strengthen your muscles and improve your balance as well. What's even more amazing is that the exercises in this video also has different variations to help you do it whether modified or not to make sure that you'd still be able to do it no matter what capacity you have in doing them. Thank you so much for this Bob & Brad! You're just like Reviving Mind's health and wellness coaches who, just like you, aim to help older adults live longer, stronger and happier.
I do yoga daily and that takes care of it. But love your presentation, guys.

Bob n Brad... I have a story for you. My shoulder has been hurting for over a year and limited range of motion. Painful! I have avoided going to the doctor or PT because of COVID [I'm 75]. I watched your video where you talked with the skeleton about things rubbing wrong etc and your exercise of pressing your shoulder blades together multiple times a day. Guess what? Much better right away. I mean that very day. Wow. Thank you so much. I'm a fan forever! ❤
Wonderful exercises. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing these
Videos! I am 65 and had a knee replacement in Oct of 2021. My PT was done after 2 months due to insurance. However, I followed you fine folks and was able to continue my progress.
Now here I am at at 5 months post op and have a great bend in my knee, do my own PT/ weight bearing exercises 3× wkly, and walk and hike. Planning on a backpacking trip in June with my daughter. Your videos helped me a great deal in healing and progressing! Thank you so much!

I was wondering if by some chance you have some diagram sheets of the different exercises for seniors to so for different problem areas of their daily living that we could print out to refer to as we take on the task with the hope in mind of doing them regularly . Thank you both for or time and effort. Sharon Arbour.
