We bought Lexus es300h limited yesterday, the quality feeling is amazing, the quietness. We had before Mercedes e220 and recently Gle350. I think that with German cars you must go in the higher classes before getting the same quality as Lexus. If you don’t mind sports drive then Lexus is perfect
I live in the United States and personally, even though we have cars that are bigger than this, the Lexus ES is 1 of my dream cars. After I start living with friends, I hope to get a Lexus ES (possibly this newer model 300h) as a personal car, at some point in time.
Hi Johan, I'm not really sure you'd remember, but figured it won't hurt to ask. When you test drove this car, do you remember hearing a little single knock type noise ..... it usually happens when your stopping or taking off ? I listened closely in this video and it does the same thing mine does. I was wondering if you asked them what makes that sound. I bought a new 2021 es300h in January. I recently noticed the knock...( it could have been doing it from day one and just now noticed). I took it to the dealer and they took a ride around the block and said "that's normal, it's you brake actuator". I went home and could not find any videos with this noise. I took it back again after talking to the general manager. A mechanic inspected it and states "it's the transaxle engaging as it should be". Well, needless to say I'm disappointed with the dealership. They hear the same noise and give two different answers. The car rides very nice and no issues..... other than an irritating little knock sometimes when stopping or starting to move. I've watched other videos of people driving the es300h, but most of them talk nonstop and can't hear if their's makes the same noise. I drove my friend's 2019 es300h and couldn't hear a noise. If you have any information on the noise I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!
Hello Mike, my 2019 ES 300h (Japanese made) does make that noise. I was told by the dealer it is the brake actuator as well (charging the vacuum system). I do have some videos I have taken of my car, maybe we can connect and share? What other info have you found? Thanks
I almost ended up crashing because i used my turn signals to change lanes but a acar that was about to enter the road thought i was gonna make a turn so he cut me off
A good car and typically well made but I can’t help but feel that the interior materials are more high end Toyota instead of Lexus. Bean counters at work.
That’s an ignorant statement. Please educate yourself on the Toyota hybrid eCVT inner workings. It’s all in the name of efficiency, world class fuel economy.
A premium car means Mercedes & BMW. Sorry but It has no characteristics on console. I dont feel a high quality as I feel in a German premium, that console looks more like a Toyota. And check how loud on 3:16. My suggest is driving a Mercedes S on same road with same camera. It will be a great compare.
This is a high quality car with great interior. A lot of wood accents and sof leather all around the inside. It may not be as good as in German cars but its still great and considering that its cheaper and waaaaay more reliable than a german opponent, i would go with lexus without thinking twice.
@@Kromanjonac-fq2no It's cheaper? where are you from? in UK it's almost the same prices but much less performance. Instead they give you adaptive suspension as standard.
I drived this car and compared the quality of materials to the details with other premium marks. Honestly this car had amazing comfort, the quality of the materials is so solid and good just not comparable to premium cars with same price. Design is ok but multimedia can be better in al lexus cars. The screen display is like old screen.

How about the comfort in comparison with the german cars you have owned?
It is so damn quite. The sound insulation in this car is one of the best on the market.

Lexus ES is very nice I love this model 2021
Perfect car 👌
The Sound Sounds Like Toyota Camry It’s Because It’s The Same Company Of Toyota And Lexus I Love It!
so quite, thanks Johan.

Very quiet. The turning signal is louder than the sound in the car.
3:16 do you think it is quite?
@@thekombatant8672 yes, mic picks up more noise, it’s going to be quieter in real life.
I like it. Someday I will buy this Car But I don't know what day. Hahaha
I’m buying a used 2019 soon lol

fantastique car.
Was it too much to put the key in the folder like a normal person instead of dropping it?

is it just my feeling that it is really loud inside?
Good car~
Nice belgian habit to use blinkers even if there is no one around.

Interior materials are good. Bean counters had more to do with the incredibly generic design and styling.
Enjoy the silence.

Unfortunately, noisier than I expected it to be. There's D segment cars that are better insulated...
Hmm..I agree
What D segment cars?
The CVT is a dealbreaker
it's not CVT.It is a 7 speed dual-clutch.
It's very good car, but this gearbox... And It should has some 3.5 v6.
Gearbox is a scandal for a luxury car like Lexus. So much noise and such a waste of rpms = fuel.. 0 out of 10 stars.

Stop lying!
A fully loaded ES costs less than E class of the same caliber.
