Option factory swap for 18inch rims was free. Didn’t you get the option for that? You should have, if not I’d be talking to Carter Ford and asking why they didn’t let you know that it was an option. We got our Everest Sport 4 weeks ago with touring pack/tow pack, 18 inch rims with alterain , ARB bull bar factory fit etc.
Cheers mate, yeah I know we could have ordered them from Ford but it was an additional cost on top of what we already paid for the touring pack, so I figured we would use that money for other mods. It's just a shame that Ford haven't identified that picking the towing/touring pack means you will actually be towing and touring lol, hope you guys aren't waiting long for yours 🤞
@@whittyadventures7250 i ordered the same car back in Nov 2022 (still waiting) and the 18"rims and all terrain tyres were no extra cost option so i went with that.
Really love the look of the new Everest, the rear tail lights look awesome. Subscribed and can't wait to see more of the build. The colour looks schmick too! Keep up the great content ✌️☮️ - Guy
Good video mate... going to be laying a deposit down on the wildtrack everest.. cant wait... not looking forward to the wait time but oh well.. was looking for the ranger wildtrack with 18 month wait but have decided on the everest
Had an Everest Sport ( blue ) on when order but decided to go for the Ranger instead because of the higher GCM. Max towing on the Everest is 3.1t when loaded to GVM. Sold my Y62 to get the Ranger, and really happy I am back in a Ford ( tragic diehard )...... Towing our 3.1t van we're getting about 15-17L/100 average, depending on the terrain...... Enjoy, you will love it.....
So from an esthetic point looks great had a chat with dealership only to find out 24 month wait. Absolutely disappointed....wait times ridiculous.😢 But great video and thanks for showing off💪🏽
Thanks KM 🙌 if you do a bit of shopping around, there are dealerships that have stock available or stock inbound, dealerships usually don't share that info because they want the sale, but I bet you will find a vehicle sooner by checking around. Good luck 🤞
@@whittyadventures7250 cheers man. It's saying this do they inflate prices because of limited stock or are they ethical on price. This is for the wife and she loves it. 😍
From what I've seen mainly from friends and family buying the everest/ranger prices are pretty consistent however they do announce price rises for various reasons from time to time mate.
My brother is working in china right now.. he bought a Explorer through ford china and it was delivered to his door step next day…. I guess it has to do with the market size car manufacturers don’t give a rat axx about Australia for this reason
You noticed that big black silhouette in the camera display too.. Yeah, I hope ford release an update to fix that. I've ordered the platinum but won't see it till July.
Loved the video! Great editing! I've currently got a Prado set up for touring including long range tanks and dual battery set up. Considering the fuel consumption and the fact you're towing a sizeable caravan, is fuel economy something you've considered as well? Be interested to hear. Keep the video's coming!
Thanks Brendan, yeah fuel economy is massive to us as our van is pretty heavy and the Navaras fuel economy pulling the van was quite high, we are going on a 3 week trip soon so I'll update you on economy 👌
Heaps of 18 inch genuine wheels and tyres on Marketplace going very cheap! And you can sell the blacks 20's for good money. The 20's are a non issue! Sold my V6 Sport after one week. Terrible road noise from the back of the car (more noise than the previous generation - what was Ford thinking?) and the new seats are no good for larger people. Also my transmission had noisy pump gears which Ford says is normal LOL. The whole car is a backward step in my opinion except for the new engines.
The 18 in rims are a no cost option for the sports V6

Nice video I subbed not to far from 1k subs keep up the good work
Thank you for the support 🙂
You can get 18 inch wheels and at tyres when you order from factory, looking forward to build, and ours.

No its not. Its a no extra option i don't know who miss informed you but this model is a no extra cost!
@@whittyadventures7250 you were told wrong it's a no cost option for the AT's on the sport

Much difference in performance between the two?

Did you know you can remove the front plate bracket and screw your thin line plate direct to the bumper. Did it to my Ranger and looks way better.
I ordered mine Dec 21 yes 21 and paid deposit, still waiting.
How do you find the Adblue? And where do you purchase yours from? Cheers😀
So far we have done 10,000kms and only just had to fill the adblue, we are lucky our local service station has it on pump
what did you pay drive away for the sport
Hi Ellgee, we paid $83,000 drive away
In SA drive away with touring pack, $78985
Rather the 20”…. To me the 17& 18” is old school thinking that they are better for 4x4
With the big V6😂
