Excited I found you guys! Looking forward to new products and tutorials about Ableton and live looping. Also hoping to see some content from you about the future of midi, midi guitars and really innovative NAMM stuff!
You can create fixed pairs and even groups. This means your WIDI devices will exactly pair as you configure. Next it will use adaptive frequency hopping to automatically transmit on the best performing channel. In general, latency between 2 WIDI device can be reduced to 3ms. That said, it is wireless and every environment is different. So, the best way to find out if it works for you, is by trying it yourself. Hope this helps 😀👍
Purchased this device. Question Can I connect it to an IConnect Midi2+ and control two synth connected to the additional Midi out 2 and the USB since the I connect routs from din to USB?
WIDI can transmit MIDI. So, if you plug it into a router, you can route as you like. The routing depends on your hardware and is not related to WIDI. For instance we offer the WIDI Thru6 that allows wired and wireless input and 5 thru ports as a splitter: www.cme-pro.com/widi-thru6-bluetooth-midi-thru-box-splitter/ Also, WIDI devices itself can split and merge completely wireless: www.cme-pro.com/public-beta-test-ios-widi-app/ Also we offer the U6MIDI Pro, that can route, filter and map your MIDI messages. I’ve seen many community members plug in a WIDI Master to add wireless capabilities: www.cme-pro.com/u6-midi-pro-usb-midi-interface-routing-filter/ Feel welcome to opt-in on the shared knowledge of the community: facebook.com/groups/cmeprofans
If you are not sure, go for WIDI Jack + 5-pin DIN cables, it has an additional external power option via USB-C 😊👍 www.cme-pro.com/widi-which-device-will-you-connect/
@@CMEPro How is that wireless ? All I need is a 5 pin powered out to a receiver. Do they make a rechargeable battery (or battery) by MIDI out ? Guess I have to look into it. What I think I need is a compact 5 pin out with its own power and same for the receiver. These MIDI devices look like the power comes from whatever you plug them into.
@@suspectdown5133 it all depends on your hardware. You can use WIDI Master as standalone - if your hardware provides power over its MIDI out - you can use WIDI Bud Pro and WIDI Uhost on your operating system side and they will be powered via usb bus power. In those cases you will not need external power. You can learn more via www.cme-pro.com/widi-which-device-will-you-connect/
