If you like this, you may enjoy the debates out of the UK. Actual intellectuals debate consequential issues from antiquity to the present. They have time limits and take questions from the audience in real time. I think the best are from "Intelligence Squared" and "Oxford Circle." They're serious philosophers and intellectuals, authors in search of truth. Excellent.
I voted Dem until 2017. Then I started looking at all the data surrounding immigration and realized that the populist nationalists were generally correct on this issue. I of course knew who Bannon was but never actually took the time to give him a real listen. He's bright, saavy and likable.
Same here. The MSM has done an incredible job at hiding the truth by accusing people of certain things in order to taint their message. It's the modern day equivalent of yelling "witch". No matter what you say after that people think you're a witch and ignore what you have to say, or look at it through that lense.
Really? It seems to me that the consensus view among economists is that immigration is a net positive. Falling wages for some low education Americans in some sectors sure, but even that is temporary.
You’re right except that there are limits to a welfare state, which we’re increasingly moving towards. Free immigration would break the system and hurt the taxpayers who have been supporting it. Personally I think we should phase out government programs and raise immigration caps proportionately.
@@ace625 That’s not really true. Mass immigration drives American wages down and raises American unemployment. Furthermore, there’s more important things than the economy such as heritage, culture and social cohesion.

@@pimtool9351 You and the dude who wrote the main comment in this thread have to understand that there is a difference between "populism" and "nationalism/patriotism". "Nationalism" is based on tribalism so, You flock to your own kind/tribe/nation. "Populism" is an ideology based on rights and power of the people/masses. Quanative easing in the nut shell. Corporations need to take over the middle class. They perchase all the competition in their relative industry including every media company and tele communications company. The curve of supply and demand goes against this Socialist big government big Corporation theory because of the bust and boom of cyclical economics. So when a natural down turn in one industry bleeds into the next it cannot be contained without massive injections of cash. The federal government cannot continously inject capital into private corporations, so they use the Federal Reserve too. Digitally printing money to purchase Government bonds at first to offset the Capital that once was the Banks and Insurance companies domain. But do to capitol restraints of over lending to huge Corporations has fallen to the Federal Reserve whom is now not only digitaly printing trillions of dollars to buy Government bonds. But now buying for the first time in U. S. and World History they are buying Corporate bonds. We are on the presipous of the largest World Economic collapse that has ever been seen. Billionaires will become the middle class and millionaires will be the working class scenario. All others will be on sustanence payments and food lines.

@@buddygraham1486 I've since found out MMT is a theory that the federal govt can print as much money as they want regardless of inflationary pressures that brings on. What a mess.
@@robertpace901 Not quite, MMT states that you can print as much as you want as long as you control over inflationary pressures. There are several parameters used to control inflationary pressures, which include interest rates, taxes, and bond issuance. The problem with MMT is that it has not been demonstrated to work over a long period of time. Also, governments that have simply printed money in the past (e.g. Zimbabwe, Nicaragua, and Venezuela) had poor control over inflation, which resulted in runaway inflation. So there is really no example of a country that has truly used MMT as fiscal policy for long term with any demonstration of success.

Makes me want to start asking Bannon if he would consider running for office in 2024
@@sandrajohnson6005 hé would be a great choice i absolutely agree with you, im all for a conservative philosophy and pragmatic problem solving but poeple cant get past the rhetoric ... but great choice nonetheless

He 's got my vote too..
Great interviewer...so well done ....nice to listen to the guest ....instead of the person interviewing opinions. Professionally done for a change. Thank you so much.
Great Bannon interview thanks P.B.S.
I watched part one straight through! Really enjoyed it. He brings tremendous insight to the Presidents perspective among others.
I’ve watched dozens of hours of Bannon on RUclips at this point and I have not at all found the alt-right cheerleader that he is portrayed in the media (and by Ben Shapiro). He has become a critical source for how I form my view of current events.
In the 1st interview he said he was alt-right before it was taken over by racists and the such
@@RealAmericanStar yeah back when alt right literally meant "the alternative right" and not far right
He's an expert at everything, not.
Great comment Michael. They way he is portrayed is absolutely in contrast to his reality. I honestly don’t know how he, Trump, and similar people have been so successfully painted as complete racists. It takes a certain kind of illogic to believe that.
Kenbomp you built a nice straw man there.
Love the way this man presents .....excellent and always understandable...Calm and collected ...makes sense...never looses his cool...Loved the way he handled Bill Maher ....how can you argue with the truth....Appreciate how you look at things from all points of view. Giving credit when it is due is a great plus to your credibility Steve. Your a rebel with a cause.
Every time i watch an interview with Steve Bannon is just amazing and educational! Great guy, we need more like him!
I listen to his podcast everyday. He is so inspiring.
He’s right
Steven K Bannon is old school a True American. Make and Keep America FIRST
If you like this, you may enjoy the debates out of the UK. Actual intellectuals debate consequential issues from antiquity to the present. They have time limits and take questions from the audience in real time. I think the best are from "Intelligence Squared" and "Oxford Circle." They're serious philosophers and intellectuals, authors in search of truth. Excellent.
Steve Bannon is a great American Hero. We love and pray for Steve Bannon Health and wellness. Many thanks to Steve Bannon
Very clear and to the point, thank you Steve...
Bannon seems genuine and is great at helping us understand what’s happening in gov. Thanks for the interviews. Maybe there is hope in media.
Except on the economics and crime.
One of the greatest thinkers of our time. Instead of criticizing and being all talk, he’s applying his knowledge and saving America.
Steve Bannon your a brilliant man!!!!🙏
Best interview ever by PBS! How refreshing to not sense an agenda attached! Thank you so much!
Bannon made a deal that they would air the entire interviews uncut that's why they are so good.
Bannon is one of the most brilliant strategists and thinkers in the last 200 years
I totally enjoyed both interview's of Syeve Bannon, what an intelligent man. thank you !
One of the most important interviews in modern history
Right. I did not understand where the strategy of "alternate facts" came from previously.
Thanks a lot Mr.Steve Bannon. I do appreciate your Views. Praise the Lord. May GOD bless you.
Bannon, always the smartest guy in the room.
Preach that truth man 👍👍
President Trump firing Bannon said "He loses his mind."
Mireille Lebeau the Trump administration has gone to shit since Bannon left
Smartest guy? He'd last 10 seconds with a Philosopher!

Very impressed with the interviewer's questions, so unlike MSM's type questions...

Bannon is the best saleman I've ever heard. I've spent 30 years in sales and I've never heard such a pitch before; but i know bullshit when i hear it but at the same time I respect it. I tip my hat but I'll stay on my side of the line.

Steve needs to go on Joe Rogan. A solid three hour chinwag
Tom Rooney 💯

Be over Joe's head I think.... have another bong
Joe does not really do politics
Rogan is entertaining and seems like a genuinely good guy, but he’s kind of an idiot. Bannon is on a verydifferent level.
Beyond amazing . Beyond illuminating. Steve Bannon's smart as a whip and lives in the real world. Practical. Succinct. Honest. He's OK with what he can and can't get.
Watching PBS on you tube on TV your 2nd interview it's really good. I think you know Trump like no one else does

A surprisingly good and fair interview by PBS.
Yes but this interview is old. What is PBS doing now? That's an honest question. I quit watching legacy media. During the last presidential election. When I saw how bias and anti American they all are. And I was disgusted by their coverage of the "mostly peaceful" riots.
This is the stuff you will never hear from the mainstream. Good work PBS. I think a lot of people would view this administration much differently if they had this information.
Bannon, always the smartest guy in the room.
There are history books, actually.
Love and salute Mr Bannon
Steve Banon is one of the most important people in the president Donald Trump and his family too support them in the President Donald Trump, s ELECTION and how they have been involved with the whole process of making the Country and the world a better place to live
He is teaching lesson to interviewer. Good Steave
I've always liked Steve Bannon but grew a new admiration for him once Trump won president in 2016. Best thing that could ever happen to US is Steve's take on things.

Great interview, gives details of they why and wherefore. Could listen to Mr Bannon all day.
Steve Bannon sure knows his stuff. He didn't stick around and turn into a DC Leach, he went back to what he likes to do. You certainly have to admire him for doing that.....
What does he do? I really don't know. Does he do podcasts or have a channel? Where does he live? Was he around for 6th Jan, 2021?

i have enormous respect for this man bannon.he has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the inner workings of realpolitic whereas roger stone knows most about the underworld of american politics"Haedes" ie the underbelly.both are compulsive listening.bannon is a patriot and that always shines through.extraordinary sensitized political brain with all his antennae on high alert.not the kind of guy you listen to if youre an insomniac and certainly shouldnt be listened to within three to four hours of your normal bedtime as you will not sleep.
Only one problem with Steve Bannon, he's right.
Visible Integrity and intelligence. Thank you.

Steve Bannon always drops gems 💎
Very informative interview. Thanks for all comments. Good job.
It’s happened even in England - now Labour Party folks are openly talking about “Progressive Patriotism” - left wing populism. Wouldn’t have happened without Bannon and Trump.
They've had a huge impact on the Western world, just like I hoped and predicted it would back when Trump was elected.
So national socialist?
@@pimtool9351 You and the dude who wrote the main comment in this thread have to understand that there is a difference between "populism" and "nationalism/patriotism". "Nationalism" is based on tribalism so, You flock to your own kind/tribe/nation. "Populism" is an ideology based on rights and power of the people/masses. These people can be of various tribes and cultures. What unites people in "populism" is their economic standing, not their tribe/culture. That's the difference. I am a populist but I am not a nationalist.

To my surprise this was a very informative interview and the reporter didn't try to play games.
Of course, Steve Bannon is one smart and articulate figure. And a true patriot.
I wrote him off because of his association with Trump. Now I see that he is a Tad smarter and actually quiet interesting and pleasant
Curious how you suffered in anyway under Trump...not what your ideals of utopia should be , but real life suffering?
Congrats for keeping an open mind, most people dont go to that extent...
if media tells you to write somebody off, you can bet your life on it that the exact opposite is true and that you must write media off. same principle goes for Trump also. Establishment media will never stop lying about people who threaten their absolute power

So glad I watched these 2 extensive interview for a fresh perspective on a brilliant, imperfect sure, but brilliant man with a really deep and complete understanding on everything that was going on. Its like juggling 35 balls - almost impossible - just thinking about what he was trying to manage in those times, gives me palpitations...

Excellent interview. Yeah, how about a quantitative easing for the little guy?
@@mojave1765 you mean Modern Monetary Theory? I looked up the definition. It made no sense to me. Do you have a definition that is easily understood?
I think some post have been removed. I responded to a person named Mojave... But there's no post from him that I responded to. I've also seen post with my name on it but it wasn't something I posted.
