- In this video we go over three theorems you must know if you're taking the AP Calculus Exam (AB or BC) the Value Theorems: Extreme Value Theorem (EVT), Intermediate Value Theorem (IVT), and Mean Value Theorem (MVT). We go over what each theorem says and talk about where you'll see it on the AP Calculus exam and how to use them when you need them.

MC questions
2020: What are those?
wow, no wonder your name looks familiar to me, I watched your videos on solving FRQs. Ty for knowing theorems are essential for the exam, and analyzing them for us. This is def some quality videos that help me reach towards the 5 on this upcoming exam. Thanks!
Where's my quarantine gang at?

LET’S GOOOO TOMORROW’S THE BIG DAY
LETS GOOOOOO
For Extreme Value therom, what if there is a straight horizontal line. the Function would be continuous but their arent any maximum or minimums.
Think of it the other way, when there's a straight horizontal line every value (the only value) is the absolute maximum and every value (the only value) is the absolute minimum. Weird, sure, but doesn't break the rules!
Thanks for this video! Are we allowed to abbreviate on frq explanations (for example using the three dots symbol or cont. instead of continuous)? Or will they mark us down for that
Yeah. Any abbreviation I use will be fine on the exam. That said, when in doubt write it out!
@@turksvids got it tyty!
cooked to cooking
its fr in an hour
what if the function is constant and it’s a straight line on the graph ???
y = c or f(x) = c
e.g. y = 4 when c is 4
Outstanding
Pandora Tomorrow Good luck tomorrow, we got this
Night before 2021 Exam gang!
Good luck!
Your voice is satisfying
Good luck to everyone taking their exam tomorrow !🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
You’re the best!!! Thank you!
Thank u!
cramming the day before the 2020 exam, do i need to worry about EVT since it's mostly used on multiple choice?
Abigail R I’d look into it probably but like personally I’m just keeping it in the back of my head
great
Half hour before the exam gang
eyyy
GOAT
thanks!
Who else is here just before the exam?
When school starts up after summer I’ll be in calculous. Do you have any tips that’ll be helpful
Im Legit calculous
Whose is here before the 2022 Calc Ab test
What about Rolle's Theorem?
Rolle's Theorem is just MVT with f(a) = f(b). There's not a single problem that requires Rolle's Theorem specifically. (I don't bother with it in class, just let my students know it exists and that they don't really need it because MVT has it all covered.) Hope this helps!
@@turksvids Oh true. Thank you!
U sound like Joe Hanson
Yeah. That checks out.
anyone here an hour before ap exam 😓
Let’s go
Anyone taking the 2022 bc exam today

where my 2020 gang at
Bruhhhh, Is it just me or does he talk too fast
Never a reason to complain about that on youtube. Just hit the gear and adjust the settings so the video plays slower.
