Below are the links to each product:
Cristal Products Untouchable Tire Shine $4.99 -
shop.advanceau...
Cover All Tire Shine $19.99 - amzn.to/2LHyZSc
I love Crystal Untouchable. For less than $4 at Walmart you can’t beat it. I always get asked by men what I use on my Jeep tires. Sorry I can’t see spending $20 a can of Cover All.
I have only used Untouchable myself and love the nozzle spray for sure
I mentioned this on another video similar to this...get a large piece of cardboard and cut it about a 1/2 inch or so larger then your rim. And then make 2 or 3 holes in the center like you would do a bowling ball so you can hold it while you are spraying the product on the tire. You won't have to worry about any overspray...I have been doing this for years.
Waste of time. With the nozzle on the Cristal Products you can accurately direct the product. You’re still gonna polish the tim at the end regardless.
@@EastCoastJeepSRT ...No not a waste of time unless you are too lazy.
It’s a waste of time. You don’t need a cutout if you know what you’re doing. That’s rookie stuff. smh
@@EastCoastJeepSRT...Wrong...Have been doing this for over 40 years as I sure am not a rookie...After my rims are clean and then I spray my tire dressing on, I don't have to worry about going back to clean them. This idea came from a man thats been doing it longer then me...Guess he is a rookie...Yeah smh!
I don’t care if you’ve been doing something wrong for 50 years. Wrong is wrong. You do NOT need a cutout with these nozzles. It’s a complete waste of time. Step down off of your high horse guy. Just because you waste time using one does not fkn mean the rest of the World has to, agrees with you, or thinks your methods are viable. Arrogant much?!
The right question is: how long do they last ??? Than there might be a diffefence
Not long, and crystal doesnt last a day after a rainy day. Ive never tried cover all
I used cover all this same product on my Tacoma on 33s all terrain big tires 🛞 i drive it every day for work and it would last me at least two to three car washes 🧼 so I do highly recommended it 👍🏼👌🏻
Im going to try Crystal myself. The cover all is 8 bux @ O'Reilly's. One thing about applying cover all. Do NOT drown it like the gentleman on this video did. Treat it as a paint. Tiny short bursts all the way around. Maybe 3 times around. More even, dries quicker, no sling. I've also done the tires first then my girlfriend takes her car to the car wash almost immediately. The tires looked perfect. No touch up needed. Nice video, thank you, I hadn't heard of crystal before
It still slings no matter how you apply it. We've tested it numerous times. There's no anchient Chinese secret to apply this. Spray it on, allow it to dry, it still slings and doesn't look as good as others. That's the bottom line.
I currently use Meguire’s tire shine. I’m gonna try the untouchable first to see how I like it on my 17 inch bridgestones on my 4runner. Looks really good on your keep tires. Nice keep too.
I just bought two cans of Cover All from O’Reillys for $14 + tax. It’s my first time using it and I was impressed.
Imagine if you bought two cans of Untouchable for $4.99 each. You would’ve saved $4 and have been even more impressed.
Imagine if you bought the 1 gallon jug of the Cover all, you could fill a professional sprayer with it, and it would come out to be the same price as the Crystal product.
It was 14 for 2 cans or 14 each ?
@@waynewolfe3343 $14 for two cans.
at 1/4 of the price, Cristal product all day
Enjoy all the sling
If you put a little bit less and do it before the vehicule sits overnight, fling off is a lot less than this video and I use Cover All but I will be trying the Untouchable very soon.
I get the cristal for $3.99 best bang for your buck!!! And its made in 🇵🇷
Where can I buy the Cristal tire shine
Hey Ron ! Just got my first can of the Crystal Untouchable. Getting the Jeep detailed tomorrow and will use this. Thanks for the great review!
Chris Gurule Love this stuff. Minimal sling and super high gloss
That “WET” “WET” drip drop.
ive used cover all for a while. Never used the other product but the cover all did sling because the guy caked it on.You just mist it on give it about 30 minutes to dry before driving. Dries like glass with no sling at all.
Exactly. Don't compare top products if you can't follow directions.
I use Meguire’s insane shine . I want to try cover all.
Absolutely LOVE Cristal products untouchable... the only issue, NO ONE will send to Canada!!! I picked up 4 cans over the boarder 4 years ago and still have 2 cans left. I'm in 10 to 15 car shows a year.
Im still trying to find a can of the stuff in Nova Scotia. STREET LEGAL TIRE SHINE is another product I'd love to get my hands on. No such luck.
Can a tell you a wee trick , for the scrapes on your wheel. G et black nail polish put it on , leave for 10 mins, then put another coat on...wait 10-15 mins, Then put a clear gloss on it another 10 minis Repeat with gloss, and you will never know the difference Honestly .....ps try it it works... done it with ma BMW..... Sorry i thought the alloys wher black, but its the same with Silver, just match the colour......x
I had them professionally fixed but I like that tip! Thanks!
i can attest, Superior products make some great products! Overall great quality
$20 for Cover All? 🤪
O’Reilys sells it for under $10
Craig Mills not anymore, here in Louisiana it’s like $17@ oreilys
Get the one that doesn't say California on it. It's 7.97 a can. I think the California one has to meet their standards. Look for the one with a darker blue label.. the stuff is awesome!!!
@@joed1244 I will check that thanks
10 bucks in Michigan
Leave it to California to cost more, what else is new.
I love cover all, only $8 in South Carolina o’Rielys.
June pretty damn good💯💯💪🏿💪🏿
wider spray is much better for those of us that drive trucks and jeep wranglers with larger tires
for me like you say, Cristal is better price and 99% better thanks for the video.
I used crystal before watching this video. U dont want sling but u still want a fine shine, spray and wipe with a fiber towel or use a sponge to wipe
I love the Cover All. It's amazing.
Today is 1/18/21 and I paid $3.86/can at my local Walmart for Cristal's Untouchable Wet Tire Shine. I bought two cans because it was darn inexpensive. I applied it when I got home....love it so far but I haven't driven anywhere to see it's sling factor and it's too early to comment about durability. No matter what I find out about it in the next week I think it's safe to say it's the value leader in the tire shine market.I'll be heading back to pick up another 2-3 cans.
I bought 4. I'd say the spray last about 3-4 days w/o rain
@@tajrice5398 My local WM started carry it again around six months ago but only for a very brief time which for some reason is the norm for them. I wasn't sure how long they would be carrying it so I bought eight cans over a several week span to stock up on it. I haven't seen it on their shelves since I almost cleaned out their inventory. Yeah, even without rain the shine starts to fade which I don't mind because it simply fades a rich black color.
They should call those two sprays, "The kings of sling", but they do make the tires shine.😉
I use coverall and find it easier and better applying it with a soft bristle brush. Doesn’t sling at all and doesn’t attract dirt as much as when you spray it straight onto the tire. Wash my car weekly and still looks good on the last day
CoverAll slings no matter how you apply it.
@@EastCoastJeepSRT must be doing it wrong bud. Looking at my car right now. Washed it three days ago. Zero sling..
@@209FlyBoy No, we’re not doing it wrong. We tested it extensively and it slings. You’re being intellectually dishonest and I don’t appreciate BS. CoverAll slings, not a lot, but it slings, and it slings more than Cristal Products Untouchable. Later bud.
@@EastCoastJeepSRT must be sponsored by cristal. I dont care who is the best or who is the cheapest. Im giving my very honest opinion. Why would i give a company a dishonest review. You can tell me anything you want but to the other viewers, try this method and you won’t be let down.
No, I’m not sponsored by them. It slings. You can let it dry for a day but once your wheels start rotating it still kicks some off. It’s not a lot, but it comes off. Have a nice day.
Man your car is clean
I like No Touch the best so far
I was a big fan of the crystal wet & tire shine, till I noticed a lot of slings. I used coverall one time but the price just isn’t worth it, I find it that Nicks tire shine is the best on the market now, along side with eagle 1 which also slings but has a great shine to it that lasts weeks
I get untouchable in Indiana at Walmart for 3.88 And coverall is 10.99
I've been using Cristal Products Untouchable since I first heard you mention it in one of your vids and I'm definitely going to stick with that one. Can't beat that value at this point.
Cover All is only $7.00 - $9.00 at O'Reillys Auto Parts.
CRISTAL!!!!!!!! YEAH. ALL DAY BABY
I think I would spray it on but slightly wipe it to minimize the sling on your vehicle. I don’t think it would be that big of a deal to wipe them.
What you mean by sling? Like even though it dries, it come if slightly and go on your paint?
I got the Cristal Untouchable and let me tell ya.. it works AWESOME!!
Where can I buy that
O’reilys here where I live is only 8, sometimes you can get it 2 for 10
Can u hook me up plzhonestly in my countryit between$25 or 27$ per can its not worth it but i do believe in the product
Cristal is between 3.29 and 3.69 here in Baltimore at Walmart. Autozone 5.79
It's best to buy the Cover All by the gallon. Imo
Yep
How do you like the lexani tired and do you trust them at high speeds?
Nice wheels what kind are they and what size?
WOW…! Cover All is only about $8 a can here in the Omaha area.
Well those first couple minutes sure were satisfying. Wow what a phenomenal mix of video and music. Why does this channel not have hundreds of thousands of subscribers? Lol Good stuff.
So, do you clean and coat the tires each wash or every other wash?? I bought a chevy sonic ltz and the tire shine lasted like 3 washes in the winter so about 3-4 weeks. I am not sure what they used but it was fantastic stuff.
Puerto ricooooo crystal products all the waaay i prefer harris ever wet
Usually spray cans have adhesive to cling to tire. But they're notorious for clinging dust
I pay around 10 bucks for coverall here in Texas
Chris Woods Try Untouchable. Works better and costs $4.99
@@EastCoastJeepSRT I'll see if I can find it. thanks bro
Dude does a good job with detailing. But seriously, use a wheel cover when spraying on wheels. I've found several cheap plastic trash can lids of different sizes. Saves tons of time.
He uses his own select spray nozzles. Any little overspray is immediately wiped off and then he polished the rims after. Really doesn’t have to waste time with a wheel cover
What I notice with your spray test is the cover all didn’t run but the other one was running right away. I’ve heard good things about cover all so I will be trying that one.
Jerry Polete Mot sure what you were watching but the Untouchable doesn’t run. It dries like glass. Cover All sucks. I won’t buy it again. It looks good at first but doesn’t shine as good as Untouchable and it fades faster. It’s also more expensive. It’s a lose lose all around.
@@EastCoastJeepSRTIt's because you used the California one
Thanks, very thorough but i don't think it was clear which one has the tighter spray, I hate to spray something on my tires which then causes to have to clean the rims. I'll go for the cheaper one since they are so close. Thanks for sharing.
Gotcha. My detailer sprays the tires first, then a spray wax on the rims after to boost the ceramic coating.
I got the Cover All from O'Reillys for $7.00
Yo bro ru serious in my country its 25 or $ 27 per can in ec dollars an they sell vry fast here i hav about 5 can s how they r good
Cover All sucks.
Yep. I just bought two cans for $14.
Over at my Walmart Cristal is like 4$! Can’t bet that! I bought like 5 cans for tithe price of cover all
Great review before and after riding!
Better to spray the towel , not the rim. Some products cause crystallization on your rotors, not good on your brakes
But which product is easier to clean? Which one leaves your tires looking more brown as well!? Cheaper isn't always better!
Hey try the Harris ever wet tire shine $5
I used cover all this same product on my Tacoma on 33s all terrain big tires 🛞 i drive it every day for work and it would last me at least two to three car washes 🧼 so I do highly recommended it 👍🏼👌🏻
Use sponge to stop the splatter to get excess off tire
I am in Harrisburg and cant find Cover All anywhere. The closest is Altoona PA.
Your local auto parts store should either have it or be able to order it. The O Reilly's part number is F96.
And yes I do use COVER ALL, I buy it from O'Reilly's $7-$10 here in HOUSTON TEXAS
FERNANDO GARZA So you’re paying more for a product that doesn’t work as well as the cheaper one. Untouchable is $4.99, dried better, and looks better up close.
Glass cleaner for the rim?
Yup, works great
Great vid! Hell of a nice Jeep! I'm diggin the coverall more personally! Going to have to pick up a can of this for sure!
Cover all slings on the vehicle
@@r051086t you are correct! Tried and got sling :( I used water based products now
I wonder if you use a thinner layer of Cover All, if it wouldn’t sling at all.
Still slings. It also doesn’t dry as nice as the Untouchable. Just not a better product
Cover All, All day!!
Alonso Uranga Test them side by side.
Cover All didn’t shine as good or last as good.
Christopher Campos No. Didn’t you watch the test? Test them yourself. You can thank me later.
Oh, and after we put Untouchable up against Blue Shine last weekend, Coverall is mow 3rd.
Did you wipe off the excess after spraying the tires?
toneman335 What? You don’t wipe off the excess smfh
Cristal is amazing stuff.
Should have never told him that they sell it at O'Reilly's for $10 I was going to sell it to him for $15 lol
Its$25 or 27 in my country
Cover all shine from o rellys is not the same as the one this guy is using.
His say california.
baleDELgavilan713 Yes it is lol. It’s the same exact company. Read the can. They changed the color of the label but it’s the same stuff smfh
@@EastCoastJeepSRT so thn why the California version costs double the price? Something has to be diff.
Companies do all sorts of marketing in different areas of the country. A good example is when beverages host local sports teams etc. It’s the same product. It’s not bad but it can’t beat Untouchable in price and shine
Carpro perl you will never have any sling looks awesome dilution 1to1
Evidently there's 2 versions of coverall. I get mine directly through Superior Products. For $7.97 a can. It has a darker label and doesn't say California on it. I don't get any sling from it. As far as the spray width he was complaining about... Just spray closer to the tire duh LOL I've been using cover all for 2 yrs now and I absolutely love it !! I have to mail order mine being there isn't any oreilleys in my state.
same here no sling i have to order it to my moms house in Maryland since they wont ship tp Delaware
Is there a dry time on these products? Youndr.ove it immediately after it was applied. What if you let it sit over night would they dry enough so you wouldn't have sling ?
@@CatzAzz 20 minutes
Great video. Everyone appreciates you being their Guinea pig for these products. Thank you.
You're right, my apologies. I just hated the sling and how the tire seemed to get dirtier quicker because of the stickiness of the product.
The reason you're paying $20 for for Cover All is because you're buying the California version of it. Not sure what the difference is between the California version and the original formula but the original formula only costs $10 a can. Up until just recently you could only get Cover All at Oreilly's but i just purchased a can last week at my local Auto Zone.
Unless you can get it for under $4 you’re overpaying for an inferior product
California is the best state in the the entire north america
Sir
What is the product you used on your wheels? My vehicle has black/gray wheels
Thank you
Untouchable by Cristal Products
Your supposed to leave it on for 20 mins. You can also get it for like half price at O'riley's
lol, we actually let it sit longer than that for both just to be sure, and Coverall sucks. It costs more and Untouchable is just better. Oh, and it’s cheaper regardless of where you buy it.
Good job
I've been lookin think I've found what I want
Links for crystal products ?
Untouchable is my go to. It’s great for 5 bucks
Think of how much time he could save if he had a rim cover template he could hold against the wheel to prevent overspray. I hated coverall. It attracts dirt like magnet
try 303 aerospace protectant, its far better and water-based so no sling. It gives you a semi gloss or deep matte look, great product.
What do you mean by sling?
@@lilmario0 sling is where some of the tire shine gets slung off the wheels when you drive, youll notice right after you drive you will see spots on the side of the car where the tire shine flew off
@@PolecatCreekGarage Ah I see. Thanks.
Cover all is $13:99 in nyc at Autozone
Now it is. Look at when this video went up. Still more expensive and worse than Untouchable
I wonder if you can avoid slinging by only spraying one pass it looks like you did two or three.
Great vid! ..now which one to use ? Hmmmm?
Nice video. I'm diggin' those rims. Who makes them and how much?
I forget what I paid but they’re Avant Garde M652s
Appreciate the reply. I may have to clone ya style.😁👍🏿
Where did you spend 20 for the can. I've never spent more then 10$ for it at O'Reilly's
Autozone. Even $10 is too much. I’ll stick with $4 for Untouchable and a better shine. Never using CoverAll again
Nice review! Well articulated Ron! 👍✌!
Coverall-o’reillys 8.50 an can and the other crystal tire shine is only 5 dollars at advance auto
Local parts store sells coverall for 8.99
Superior website sells it for 7.97
Untouchable still works better.
Have you ever tried Street Legal Wet Tire Shine?
The test should include how the Shine holds up after a rain storm or shower ! Does the water wash the shine completely off?
It doesn’t wash off in the rain but after a day or so they both lose a lot of the shine. Rain won’t take it completely off though
The Cover All holds up well after a 🌧
Hey Army, it's Navy, Though my Jeep is not as fast as yours, what is the chance that I get to see that Beast?
Tired look good but i cant deal with the sling for shows they would be cool
You can get coverall at oreillys for 9.00
So you would pay more for a product that doesn’t do as well as Untouchable? 🤷🏻♂️
dura dressing......period
Nope
Is either is these petroleum based?
Where can u buy the untouchable
I have the exact same car & color..
It’s 9 bucks in Texas 🤑
Where do u buy both of them ?
Walmart or online
great job thanks
What wheels are those? 😊
M652’s by Avant Garde
How you like the lexani tires? It was a toss up between those and Achilles gtr.
I like them a lot actually.
Where did you get that shirt 13F?
Had it made .It was my Primary MOS
$20 OMG, I get that At Oriley's for $9 u getting jacked..
Doesn’t matter lol. Untouchable is a better product and you can get it for $4.99 so it not only wins on shine and durability, but crushes it in price.
Nick K Pick up a can and test it. You won’t use Cover All ever again
