I came across your video on Facebook where you and your husband were dancing. I was intrigued and looked you up on you tube. You guys are a cute couple Adanna I admire your strength yet you don't overshadow your husdand. David I admire your tenacity and the fact that you waited for this wonderful woman. You embrace her strength and allow her to BE. I pray God's blessings upon you and wish you a long and happy life together. Peace and blessings from Atlanta Georgia
Hi Adanna: You are definitely welcome. You and David are a beautiful couple and pray God's blessings on you. If you remember to keep God first and keep the lines of communications open between you, you will have a long and prosperous marriage and life.
Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going to have to try this because I've always wanted the dread lock look but dread locks were too permanent for me. But now, I can definitely rock this. Thank you so much.
Gorgeous hairstyle Adanna!! It really suits you! I have 2 requests though, in the near future can you make videos on... 1. HOW TO STYLE FAUX DREADLOCKS 2. HOW TO TAKE DOWN FAUX DREADLOCKS These videos would be most helpful! Thanks a lot
I really enjoyed watching this tutorial. You were very articulate and got to point without the hmm-ing and hah-ing that comes with a lot of tutorials. This was clear and pleasant to watch, so please keep doing what you're doing. The tips at the end were great, too.
You're so so beautiful. Goodness. Pure beauty and all natural! I recently took my faux locs out, but I'm so eager to put it back in. I love your tutorial. Definitely the best I've seen :]. Thank you so so much! ❤
Hi Adanna. Good video. I think I will try this protective style in few weeks. So simple and easy to achieve and your explanation and tutorial are really detailed. Thank you for sharing it with us. I hope I will be able to do it as well as you. Take care and thank you again.
Great video Adanna!! You explained it so well! And it seems easy enough to attempt on my own😀. And I love that you kept the explanations short and sweet and gave us few tips on the specs of the hair and style. I love watching you and your videos! Thank you for this!!!💖👏👏
Great job, the locs turned out gorgeous! I've been wanting to try loc extensions for a while. My concern is how long they actually hold up as far as getting frizzy, unravelling etc. However, I do still plan to try it, but will wait to see your updates and how the hair is actually holding up. Thanks and I look forward to the updates.
Wow!! That is awesome, never seen this before. And the hair style looks AWESOME on you. Can't wait to see some of the different styles you come up with. Please don't forget to show the. Thanks!!!
I was soo afraid of trying this (always stuck with installing Marley twists) but I will definitely be attempting this!!! Thanks for sharing :) you did a GREAT job!!!
This is the best lock install hairstyle that I have seen thus far, minus the burning. I am trying to achieve it without having to burn the hair. Thanks though.
I love your tutorial was a big help I can't wait to finally try this hairstyle in my own hair, I also love the way it looks on you it's very lovely thanks
Ooooi love!!! Your method is so easy to follow. After watching your video once I feel like I can achieve this look! & girl you look amazing w/these faux locs!! Thanks for sharing w/us!! Can't wait to do mine:)
Your hair is beautiful! I really love the faux lock style. A cheaper alternative would be yarn braids. You can braid and wrap the yarn to achieve the same style. I braid my own hair too and I love yarn braids because the yarn is very cheap and I can cut it to whatever length I want. I haven't tried wrapping my yarn braids yet, but people still think I have locks!
GREAT GREAT VIDEO......first of many that actually explains in depth on how to start the dread. SEEMS EASY IM TRYING IT TODAY... how do you make your shea butter....? I need details
Adanna Ohakim Thanks for considering this request Ada..I was about posting same. I luuuuuuuuurrrv ur make up especially ur lipstick( red is ur fav :) )
Thanks Adanna, your video was very helpful. Even though I did not ve to braid the hair like you did but did the African style called "Kiko" from the beginning and did the same finishing you did. Thanks a bunch once more. Much appreciated.
Hi Adanna, I recently came across your wedding video and have been watching most of your other videos, 1st I want to say congratulations and wishing many more beautiful years ahead with your David. 2ndly thank you for this hair tutorial, i will be moving to the US soon and i have been wondering how i will maintain my natural hair cos i love braids.. i will start to learn to braid myself so it can go easy on me when i move. Thanks and God bless.
wow girl u are perfection. u make dreadlocks look seriously good! i remember that in one of ur videos u said u were in medical school...am premed and am still in college. so i was wondering if u could do a video on like stuff to expect in med school... like ur experiences in the hospitals. What year are u in?
This is really great. I don't have the same hair type as you. However, I do believe that this was very informative to helping achieve a more natural dread lock look. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. Even if it was only ONE out of the full head of your awesome looking hair.
I absolutely love love love your locs. It's the best I've seen. I usually do mine with yarn but decided that I wanna try it with marley hair but I don't like the way it looks shiny. How do you get yours to look so frizzy and natural?
Love ur videos.May God Continue to bless you and your husband..Just have a quick question on the flaux tutorial, how do you take them down? Will be great if you can make a video in it.God bless you.
I do this but with just my own hair. I put it in twists then I wrap the Marley hair over it. when I come to the end of my twists I do some extra wraps with a small piece of the Marley hair and take a new strand of Marley hair and continue. When I get to the end I don't even need to burn them. Just wrap the leftovers up and down the loc in an X fashion and roll between your palms to set. If the left over hair at the end is too thick taper it with a razor or scissors. They stay in fine I've never had a loc fall out.
Hi, I love this video you're so pretty and talented ! Do you have a tutorial about starting off, such as sectioning your hair, where to start, how to divide it up along the scalp? thanks!
Lovely, I do have a question though. Is it heavy? My experience with single braids is that they are heavy and I take them down after three weeks, is this comfortable and light?
I love your tutorial. Please could you make a tutorial on how you braid your hair (the first step you did before wrapping). Not many tutorials out there on how to box braid with marley hair. Thanks.
Wonderful einding. I Love this hairstslyle but don't like to do it because of burning the tips and it just keeps spoiling Jackets and Sweater. Thank you and your so simple and real.
Thank you sooo much for this tutorial. This is a style I've been wanting to try and have been told some very lengthy ways to do it. Your tips you included in the description are great ideas too! You're very pretty and your hair came out gorgeous! (New subscriber :-) ) P.S. I agree with a previous comment, that is a beautiful rock! lol
