I’ve been making candles for a year now. I started off gifting them for birthdays, showers, graduation, Christmas etc. and I’ve been getting soooo much great feedback. So i believe I’m ready to start selling.

We actually used Legal Zoom to get our LLC about a year ago. We have been saving all emails from the sellers we buy from. We also saved all the emails from PayPal as well. We decided to build part of the shipping cost into each candle. We also decided to use Shopify. I had to get some help with setting up Shopify. There’s nothing wrong with getting help from someone you know who has those skills you need! We’ve hit some speed bumps and still haven’t launched, however I’m hoping before the beginning to mid Oct. We have not contacted an insurance company yet, because why pay for insurance before you’ve even launched?? Thank you SO much for sharing what you’ve learned, I can’t thank you enough! ❤️

I gave up on the damn candles, because I don't feel confident in them, not sure I ever will :( But, I do feel super confident in my Beard products (and hopefully soap) so this information is still super useful, Thanks :)
Candles are pretty easy once you do research of course there is going to be trail and error but we live and learn after all most people don’t anything about beard products unless they do soap for example 100% soy wax is more difficult to use then say a blend but in the end we just step out in faith

Oh no not at all, I’m happy with my profit margin and I’ve already been saving 25% of every “paycheck” to go towards taxes! I suggest calling a cpa to ask them some questions you’re confused about :)
Hi Erica, sorry to post this question here too (did at your one of your other videos too). As a biz, Shopify i.e. requires you to disclose a physical address. If you manufacture and sell from your home, that's a problem. Did you get a PO Box (not always viewed best way) or a virtual mailbox?
My wicks always fall over and the flame is high. How do I know when I have a quality wick and is it falling over because it’s not trimmed short enough?
