Thank you for highlighting how important it is to network in your local community. As you said, relying on exposure to customers over the internet isn't a good strategy by itself--it makes sense to connect with people who have similar roots to you, otherwise your marketing is at risk of feeling impersonal.
This was so helpful! I just started an e-commerce store and I’m trying to figure out marketing. I’ve been in that mindset where everything has to be perfect. But you’re right. It doesn’t.
Hey I’m from atl too, I’ve been thinking about starting my candle business, but I’m giving myself time to gain more knowledge in the subject and also more practice in the making. Do know of any Facebook groups I could join how do they work? Or where could I look to market local first? If you could give me any piece of advice thank you🤍💗
One month away im so nervous I've been binge watching all of your videos and whether you've heard this prior to now or not YOU ARE SUCH A GIFT !!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for it all . Question because I have no idea what to do lol... I'll be selling wick trimmers but they only fit the dimensions of the bigger box that I've purchased for the orders that include multiples what do I do for ex if they just get a candle + wick trimmer what's the best way to tackle the shipping for the dimension difference
Hi! Thank you soo much and I’m so glad my videos have helped you! In that instance you would need to get another size box (maybe something in the middle of the sizes you already have) that will hold 1 candle + 1 wick trimmer. Sometimes this takes some research and patience to see what is going to work best! Or you may need to use the larger box if nothing else works 🤍
Do you need insurance to do markets?? Do you know or recommend an insurance company? Also, do you need just general coverage or also product coverage??
Can you tell me what kind and where to get tea light wicks appropriate for bees wax. I have a few hives and got a tea light mold but can’t find out which wicks to use. Thanks for the video!
I’m not sure as I’ve never made beeswax tealight candles 🤍 I would try out multiple series of wicks, there’s lots of wicks that are already precut and attached to a metal base, I would try out a few different series of wicks to see what works best!
looking at etsy based on my costs to produce the same candles as everyone, a lot of them or sell ing for up to 300% profit. For me its just a bit of pocket money. but say a candles is selling for £8.00, for me to only make 100% profit I only need to sell for around £3.00. Should I sell for that price or keep in line with everyone else. BTW love your stuff. Can we Chat on whats app got loads I would like ask you. Loving all you videos they have helped me loads.
I have never thought of spreading in the local area
thank you so much

@CrystalValencia-fc5gs research your market. The candle biz is very saturated so get your pricing and product down to a T

I have a question do candles have a shelf life. I have wax that I bought since 2020 and wanted to know if I can still use them.
Thank you for this.
Thank you for watching! ❤️
Can I ask how many sales you get on average in a month? Sorry if it's too invasive! I just want to know what's a reasonable goal for a small business.

Can you do a how to vid for TikTok? I'm so lost & intimidated on that new platform

Yes, it's too much exaggeration in my opinion for one to describe their product in that way. Great tips thanks
How do you handle state and local sales tax at a craft fair?
