Great stuff. Am now unafraid to tackle my 2019 S brake job. One question: what about that c-shaped clip on the front, that we weren't supposed to lose if we're not replacing the wear sensor wire? I couldn't see where you put that back on. Sorry if I missed it. Thanks!

Ok, it's a tiny metal clip shaped like a wavy V. It's the clip that helps hold the sensor inside the brake pad. It's attached to the sensor and pops inside the brake pad. Sometimes, when you pull the clip, it will stay inside the pad or sensor, or it will fall off. After the caliper is installed, I put the metal clip onto the sensor and popped it back into the brake pad.
There is one on the front brakes and one on the rear brakes.

@@ELDESTBuilds Got it! Didn’t realize you’d put the clip on the sensor first before reinstalling onto the calliper. Thanks!

@geoffrideout1728 sometimes it comes off, sometimes it stays on. It has to be on the end of the sensor to stay in the brake pad

Hey! Just wanted to see if you could help me out so I could see if I have everything before starting this project.
Are these all the things I need to do this brake job?
    Brake Package (in your description)
    17mm
    Short 13mm
    17mm spanner
    18mm
    6mm alen
    e14 starbit
    locktite ?
    pliers
    breakerbar
    torque wrench
Extra Grease since I'm not painting?
Thanks so much, I used your video on how to change the oil in a Mini Cooper and it was the most helpful by far out of all the videos I watched.

Looks good, those rear hangers are a PITA.

Sorry, the rear brake piston is a screw in. There's a tool set for that. The other option is a big wrench to turn it.

Thank you again for all your help man. This video truly carried my brake change.
Some bolts just do not want to come off and required a blow torch though 😕
Very informative video, like no other, thanks again. Definitely glad I did it myself, saved a good $400.
