Thank you so much! My wifey is learning so much from your lovely life hack videos and you continue to keep her motivated during her post-pardon depression period. Thx for being so awesome!!!
These are fascinating! You are so clever. My grandmother (born in 1898) taught me so many old fashioned house care routines, including proper bed linens(she had a mangle!) her old icebox was still in the kitchen, used as pantry space. I was fascinated with here almost scientific approach to home care- she explained all to me very seriously- how to butter toast, using baking soda for soft scrubbing, we made jam and something called ‘raspberry vinegar’ which I see is now called a ‘shrub’- a syrup concentrate to make beverages. Anyway, so much love to you. 💕
Definitely do more of these! I found one out a few years ago which totally blows my mind! Have a look at the strap buckles on a backpack and you'll notice there is a whistle built into it. I believe they're only built into backpacks for adults. So imagine hiking and you get lost or injured or if someone is threatening you, you have this built-in whistle to attract attention!
I think that some of these are handy uses that developed after the product was designed... like the juice box tabs, and I think the soda bottle neck is designed to reduce the surface area of the drink touching air to keep carbonation in longer!
Anna Timm I was thinking the same! The soda can tab being used as a straw holder? U could still put a straw down in the opening of the soda can. And I agree w u regarding the carbonation in the soda bottle!
Using the tab on the soda can for your straw keeps the straw from floating up toward the top of the can and possibly falling out of the can when it is full.

The juice box thing works a treat. I learned about it when my eldest was 6mo (he's 9 now and my other son is 7 and they open them this way themselves now - even if you don't hold the tabs as handles it still stops liquid squirting out when you insert the straw). Whenever I am at a gathering and give my kids a juice box I always blow some other mum's mind with how I don't spill them. They really should have a diagram on the box lol.

Thanks Brittany! Im going crazy with wall pockets in my house for shoes in our "entryway" (small/tiny home) trying to follow no shoes in house too. Love your videos
Yes do more! This was fun. I don't know a lot of these. I always thought the little pocket in jeans was for change. Now I want to go buy a pocket watch :)
Hey all. Great video - I have a tip for you to share on your next one! Did you know that Oxo stock cubes in the foil wrappers are meant to have the flaps pulled out until it's the shape of a mini crisp packet / pocket, which gives you space to crush the cube into granules so it dissolves quicker, then open the foil packet and use! To think of all the time I wasted trying to unwrap the foil without knowing I should just make it easier by unfolding it!?
Brittany unfortunately I’m old enough to remember when pen lids first got the hole at the top it made the news here in the UK I knew a lot of these but love hearing the ones I didn’t! 😉
Someone actually swelled a pen lid in my work, a fully grown adult at that & they just made this weird whistling sound - but they could breathe until it was removed!😂🙈
Loved this video! How did I not know that about juice boxes! We’ve had so much squeezed out juice in the car and I have often wondering about the folds on the box and it never clicked LOL Great hack!! 😍❤️
I absolutely love these, Brittany!!! I love learning fun new things. I did not know about the paper, lock, sunglasses, Play-Doh, nor the cloth attached to the spare buttons! So cool! Thank you. 💜
The panty pocket...In junior high I was under the impression it was for tucking a tampon string into so it wouldn't poke out of my underwear...😂 Funny looking back because I was wearing pants too, so why bother. Oh, the joys of youth.
I remember looking at it as a teenager and trying to figure out if my pad went in there. I never did it because I couldn't see how that would make sense, but I did think about it A LOT. 😂
@@mknothe Oh my goodness, this is so funny!! Thank God I never wore a thong!! I might have spent some time wondering what the tiny pocket was for when the thongs are so tiny anyway!! LOL
Interesting, my cheap Walmart underwear actually has the “pocket” sewn shut. Honestly it’s overall better quality than the underwear I used to buy from Victoria’s Secret
What she says is BS, does jpt make sense at all, sewing the cotton onto the main fabric would not even use extra material, they would just saw it on instead of just making a seam... It's there purely for hygienic reason, does not matter if it sewed on or other. You only get more air down there if it's not sewed on so it's actually better for you that way.
Exactly a little research actually will yield that the fabric is their for comfort and hygiene. Of you think it's sealed it's not it's actually not even their because many types of underwear like Victoria Secret is only meant for short periods of time
Very interesting! I'd love to watch more like this. The ones that I wasn't as familiar with were at the beginning of the video...umm...sorry, can't remember. I didn't know about the little drawer on the washing machine. I think I was in my 40s when I learned about the straw in the soda cap opener. 🙄
I didn't know about the wooden hangers, the petrol arrow & the holes in the handles of your cooking pots!!! Cool! I will be not just thinking it's for hanging them now! Thank you xxx
I didn’t know about the wooden hangers, cool. Here is something I learned a few years ago. There are tabs on the ends of the boxes of foil, wax paper, parchment paper, plastic wrap that you push in and they hold the rule in place for when you rip a piece.
Weirdly enough I thought everybody would know abt the shopping cart hack. I use it every single time if not for fragiles then sometimes for my handbag. Love these hacks. Do moreeee! ❤️
Loved this - really interesting. Most useful one that I’d never have thought of was about the car headrests. Here in the U.K. we have all front loading machines so did know that first one and a few of the others.

If you need to break your car windows in an emergency, do not aim for the center, as it’s actually the strongest part. Aim for the edges, instead!
That tip is actually great. If a child is abducted and they have the child safety lock on, this can atleast allow them to scream outside for help.

Angel Serbina Putting the spoon in that hole makes a huge mess on the spoon handle and the pot handle as well. Sounds like a ‘hack’ from Buzzfeed.
@@myozbubble that's what I was thinking. Can you imagine stirring red sauce ( or whatever) and then putting it in the hole. Drip, drip, drip.
Love this video!! So many things that I never knew! Thanks Brittany.
😂😂 That is hilarious and totally makes sense!!
@@mknothe Oh my goodness, this is so funny!! Thank God I never wore a thong!! I might have spent some time wondering what the tiny pocket was for when the thongs are so tiny anyway!! LOL
I actually do this to this day. It's perfect to hide the string.
@@JClover2 I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of it.
Interesting, my cheap Walmart underwear actually has the “pocket” sewn shut. Honestly it’s overall better quality than the underwear I used to buy from Victoria’s Secret
And agreed! I always find the best under clothes at Walmart or JC Penney
@@Larrysbride That makes a lot of sense. Is that, in fact, true?
Walmart has 100% Cotton! :)
These are all so interesting and fascinating! Please do share more. This should be a series! So interesting!
I didn’t know about the wooden hangers, cool.
Here is something I learned a few years ago. There are tabs on the ends of the boxes of foil, wax paper, parchment paper, plastic wrap that you push in and they hold the rule in place for when you rip a piece.
Melanie Ross cool thanks for sharing
Melanie Ross the ends on boxes are to hang out as well 😊
Not all wooden hangers are made from cedar. 🙌🙌🙌😺
As a cop.. yes, women do use that pocket in their panties to hide things 😂 from experience in searching some real gems incident to arrest!
Weirdly enough I thought everybody would know abt the shopping cart hack. I use it every single time if not for fragiles then sometimes for my handbag. Love these hacks. Do moreeee! ❤️
Same! I hang a bag there so my toddler can put items in and help me whilst shopping.
I see people using the hooks all the time where I live. I am in Canada...
I would love to see more videos like this. Very informative info! Thank you for sharing. Carter is adorable!!❤️😊

Loved this - really interesting. Most useful one that I’d never have thought of was about the car headrests. Here in the U.K. we have all front loading machines so did know that first one and a few of the others.

Loved it, learned a lot. I’d like to see more.
I found your video very interesting, but I wanted to thank you because even when I subscribed because of the cleaning and organizing stuff you are always finding ways to make your videos different and trying new things too without been afraid of what people might say, although I think pretty much everyone loves you, because you are a wonderful person!
Me: *Goes and immediately checks washing machine.*
Me too but before I watched the entire clip and water poured out everywhere
I have no special door on my washer. :-(
