Shout out to your hubby for being such a trooper. His participation and support in your work is commendable - always with a smile. Thanks for the tips. My favorite ones were the pistachio and the bandaid trick. Keep them coming.
I'm 65 years old, 5'1", and I never noticed the seat belt button in cars. I actually thought, "My car probably doesn't have this option", but there it was!! THANK YOU, B!
I can’t believe how old I am and how many of these I just learned today! Thank you so much!!!! I’m sharing your video with all my grown children via text so they won’t have the same realization 30 years from now😜
Thank you, Brittany! Talking about pistachios: do you know you can actually open them using their same shell? Just take half of a shell (one of a pistachio you previously opened easily) and use it as a lever putting it in the gap of the shell of another pistachio and turn it a little bit. It works super well: I use this trick even to open pistachios with a small crack. I hope it was clearly explained and that this trick can be useful. My usual disclaimer: English is not my mother tongue, so I always apologize in advance for any eventual mistake :)
I totally vouch for this hack, I’ve been do this for years. I figured it out when my husband is too impatient to open the ones w/ small openings, he tosses those back in the bag. He always manages to snag up all the easy ones, and leaves me the ones w/ tiny slits… MEN can be sooo lazy.
Someone needs to give Ryan an Oscar…. Him eating popcorn reminded me of an infomercial 😂🤣 always great content here! Happy holidays I shared the video via email
I'm literally sitting in the driver seat of my car on my lunch hour watching this video when I see your tip about adjusting the seatbelt. So I look over my shoulder and Wow! You're so right! My seat belt does adjust! So now I know. I adjusted it immediately and my seat belt fits better! Thank you!!!
I shared this by email with my mom because every time she cooks anything on the stove it boils over! everything was genius...robe, bandaid, tennis shoes, towel to remove smoke, popcorn...I could go on! lol thanks Brittany for always putting out such helpful & well-researched videos. I always look forward to each one of them. Merry Christmas!
I found the part about finding a stud very interesting. I never knew that. Also about the pot & silver spoon, awesome. As well as the smoke in the house using a wet towel. I'll be using all of these & more. Ty so much. I shared this on FB. I'm probably to late but still gd tool's to use.
@@vasseurbeauty Your hubby is so funny! The first hack when you talked about the robe and you said "things popping out" 😂 lol, I'm so glad you put your husband in there for illustration purposes, the end was that segment was hilarious.
@@vasseurbeauty - also for the avocado trick, make salt water for it instead of just plain water. It has a benefit of giving the avocado a little bit of flavor as well, but if you don't want it salty just use a little bit of salt, the salt helps the avocado last longer and it still won't brown as fast.
Everything except the seat belt info was new to me! I learn something new every day. I sent my daughter a text with the link. My favorites were: squeezing the pistachio shell, flipping the pan over the egg, wooden spoon on top of the boiling pot, swinging the wet towel to clear the smoke and the popcorn one. I appreciate all the research you do for us!
Lol stud finder was hilarious and the avocado tip I'm amazed by. The bandaid trick looks helpful and secure. Thanks! The wet towel in the kitchen to fan away smoke or odors is probably the first one I'll end up using though. (I grill onions in an unfriendly onion home lol.)
I genuinely had never heard of some of these and they're brilliant! And your husband cracks me up...I love that he doesn't take himself too seriously!!
I have been putting the opening of my travel/neck pillow towards the back for YEARS. I find it doesn't hurt my neck that way, and my head doesn't flop forward and wake me up. So much more comfortable!
Shared this with my bff, blowing my mind as always Brittany. I love Ryan modeling the robe 😂 really digging having him throughout the videos as opposed to just at the end.
This is my 3rd or 4th time watching your "Everyday things you could be doing wrong" video-- and I picked up even more wonderful tips after today's viewing! Especially that moist towel to get rid of smoke smell! Thanks so much for all of your hard work to bring funny yet informative hacks!
Hi Brittany - 2 things - remote controls can be placed into a used throw away plastic wrapper and this protects it from the grease on your hands. Use a bit of sticky tape to hold in place when placed into the sleeve. Like say your kids once use only sandwich bag- after cleaning it of course. 2. you can buy a BBQ / oven mat that can be used on the griller / baking tray etc and it lasts 150-500 times. Saves using all that once only foil wrapping / baking paper.
Brittany, this was a great tips video! Let's give a hand to Ryan for his humor and I loved you dancing in the kitchen. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. Love y'all.
The robe hack is absolutely my favorite!! Who knew?! Thanks for these great tips and hacks! Shared on Twitter and in a text to my Mom and sisters! They are going to love these!! Your content is always on point! 😊
Yeah, but then it will take you a longer time to get in and out of your robe. I am ok with tying it a different way while it is in the loops the original way.
I shared this right away - sent it via text to my friend, Syd - after tip 1 because we were talking about how annoying bathrobes are for that exact reason just last week!! It’s almost my favorite because I’ve shied away from wearing robes because of how annoying retying them is, but now I can bust out my cozy robes and lounge in them, annoyance free! The Hello Fresh meal kit is a favorite tip, too! Especially using your discount code! That’s a great deal that I’ll definitely be taking advantage of! Thank you for the giveaway! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Ryan looks like a Samurai in the new way to tie his robe. Also...you can open a pistachio with one of its own shells. (They are very strong, and They look like fingernails anyway. 😂 )
Love this video!! And I was so excited to share this one with my Mom. She always loves little tips and tricks!! My favorite was the popcorn trick. I can't believe I didn't realize that! Thanks a million!🥰🥰
Always awesome tips! I shared with my mom as I know she'll be interested in some of your hacks. Also, I knew Ryan would have to make an appearance as soon as studfinder was mentioned, glad I wasn't disappointed haha! XD
Just Started watching and I love it I’m always learning new things around the house garden or whatever I’m passing it onto my daughter because this is something she’s really going to enjoy thank you Brittany
I only use the blow dryer about twice a year. Never been a fan because of the smell so maybe this is why it smells. 🤔 I will clean it. Thank you. You never had your partner on your videos before. You both are so GORGEOUS. Nice to see that he is supporting you. Love your nails like always. Will look up to see if you have any new videos on where you are getting them from.
These tips are great! Hard to pick a favorite, but I know they will serve me well. That said, I love the tip on how to tie or secure your robe so it doesn't come untied (so annoying)! Appreciate all the tips...love the avocado tip too! Sharing these tips with my sister via email.
Seriously, I only knew the spoon one. I’ve been doing the travel pillow one but felt like I was being judged for wearing it forward lol. Your videos keep getting better and better 👍🏽. Had to share this with my aunt via text and two of my closest friends on IG. So good not to share 🥰
I shared this video with my daughter, Alexandra. I found these tips extremely helpful even though I have kept my own home for over 30 years there were tips I didn’t even know! Thanks so much!!!
Thanks Brittany for the opportunity to win this amazing prize! I adore all your hacks and tips and always share them with my mom and gal pals! Hi Brittany!! Merry Christmas & HNY to you, Ryan, & your babies! Love all your content. I hope the next year will bring success & joy. Especially with your new business!
Shared with my daughter. I knew about the deodorant & spoon but you’re never too old to learn new tricks!! My husband bought me a new robe. The whole family will appreciate & thank you for this hack
Thanks Brittany, loved all your tips & the bandaid one will come in very handy ; ) Am sharing these with all my girlfriends. The Hello Fresh reminder & discount is also appreciated. Gave me the idea of gifting meals to my parents for X-Mas! Happy Holidays! P.s. your husband is hysterical 😂
Loved all of these - and shared with my husband because a few of these he will help him this week!! But the bathrobe one is MY fav! I’ll be using that TODAY. Also, I’m sorry you feel like you’re not getting great engagement on this video… I love your tips and with Covid in NYC, you’re keeping me uplifted and entertained!!
The shoes in the dryer and the pop corn bag tips blew my mind!!!!🙉😍 Also loving how casually Ryan cracks me up EVERY SINGLE TIME!😂😂😂 Edit: I shared this video with my mum via email cuz she doesn’t have any social media 😅
The stud finder is such a popular dad joke, I don't think any dad can resist🤣! The band aid trick is my favorite tip. I shared the vid on Facebook 😁❤🎄❤.
Hi Brittany, another great video. I loved the stopping boiled water from boiling over by placing wooden spoon on top of the pot. I shared this on Pintrest under Household Hacks. 😊

Shared this with a friend who just had a baby and and could some meal-planning simplicity in her life. Love all the other great hacks you shared in this video as well. Love this video! Love all your videos and Ryan’s cameos crack me up. I shared and sent to my moms email. I think she’ll appreciate it, as did I. So many good tips, I’m excited to try the avocado tip! I’ve previously used your code for Hello Fresh and we enjoyed it!! We had some really yummy meals! Thank you!! ☺️

Hello Fresh is Wonderful! We 💗it too! Takes the guesswork out of dinner and eliminates the chore of shopping for food. Wee with the money. Great selection of meal. Thanks for all the helpful tips! Enjoyed the Video.

Wow that seat belt hack is going to be so helpful for me! I'm only 4'11" :D Great video as always Brittany! I shared this with my family through email and WhatsApp
The deodorant one is a big no no! Don’t sleep with something blocking your glands. Big cancer risk. Specially using the regular dove or alike brands 😱 no no no.
These tips are so useful. The top one for me is finding the stud. I have a lovely old shelf unit to hang but had no confidence that it’d stay on the wall. Now I know what I’m looking for, thank you. Shared with my 4 daughters on our group chat.
I shared via email with my Bestfriend. My favorite part is the travel pillow trick. That trick also prevents “Tech Neck”! Thank you Brittany for all you bring to us.
I shared this video with several friends via text And my favorite tip was the how to open pistachio nuts. I also loved the bandage trick and the damp towel to dissipate smoke. Thanks 😊
LOVE LOVE learning these things!! Gurlll I was doing all this stuff wrong for YEARS!!!!! I shared on Facebook!!! My favorite was the robe tie one.. didn't know to put it in the back...No damn wonder I felt naked half the time!!!! Thank you smart lady!!!!
Great tips! I shared with my hubby and my Dad. They're both foodies, and for my Dad I want to help him make life easier for himself with these tips. I bet the avocado one and the smoke one will be his favorites. I liked so many, it's hard to choose my favorite. Maybe the seatbelt one because I'm so short! But also the smoke, hairdryer, and avocado ones are great!
Hi Brittany! I hope I am not late 😞 but I shared this with my husband. He lovesss popcorn but hates eating some of those kernels.. but after seeing this he now knows what to do. All thanks to you! Thank you for your generosity! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Hello Fresh really is *worth it*! I used your code years ago to try it out and literally learned "how to cook" by cooking the meal kits. My confidence in the kitchen made a complete 180 and now I can whip up anything with or without a Hello Fresh kit. 🙌🥂
I shared it on Twitter. My favorite thing in the video that I didn’t know was how to dissipate smoke with the half wet towel! Please keep these types of videos coming!
Clever girl. Some really good ideas as usual. I wish I had known about the wooden spoon years ago. The damp towel and avocado also. I love avocado mixed in ice cream but half of one is enough for a single helping.
Great tips!! Btw you can also store cut avocado in a container with a piece of cut onion and it also stays perfectly fresh for days without discoloration.
LOL, love the relationship you have with your husband....a beautiful fit in every way! Gives me hope again. Also, you are my You Tube FAVORITE!!!! Everything so useful and I use it!!!! Keep being awesome!!!
Better late than never! Tons of tips worth sharing!! The pistachio tip!! YES!!! But totally loved the robe, towel trick and the POPCORN!!! My gosh I have coworkers that will thank you!!! The shoe drying.... genius! The pillow!! Just let me say THANKS for all the tips!!!
This video was amazing for me. The blow dryer and Meal delivery were the only ones I knew. I did comment another no fail pistachio opening. Us older folks who can't pinch them and everyone will slay the ones that only have a slit. Thank you for posting.
I came upon this randomly and had to subscribe! Why? This woman gets right TO IT! I’m so sick of videos that could be half as long if they just shut off the long, long, LONG monologue and get to it! I love you!!
The opening in the popcorn bag is to ventilate it and let it expand as kernels pop, but it is a neat trick someone thought of to dispose of unpopped kernels. 😃

Hello Fresh really is *worth it*! I used your code years ago to try it out and literally learned "how to cook" by cooking the meal kits. My confidence in the kitchen made a complete 180 and now I can whip up anything with or without a Hello Fresh kit. 🙌🥂
Shared via text & the tips I was most excited about were the popcorn, the avocado, the seatbelt and the hair dryer... so genius!
I loved the top about placing an avocado in water. Clever!
Great tips!! Btw you can also store cut avocado in a container with a piece of cut onion and it also stays perfectly fresh for days without discoloration.
You guys got a sense of humor your husband's funny thank you for the tips blessings 😊
I shared this with my mom…she loves life hacks and I love making things easier for her!
Aww, so thoughtful.. blessings 😍 Continue , she’s worthy.. she’s your Mama 😊
LOL, love the relationship you have with your husband....a beautiful fit in every way! Gives me hope again. Also, you are my You Tube FAVORITE!!!! Everything so useful and I use it!!!! Keep being awesome!!!
The bandaids. Hallelujah!! Thank you!!!
Sharing with my sister. The Avocado tip is helpful as they tend to turn color so fast.
Shared via text with my best friend that loves hacks and organizing as much as me! Loved the popcorn one! Never heard of it before. Genius!!
Great video. Rubbing a drop of lemon juice around avocado then wrap works too. Ryan is hysterical! My face was the “looking for a stud.” 🤪🤣🤣🤣
Mind blown! The popcorn bag and wet towel to get rid of smoke were my favs! Shared this by email to my sister!
The travel pillow is the one for me. My arms and hands fall asleep when I use one. Now I’ll try again the other way. Thanks
I couldn't believe how I was doing so many things wrong. I loved it so much I had to share with 4 girls and 2 men they love the hacks on drying shoes
This video was amazing for me. The blow dryer and Meal delivery were the only ones I knew. I did comment another no fail pistachio opening. Us older folks who can't pinch them and everyone will slay the ones that only have a slit. Thank you for posting.
These are great especially the avocado as I’ve wasted many halves.Cold water and a tin and left outside 👍going to try it out.Thank you for your tips 🎉
I shared this on Facebook! The first tip is my favorite, how to tie a robe so it will stay closed. Brilliant!
I came upon this randomly and had to subscribe! Why? This woman gets right TO IT! I’m so sick of videos that could be half as long if they just shut off the long, long, LONG monologue and get to it! I love you!!
So many good tips! The avocado one is genius! I shared with both of my sisters and my mom!
Finding the studs in a wall..... strong magnet will find the nails/screws. Easy peasy
The opening in the popcorn bag is to ventilate it and let it expand as kernels pop, but it is a neat trick someone thought of to dispose of unpopped kernels. 😃
