      Thanks! I fish Mörrum in May with a 13,7 ft rod and 9# line. The rest of the year I use a 12,6 ft rod and 9# line. It works fine for me but of course you can use other gears to. I say 11-14 ft rod and 8#-11# line will do the job. Shorter rod and lighter line in summer and autumn. /John

    John.But what setap you use for summer and autumn fishing?Lines,liders,tipet?Flies?
    And may bee some words about tactic in this period?

      Hi, It's often low water in the Mörrum river in summer/autumn so I normally use a floating belly and a floating or intermediate tip + always a polyleader tip (fast sink). Flies is no problem as I only use two types of flies in Mörrum: Goldeneye or JH-socken. You can see tying instruction on videos on my channel. Tactic? Well I move around a lot, fishing every small current. I think it's better to fish a spot fast and maybe come back again an hour or so later to try again than fishing the same spot over and over again. /John

    Question: this summer aprox 14th august I want to fish on this river. What the weight of the leader you use? Floating 10FT FLT or medium sinking 5 FT T-14?

    Hi John.One question. In your videos I meny times see movement with rod apstreaam and back, ( not mending,)and after is take! Its specialy?

    • @DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg
      @DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg  6 лет назад

      Hi, Just the way I like to fish. I think a little extra movement in the fly may trigger a reaction from the fish. Definitely works for me. /John

      okay thanks :) , do you think a switch rod 11 #8 is strong enough for mòrrum ?

    • @kkwee3678
      @kkwee3678 6 лет назад

      or even a 11f #6 switch

    • @DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg
      @DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg  6 лет назад

      Hi, 11 and #8 will work fine. I normally use a 12,6 9# in summer and autumn. /John

      @DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg  6 лет назад

      Hi, I don't think this is a good idea. You might land most of the fish in summer and autumn but if you consider C&R you should step up to heavier gear. /John
