My remote wasn’t working at all. After going through all the trouble shooting advice here, I ultimately ended up turning off the soundbar manually for a minute and then turned it back on manually and the remote worked perfectly again? 😂
After my 1yo son played with it, it wasn't working anymore. Thank you very much, I tried everything I could except turning off/back on the sound bar, it's now working perfectly as well. I've just canceled my amazon order replacement.
Yes, you can reboot your Q950A soundbar using the remote. Just press and hold the "Power" button on the remote for about 5 seconds. The soundbar should turn off and then back on, restarting the system.
Just got an LG C3. I cannot get the LG remote to control the Samsung soundbar. I have tried both HDMI/ARC and optical. I really don't want to jump between remotes to control the TV and the volume. Any suggestions? They would be most appreciated as both LG and Samsung support have been no help. Each blames the other (of course)
Have you tried checking for a universal remote setting on the LG remote? It might help control the Samsung soundbar. Also, diving into the TV settings for any remote control or HDMI-CEC options could be worth a shot. These settings can sometimes enable better control over connected devices.
Watched your entire video, only to say to seek professional help, have you tried dealing with Samsung customer service tech, not really good, hard to understand and they want to sell you something else

have you tried making sure the cord is an arc cord? we had the same issue using an older cord in the arc ports
