- If your Samsung Frame TV / Smart TV remote is not working and the red light is blinking on the remote, you can fix it with this video.
There are fixes for your remote if the red light blinks once or if it blinks 3 times or more after pressing a button, or when charging.
This is specific to the modern Frame and Solar remotes from Samsung and is usually related to your remote failing to pair with your TV using its Bluetooth capabilities.

i tried several methods but my TV is showing "Not Available" every time i tried to pair, the only thing the remove does is to on and also off the TV, i need solution
There is a problem with my TV 65QN900C that the remote control works via IR from the sofa, but when I am close to the screen it works via BT, I only move away 2m and it disconnects again.
This has been happening for a few days, previously the remote control worked via BT without any problems at a distance of 5-7 m from the TV. Now I can't control it other than via IR. I tried to factory reset the remote control, but after pairing via BT it works normally with the TV, and when I move away it switches to IR mode again. Nothing is blocking the signal. Any advice? Other BT devices work normally when connected to the TV.

My remote blink (when I use the camera to see it). But it doesn’t respond with the TV. I’ve tried to reset it. With return+play/pause, return+enter and return+multi views. I’ve pulled the TV and waited 10 seconds.
I’ve tried everything and it doesn’t work. Has anyone been this far with the problem as I have?
I’ve had the same problems. Bought the exact remote for my tv it was bloody $100 bucks. It blinks red , holds a red light while charge. I’ve reset my remote holding the back and multi views I’ve unplugged my tv for 5 minutes then tried to re pair with the back and play I’ve even tried to re pair with the back and up buttons cause I read that worked. Still nothing. I thought it was my remote was faulty so I got a replacement and it’s still not working. So bloody annoyed by it. I bought the tv new in 2022
@@qubarobbie8467 Interesting. I reset the TV after talking to a guy from Samsung and yet the remote didn't work. So I've ordered a new one - hope it will work. Yeah, I bought the Frame in December 2023. But your TV works now?
My TV remote light has been fastly and constantly blinking for hours. Nothing works and cannot reset it. TV works fine if unplugging and plugging but can't get remote to do anything at all. None of the options works for me and i even tried the addition suggestions from Samsung... So discouraged...

This video was 9 minutes too long. None of it held. Just walk over to your TV when the light is blinking red just hold it right at the bottom of the TV not even an inch away and it should work. It took a day and a half. But I got that son of a gun!!!

All good info. above. I had the same problem of 2 un-paired, non-functioning solar remotes, blinking/flashing red lights that, after 1 week of hard/soft resets and auto/manual attempts at reconnection, would never re-pair by any means until I used my android phone to first make a bluetooth connection to the remote -- which somehow switched the remote to again use its IR signal mode and then it again functioned to control the SmartTV.
1. Put the remote to the pairing mode by holding down the return and pause button
2. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone (i have android but have been told it works from iphone also)
3. Connect to the "Smart Control 2016" and press "pair"
The smartphone should now remember your remote and switch the remote to its IR mode.
It could take several attempts for phone's bluetooth scan to find the remote -- but after bluetooth connetion to the phone, it will function on the TV.
