I find that all Summer Fridays lip products miss the mark. The butter balms are juicy looking if you apply a significant amount, but they add zero hydration to the lips. Dare, I say, they are basically drying. The lip oils give the same ending result. I find the more translucent pink cloud goes on slick and feels nice, but once it wears off, my lips feel worse than before application. The other three colors had too much pigmentation and felt/looked more like thin, liquid lipsticks. The thin and slickness of the product automatically travels outside the liplines. What's the point of a lip oil that you can't just throw on and go?
I love all of your sephora hauls! Can you please try to film a video series and every video covers a different makeup step (primer, foundation concealer, etc;) and tell us what are your favorites and what you recommend? Thanks so much I LOVE your videos 🫶

The Sephora Collection concealer is beautiful! It's so skin like and light weight, which is what I'm really liking these days for foundation/concealer. So glad I got it, plus the $15 price is great!

I picked up the Prada Hyper Matte lipstick in B02 Quarts because, like a total simp-I was obsessed after I saw Sophia Ritchie Grange wear it and the color looked so good I immediately snagged it😂 I dont regret it, it’s a gorgeous color!
I recently bought the Nudestix blush in hot fire. Red is such a natural color on the cheeks and this one is perfect, not too orange not too pink. Blush is my soft spot, I have way too many but keep expanding my collection😂
Hi Morgan! Thanks for weighing in on these products. 💜 The last things I got from Sephora were the Summer Fridays lip oil in rosewood nights and the KVD foundation balm (normally I’m not really a KVD girlie but it was 50% off so I decided to give it a try!). 😊
I already knew that I was going to end up grabbing the Summer Fridays oil, but that foundation sample kit and the Sephora highlighter both caught my eye. I honestly may grab those first because I love a more natural highlight and always have a hard time finding a good foundation match.
From Sephora I brought the new Givenchy powder. I love how it sets my under eye concealer! Also brought a Canopy shower head that made a diffrence in my skin that's noticeable, I really love it! Enjoyed the video.
Summer Fridays are so overpriced. And I normally don’t say that about brands sold at Sephora/mecca (Mecca is a beauty retailer in Australia that was here before Sephora so they have exclusivity contracts with brands like HG, summer Fridays etc that wanted to sell in Australia before Sephora came here. L) The lip balm from them is $38 AUD that’s insane. I’m willing to pay like $25-30 for a lip balm but $38 just seems steep ($30 AUD to is $20 usd and $38AUD IS 25USD for reference) (for reference Laneige lip mask is $30Aud)
We also include tax in our prices so things always seem 10% more expensive then the direct conversion of USD to AUD. For example Natasha denona palettes in the US are $69 + 10% tax (I think it varies state to state in the US idk) but they’re sold here for $115 or $75 USD
$45 was a good price for those items in that kit.. a lot of popular brands. Although I don’t get the Danessa Myricks “balm powder “ 🤨 i’ve never heard of a powder that’s balmy. I think our girl Danessa has some explaining to do. The reason I’d love to watch these videos is to find out what’s new and make up. I had a return today in Sephora. I find myself just walking around completely lost and not really focusing on anything because it’s so overwhelming. Plus, my Sephora on Long Island is a mess in my opinion …. All of the testers are gross, broken eyeshadows, empty testers, Messy dirty cream products. It’s a turn off . Like I said, I also get overwhelmed by playing instead of concentrating on what I’m there to purchase, so I’d rather do it online .

I picked up the Sunday Fridays lip balm in Vanilla and the Merit Beauty cream eyeshadow in Vachetta in store a few weeks back. I thought about walking in there last week, but it was so packed. I didn’t really want anything and the thought of browsing in that place was just too daunting.

The hourglass, Victoria Becham and Pat Mcgrath all have extremely similar pencil packaging and style. They even come with the same german made sharpener. ( germany is famous for their high quality artist grade pencils and sharpeners) . I wonder if their labs are the same or share a manufacturer. Because that's one of the first thing I noticed.

I LOVE the summer Fridays butter balm, it was so moisturizing but I did not like their lip oil! It dried my lips out. Whatever minty additive they had in their was super drying to me.
I’m just curious what type of foundation do you wear? Do you wear neutral warm or cool because my skin tone is very close to yours and I’ve done the test but sometimes the neutral doesn’t work for me, so I’m just curious what you tend to use.
I don’t know if I would purchase the $10 foundation sample bag because they look like one and done packets. When I buy online and choose my samples, I always go for the foundations, but I have to admit they are becoming more like swatches than a sample .. some of them, you could not even have enough product for a decent Swatch. Yet others, you will get the little circle full of foundation that you could get two full face wearings out of it. That’s what is true sample should be. Not a ridiculous swatch in between two pieces of foil… It’s no different than when we are trying to pick out a paint color for a room in our house and we’re choosing it from a 1 inch square, hard to imagine the big picture.. Anyway, as always, thank you for showing us all your new stuff .

13:28 I have to agree about the lip liner. Burned my lips. Horrible product, in my opinion. The shade was lighter than my lip color, so it kinda gave me concealer lips.
Every other video is from Sephora! If there any way to appeal to a broader audience who couldn’t afford Sephora products? In these times it’s hard to afford these high end products.
