I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been at this for 3 hrs. I can’t seem to get the vertical look to function properly as well as the key frame camera not making the neck and head disappear. I’ve even made sure to group the head and camera.
Not sure what the problem is. Maybe try the vertical movement again, usually there's something someone misses, but get right the second time, same with the disappearing head. Also the upload on the dreamiverse is still available if you can't get everything working properly.
no matter how much i try to do this tutorial i can not get this stupid thing to work its so annoying every time i try to use any tutorial in dreams i'm always so annoyed at this how it seems everyone else can do it so easily. I have the ideas its just 3 years isn't enough practice.
@@butterboikrustenfass2839 Select the head and camera with X, there is an option to group them on the right side of the screen. Make sure you're scoped in to the puppet, or else you'll just group it with the puppet itself
you might have made the 'timer' used for vertical movement the wrong type, it make sure it's speed. Other version's will move the head to one position only.
Thank you very much my friend this is awesome. Though i had problems in functionality and so i used yours and its great! A quick question, how to set a lower movement of the camera while walking? And also how to change the speed of walking, cause its not changing with the way it should..
Do you mean the FPS template they have or the video tutorial? The super simple video version works only for first person view but not FPS or related mechanics. i.e If you add a torch to the head, the torch will not point at where you look with the camera on the y axis, same goes for a targeting reticule. You need the head to move up and down with the camera, like in the above video, for any FPS related mechanics to work
This is great! I got my Puppet all nice and personalized now with your FPS template. Thanks!

Media molecule have a blank puppet with first person view you can get off the search tab
What song is that, it’s hella catchy
Dude, your videos are awesome! Keep up the good work, your videos will definitely come in handy as soon as I have enough money to buy dreams hahah
Thanks, I make them to help people so glad you'll be able to use them.
i would love to see more about first person like, how to have a option to run n walk or connecting items (like a flashlight or sum) with the character
Why all those cuts? It’s a turtorial ffs and you say DONT DO THIS but then you do it and you delete stuff youve made 30 sec before wtf??
Easy to follow, and I ended up making a functional first person camera. Thanks!
i don’t understand what’s wrong. every time i move, the camera goes back to third person, but when i stop, it goes back to first. any ways to fix?

brief, informative, clear - perfect! Thanks so much!
The camera doesn't move with the head as i rotate it for the keyframe
The camera needs to be grouped in with the head
@@useablehamburger7660 oh okay could you tell me how it works? I'm new to dreams😅

@@useablehamburger7660 okay thx man😁
I got it to work but it's kinda buggy and now I cant get them to look forward again the idle position keeps the head facing up

or you could just move the camera distance to 0 and make it so the puppet follows where you look and force posession..
That'd work pretty awkwardly and wouldn't be as solid as this example.
@@useablehamburger7660 yea honestly i can tell after finishing the rig
I've tried to make this and I've at it for 5 whole hours and all I've made is some headless dude who can go in circles
You didn't show it in action. Uhhhh
Thanks man I appreciate your help
Cool but uhh why didn't you just use negative values for left and down instead of adding two more movers? 2 instead of 4.
Works great, I just had to tweak the actual puppets settings to make it smoother, but other than that thanks a lot!
How did you make it smoother?
Nachi Kahn L1 and square on the puppet to open its menu and I edited all the various sliders until the camera didn’t shake anymore
Thanks man. Took me a couple tries but got it to work!!!
I am you 100 liked PERSON!!!
How do you open the menu at 1:30?
L1 square on ps4
Thanks i learned some useful things👍😁

How can I stop the wobble?
Do u know how?
How do you turn on force possession?
In the controller senser, go to the last page of tweaks, it'll be there
it doesn't work at all 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
if you can't get it to work, I'd suggest using the version i uploaded on dreams.
The Dreams Tutorial that Media Molecule made for First Person is 100000000x easier than whatever this is

Do ai tutorial
