Nice to know I'm not the only one with parent issues. While the Bible says Honor your mother and father, there are some parents who don't earn it. Making a baby doesn't entitle someone to love and respect. That has to be earned.

Agreed. I hate to say this, but most people who have kids really had no business having any. And regardless, there s/b mandatory parenting classes/certification.

AMEN x's INFINITY...and beyond! Do you have a Google Plus account. I have a community called A*K*I*P*'s (Adult Kids of Irresponsible Parents) 4 Abortion.
My mother is of the opinion that she is *UTTERLY GUILTLESS* in the whole situation. Everyone else's fault but hers and I am making every effort to dissuade my siblings of that woman's guilt tactics. How Kids are to blame for their parents' sexual irresponsible behavior is news to me.

@@ItWILLbeWONDERFUL_THERE There comes a time in a person's life where you press on and forget the past .
I don't know of one HAPPY AND ADJUSTED person who holds malice in their heart.

This is one of a number of episodes dealing with hypnosis. Another recurring plot device is the use of pills--where a person has to take pills at a certain time or when they have an attack or episode. Usually doesn't turn out well for the pill taker on these shows, lol. Also I've noticed the episodes by Sam Dann will have recurring names, one in particular is "Melisande". Not all that common a name but it pops up in several episodes he wrote. Always wondered if it was someone he knew and loved perhaps.

    Intro 00:00 - 2:54
    Act 1. 4:50 - 17:22
    Act. 2. 19:22 - 32:11
    Act 3. 34:09 - 48:25
Good episode! I wasn't as engaged as other eps, so it was a little slow going. Also, a bit sad for me. I actually liked Mark and had no sympathy for the father at all.

Thank you so much for the timestamps! Normally I enjoy the old commercials along with the show but this time I was impatient and just wanted to stay with the story.
About Mark though: Not saying either one of us is right or wrong, we just have different perspectives. I found Mark marginally more likable than his father or the loansharks but he cares for no one but himself and there's no one he won't use and throw under the bus; Marjorie is the only character I really liked.

Wow! This guy Mark resonates so close to my brother: a spineless & $-grabbing parasitic leech. And yes, he too hates our father.
