Midtronics PBT 300 Conductance Battery Tester

We bought a PBT 300, tested it with a $400 fluke meter and the results were dead on. Excellent video. 👍

HOW TO OPEN A MIDTRONICS PBT-300 BATTERY TESTER
The tools you will need :
1. Heat gun or hair dryer
2. A # 1 phillips head screw driver
3. A pointed pick or a flat head jewelers screw driver
STEP 1
Lay the meter on a flat surface face up
STEP 2
There are 2 screws on each end of the meter holding the meter together.
The top one is above the display, the bottom one is under the model number
Using the head gun or hair dryer heat the top label and use the pick to lift one corner of the label.
Then peel the label back using the heat gun or hair dryer until the screw is exposed.
Do the same with the bottom label.
Step 3
Unscrew the 2 screws and the meter will come apart.
To put the meter back together:
Step 1
Put the cover together and reinstall the screws
Step 2
Test the meter to insure its working
Step 3
Heat the decals with the heat gun or hair dryer and press them back in place.
Your done !
