Absolutely....food delivery is a honest hard earned monies. I tried doing deliveries once during the festive seasons just to experience it. No joke at all though I drove round the Island.

Yes...mine was heavier stuff. Average I earned Sgd120 from 10+ deliveries (pick all at 1 go). More to experience life of a delivery man
As a foodpanda full-time rider in Penang, Malaysia, the rainy season and peak lunch/dinner hours are the times for us to find more orders. I work for 13 hours a day (halal products) I can get about 25-30 orders. Estimated salary is around RM 130-160 ( SGD 40-50) depending on the delivery distance of the order.love from Malaysia 🇲🇾

Good to see you appreciate us. I am one of the Fulltime Grab riders in Philippines. The fare matrix is too low nowadays. I hope the management will do something for that as they called us as a partner but they are not giving what is right to their partner riders.

This is just common sense, u have so many riders obviously the pay will be small. The more riders, the smaller the pay. They call u partners because you are not a permanent staff but like a freelancer. U want higher pay? Tell other riders to leave or find a better delivery job like Pizza Hut

Not all deliverymen are able of body btw. I ordered via Food Panda once and it took some time for the delivery. When the delivery man arrived, I was shocked and in disbelief. He was making the delivery in his motor wheelchair.
I didn't know what to think (I wasn't aware of Food Panda's hiring policies) but went out and took the food out of the box, then thanked him. We chatted for a while.
I'm not comfortable with that situation. I felt I was placing an unnecessary burden on him although it's good he's making a living. But did it have to be making deliveries, rain or shine, in his motor wheelchair?

It his choice. This people always are stronger person in heart and will power. some work in a/c , good salary, good body but complaints so much and keep frustated all the time. They should learn and listen..
Even with a fast motorbike, you'll definitely still meet customers that will complain about how slow you are, or give you 1-star review if the restaurant took too long to prepare the food, etc etc(as if you, the delivery rider is at fault, lol).
Most customers are actually fine, but I wonder how these wheelchair riders handle these minority of problematic customers xia...
I am glad though that food panda provided a way for him to make a living and not discriminate him for being in a wheelchair
Youre giving him livelihood and it's voluntary, so don't feel bad about it.

what you are doing is really difficult, here in the philippines grab food bike has a rear rack that you can put your box on instead of making it a back pack
where do u leave the bag when you leave your bike to send off the order? do you just leave it beside your bike? my bike has no carrier and i dont want to carry the bag with me all the way

Wow I am impressedwith your dedication to your profession as a social media vlogger. Well done. Agreed the job of a delivery driver is not easy! It is worse if there is inclement weather and ugly customers to deal with. Some customers might not be aware that some of these delivery drivers have medical issues like knee arthritis or blocked arteries in legs making walking painful! Kudos to all delivery drivers...not an easy job!
