    Best summit basher is and will be with slight mods to the chassis. Use a revo 3.3 roller and use the summit trans. How the trans bolts in is close. But you will have to mod the motor mount area..but it will be a beast!

    My fast brushless Summit runs LEM (Leading Edge Machine, found on ebay) diffs, diff housings, driveshafts, + a few other parts.

      The Traxxas Summit has been discontinued from my understanding….they’re definitely not gonna be putting a 2s system in a Summit, it’s way too big and heavy….not sure if it’s ever gonna be brought back….hopefully there will be a 2.0 version or something similar in the future 🤞

    How would a brushless setup on a Summit handle a 3s lipo? Do you think it would have all those same problems?

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  6 месяцев назад

      You could run 3s on a Brushless system, but 3s would still be more powerful than the stock Brushed system on 4s….so you’d probably still end up destroying the stock diffs eventually

      Glad you like the Summit videos! Unfortunately you can’t just throw a 2-3s esc and motor in a Summit…it weighs 11-12 pounds….if you read the fine print closely on any 2s or 3s combo…they either say made for 1/10 scale or they put a weight limit..almost always below 7 pounds max weight….the strain from this heavy of a machine will cause constant overheating and thermal cutoff…I could just run 2s or 3s on the current system I’m running but it’ll be pretty slow…would kinda defeat the purpose of going brushless at all
