Hey man, love the video, but I'd just thought I'd tell you that I looked at the blueprints for the MIP axles, and the way you put them together seems to be incorrect. The thick section of the axle is supposed to be the side that contacts the differential, not the other way around. You have the think section of the axles contacting the steering blocks and wheel bearings. I'm not sure how this will affect the performance of the axles, just thought I'd let you know. Looking forward to seeing how the axles fare!
Yeah I never actually watched an install video on them….but I wanted the thicker end closest to the wheel….I feel like the is the end that is gonna take the most abuse….the only down side I could think of is that dirt could get in the Splined end of the axle…Thanks for letting me know though 👍😉
I got those MIP for the rears of my Slash 4x4 and I spit 50% if the wheel hex while tightening the grub screw. I dont know why they dont drill a tiny hole for the grub screw to sit on, the hole does not need to go though the whole shaft.
When are you going to do a running video with the new axles I know they're expenses like to see if you can break them before I spend the money hopefully these will be the way to go
I almost got some for my Hoss like over a year ago. They are just way too heavy. With a Basher I want to keep it As light at possible. So I just kept using plastic ones until I sold it😂. Great install. Hopefully they hold up good for $170🙂.
Everyone edits out the clumsy parts from their videos , nice to see I'm not the only one that can be all thumbs at times...lol ... good show and informative but I want to know how you didn't drop anything through the picnic table...
Did you remove those plastic things that you use that grey tool that looks like a rook chess piece I can't get them out with that tool it's plastic and it broke.
@@s1lentcalib3r the plastic threaded pieces will need to come out to get to the ball ends that thread into the suspension arms…unless you take apart the suspension arms on the chassis side
Bro you put them in upside down! Sorry! I have them in my summit and snapped them at the pin and cup on the differential side the only good thing is mip warranty for life im waiting for the tech to email me he said he has a solution we will see bro ! Good video you should tell people not to put them in like that because it will get dirt in them and grow till it push into the diff or the hub off the a arms!
Thanks for pointing out my mistake…there aren’t any directions with it so I don’t know if they are technically installed incorrect or not but you bring up some strong points for swapping them around
You did a great job explaining the process. Very helpful video and the audio was too. Excellent job.
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful!
Good educational video. You talked your way through the video that really helps. Like to see more build videos like that.
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome upgrade video. The audio was perfect. Birds singing was 👌
Glad you enjoyed it bro!

Great job I got my rustler.
Thanks! Nice!

Yeah that would be ideal to have an indentation in the stub axle for the grub screw to go into
Congrats on the mips!
Thanks! It was definitely time to lay down the money and buy them

I still need to film a video….hopefully it won’t be too long…they better hold up for how much they cost me lol 😂

Thanks! Glad you liked it! These ones aren’t very heavy at all tbh….they better hold up for that price lol 😂
Great tech vid 👊👍
Glad you liked it!

Glad you found it helpful! I was very fortunate that I didn’t loose any parts through the picnic table lol 😂
Looks good!
Thanks!
Excellent!
Good video!
Thanks!

Hi Nolan. Hope all is well with you
I’m doing well! Hope all is well with you too!
Have you thought about selling merchandise?
I have thought about it but haven’t really put a plan into action on how to actually do it
Did they hold up are they worth it I keep break them cheap ones too
No I’m kinda disappointed….I ended up breaking a stub axle
@@RCKnockout can you just buy the stub axle replacement know tho through mip should be cheaper than new axles every time
@@andrewstevens729 yeah there is a stub axle but I haven’t been able to find one available anywhere
@@RCKnockout oh no not good because I just bought these too were you on 4s or 6s
@@andrewstevens729 6s
