These skyline bodies fit on ma030 evo chassis with mpower motor mount installed. I just got the red 60th anniversary one. It fit like a glove with just the right amount of space.
Hey Beaver! Again awesome video dude appreciate it. I am thinking on putting my DRZ2 in that. Do you think will it work? Currently I am running it on a r34 and works perfectly. also what would be the sizes of the tires I should by for those rims? Thanks dude!!!!
This one is about 2mm narrower than R34 so it should fit if you shave the wheel arches off a bit. This body uses 0mm offset narrow wheel on all 4. The tyre size is actually the standard 20mm inner diameter. The Watanabe wheels supplied with the body have outer ring so you can keep using your old tyres.
@@BeaversHobby thanks a lot man, i’m gonna order it with a new pair of tires xD forgot that old ones are glued to the rims xD thanks a lot for your reply ❤️
Thanks for the mini z videos! Just go the awd kit of the 2000 gtr and really excited to get it and mod it. Will the nsx body fit the ma-20 without modifications?
Yes, NSX fits MA-020 directly without modifications. Still, it depends on the batch. Mine is old so the side clips has very long prong. So if it doesn't fit well, just trim it down a bit and it'll be fine.
Beautiful car, thanks for the video! How is the drift accuracy compared to the Drift Art 3S? Do you think the DA3S is worth the extra money? A comparison video with all your cars would be awesome.
Mini-Z is actually very precise to drive. The difference being this one is AWD and you won't have as much tail out action as RWD. RWD also looks and feels more realistic to drift so the trend is going that way. Still, if you want a pickup-and-play experience without having to choose the electronics and build the car then Mini-Z is the best. I sort of have a roundup for all the cars both AWD and RWD. Although they are on the budget track I built here. ruclips.net/video/wM-k0NpaxMg/видео.html Anyway, you can still see how different they drive.
@@BeaversHobby Thanks for the response! If I want a car that drifts well but also is a good choice for "normal" races, the Mini Z is the way to go isnt it? RWDs drifting break out too fast for standard racing, right?
For drifting MA-020 is better. It works with 90mm wheelbase, the servo is a bit stronger and it's way easier to work on. MA-030 has better balance and good for touring, for drifting it's also quite nice but lack of body compatibility and being stuck at 94-98mm is not that good for drifting either.
Great info as usual. I have the old AWD MA010 R34 and it works OK. I agree that RWD is better. Can go much slower drifting with RWD, but the AWDs need more speed to break traction. Love the Hakosuka though; maybe I'll buy that body someday since I broke off the R34's mirror.
I'm going to be pissed if these come with rubber tires.... I got the silver edition readyset coming tomorrow, and the red special edition body. And both specifically state that they come with drift tires installed.
I did it a while back with the toe (same method) but for camber you will need M2 so it's strong enough ruclips.net/video/9OlVz1dXJNc/видео.html . I guess a re-visit would be nice especially for the new version to see if this trick still works.
I took the front plate and the servo from it to build the 2.6 so it's not working anymore. I'm not sure if I'm gonna re-visit it either since it's already outdated at this point. Are people still playing the 2.0?
Unfortunately they don't sell the wheels separately but you can get the unpainted version (white body). It will come with the wheels and it's about half the price. You'll have to paint the wheels though because they come in white.

This is the exact build I want as my first Rc drift car. Thanks for the great video.
I have a red edition, on my ma030 red edition chassis. It might sit .25mm higher on the front. You can make it work!
Finally a video about the 2000 gtr! Cannot wait for my delivery!!!

That looks really nice! Great video
Nice video beaver 👍🏼👍🏼 very clean skyline indeed
"stuck with my nsx"... only the greatest car ever built :)
Well, after the Skyline 2000GT-R of course.
What rear toe bar are you using on your Supra? The blue one.
0 degree toe.
Great video and review as always my friend. 💯
Big love 💙

Nice video, whats is your opinion about ma020 vs ma030. Some people say that ma020 is the best option , because the filling with throttle. :)

One more question. Does this body fit on the wltoys 284131 chassis w/o any mods? Thank you
Unfortunately, no. This one is 94mm wheelbase narrow chassis while WLtoys is 98mm wheelbase wide chassis.
260 bugs are way too much…. but I love it
Hi, i just got the same car, what size are the drift tyres i need to buy, it is 8.5mm ?
Yes, 8.5mm. The narrow ones.
@@BeaversHobby thank you

I'm sorry to say that if you buy the ASC (the body only) it'll come with rubber tyres.
Hey Beaver have you noticed more people being interested in the mini RC stuff lately? or is it about the same?
I think the community is growing constantly so we see a lot more people coming into the hobby. The availability and price also helps a lot too.
Can you please do a camber tutorial on k969?😬😬
I did it a while back with the toe (same method) but for camber you will need M2 so it's strong enough ruclips.net/video/9OlVz1dXJNc/видео.html .

What about against Turbo racing C64?
For the details? Mini-Z is a lot bigger so it is much more detailed than the Turbo Racing.
Is this 1/24 scale??
No, this one is 1/27.52. We generally call Mini-Z 1/28.
@@BeaversHobby Thank you.

@@BeaversHobby I bought the 2.0 right after your first video. Still dont have electronics in it yet. Cant afford them yet.

I'm not a fan of the body but I would buy it just for the rims for mine 86

@@BeaversHobby thank you that's a value tip
Would be great to see this on a xrx chassis or something rwd buddy
Unfortunately it's not possible on XRX because the chassis is very wide. It should be possible on DriftArt though.
