As an ambassador for kumho I’ve agreed to run them, I understand your point but they are a fantastic shoe on road and on sand, they are no mud tyre but the resilience off road on dry rocks is amazing but yes in the wet off road in slop the mt-71 would probably be better which I have run in the past couple of years also.
