The starters where i work dont seem to protect against phase loss. A year ago the whole place dropped a leg due to a defective recloser and took both hot and chilled water pumps with it.
I've had fused connected motor starters blow a single fuse single phasing the motor causing damage to the motor where as if the breaker was allowed to trip it would open all 3 phases not killing the motor.
I don’t suppose you have a video on setting up those sensors? I was always under the impression you needed special software and a laptop but it sure appeared as if you can do it without all that.
On older CH530’s I do use Trane software to bind sensors, these RTHD chillers can bind through the touchscreen with a PIN. I have an earlier video where I use the software on a CGAM. I spent 10 years as an industrial maintenance guy replaced tons of the kind of motors and starters good job buddy
Thanks MrAdam….I’ve lost count how many , I’m 24 yrs into these locations.
Energy mis-management…love it. Sorry we missed you laser aligning the motor to the pump.
👍 🔨No laser because it was mechanically aligned. Thanks for watching!
Good video and call for fused legs on each motor.
Thanks for watching… stay tuned. There’s a follow up

No they don’t, have to have motor saver installed to help with phase loss. Thanks for sharing
Another day at the "office". Nicely done
Yeah buddy, Thanks Jason !!
Nice work Subcool. Thank you for the knowledge.
Thanks for watching!
Great Video! I see your subs going up!
Thanks, gaining altitude 👍

This set up is strange, all 3 motors on 175 amp breaker.
I kinda miss them chiller repairs doing my on HVAC company now in Alabama
👍
Nice work subcool!👍🏼
Thanks! 👍
Those original overloads appeared to be the electronic type, so why was there no phase loss protection?
There’s phase monitor on the main breaker panel only. I’ve requested fused disconnects. Thanks for watching

Iguanas? I was waiting for you to say rats 😂. Thanks for posting
Yep, it’s an invasion. There’s some big one. Thanks for watching
I would suggest to get a meter which can measure phase rotation, the fieldpiece SC680 for example. great video
Thanks for watching 👍
That's crazy no fuses
Yes it is 👍
😅 South FL 🦎
Thanks for the consistent quality! Respect 👍
Thanks for watching 👍
