In this explore we visit the HUGE old Listed building that is Newbury Manor.
Once a grand and respected venue, it has since become a wasteland of rot, decay and abandonment.
Long since the guests of the hotel have left, the picturesque estate sits on Lake views, with running streams, but, now even the security have given in to the decay!

I used to work here 20yrs ago when I was a teenager. I can’t believe what it looks like now!! I mainly worked in the river bar it was so lovely and romantic in there. The management were all annoying and rude as was one of the chefs. But the chef in the river bar used to make me bacon, Brie and mango chutney ciabatta sandwiches it was great! There used to be so many lavish weddings and posh work meetings there. It’s just mad seeing it like this now.
Most of the properties you find are surrounded by the most gorgeous acreage. Amazing how you find so many of these places. 😊 I enjoy watching so much. My fav explorers are you, Ned, Steve and Ed. When the 4 of you are together it's so fun.
I got married here in 2011. It was such a lovely house / hotel. So sad to see it fall in to disrepair.
You guys go to some really interesting places Wish I could take alarm. Unfortunately, IMA paraplegic but I do enjoy watching you Videos keeps me very entertained.😊😊
What a beautiful setting, you can see those grounds were once beautiful and well kept.

Oh what an enchanted place ! I wish they wouldnt sit and deteriorate like this. It is such a shame. It's y'alls heritage. Another great video all. 🧡🙏
It is a shame, but luckily the main older building will be looked after as it listed.

They're called sluicegates. They ought to the flow of the river from one side to the other and lower the pond and raise the water level.
I kept thinking the twins from "The Shinning" were going be down the Hallway !! Lol 😀

QR codes are possibly a form of diester strip. Guards are supposed to scan them as part of their patrols to show that they have done a walk around.

Its up for sale 29,00,000 sits on 7 acres of land needs a bit diy and its open for viewing 😉 😀 😄
It all looks the much the same till you hit the penthouse suite with the round bath, what a waste and the saddest part is there seems so many places fell to the same demise and they’ll all blame it on the old covid but in reality they could of had a skeleton staff in cleaning it and letting the buildings air and keep on top of the gardens. But we’ll done for showing us these places and letting us see what delinquents the owners are.

This place was abandoned in 2016, before covid, it is up for sale. I am guessing the owners could not afford the upkeep and maybe went bankrupt or something, they obviously took all the furnishings or sold them. Will take a lot of money to buy and refurbish.
