I'm 70 years old and I just gave away all my jeans, which at this stage in my life was 2 pair and they were skinny legs and too little for me now. I always said I wish they'd come out with a nice pull on jeans...YOU DID IT. Your embroidery work is beautiful.
I love that you work with fabric shops to help us find the right kind of fabric! Often the most discouraging part of sewing is sourcing the fabric. Thank you!
What struck me was the fact that on all your testers, the rear view is beautiful. With this pattern, you have managed to produce a nice fit for the backside of many different body types!
I love making my own jeans and I've transitioned to only making pull-on jeans - this pattern is a winner! I use my embroidery machine to embellish the back pockets - using my own designs. The hardest part of sewing jeans is finding the perfect fabric.
I'm 65 and can't wait to make these jeans! Having made jeans since the 70's, I am more into the comfort aspect now! Wonderful pattern and I'm excited to get going!
This is the first time I have made a comment with love notions. I love that your jeans have a natural waist. I get so frustrated with low-rise jeans. Low-rise jeans are for teenagers and super-trendy adults, and I don't care for them. I want a natural waist. I want a comfortable pair of jeans. Thank you for the fabric sources. Finding the correct midweight and amount of stretch I want is so hard to find in the retail store.
This pattern is right up my alley! I’m not a great sewer, yet. I used to sew all kinds of things-all my clothes, except coats, underwear and swimming suits! I learned to sew in 7th grade in home ec. I couldn’t stop after that! Woven, knits, light weight & heavyweight. Then after I finished school and was married for 5 or so years, I had two baby boys, 3 yrs apart. So, I sewed many of their clothes! And they were a lot faster! (easier styles & smaller sizes!). As the years passed I became busier and ended up going to work. I got out of the habit of sewing. Now, I’m retired and have more time and a new sewing machine, so I am attempting to learn and relearn all the skills of sewing. I would never attempt a pair of jeans now, but I actually think I can make these!! I’m excited to start. Wish me luck!
I was in the situation. Sewed in Home Ec, younger years, then stopped due to work. Now I absolutely love sewing and can’t stop. Check out Lifting Pins and needles and Thoughtful creativity. Lots of advice and tips. Love Notions Patterns are well drafted. I’d start with this indie pattern company.
I saw your short video the other day for the Crescendo Jeans and thought, “Yes” finally pull on jeans! I am a jeans girl from the 70’s and have a hard time wearing any other type of pants. Since the short video I have been watching everyday-checking to see if it was available yet. I grabbed mine this morning! I started to look for fabric right away! I also have the Legato jeans pattern with the class the last time I bought from Love Notions. I normally don’t get this excited about a pattern, knowing I can get a custom fit makes me Happy! Thank you so much for making this pattern!
My one & only jeans are pull on from old navy (10 yrs ago) . Recently my 89 yr old mom just entered long term care & wants a pull on wide leg jean to accommodate her Foley Bladder catheter. I'll purchase the pattern, but it will be on hold until I can afford $$ the fabric. Cannot wait to wear the final jeans & gift my momma a pair too!
Just yesterday I promised myself I would NOT buy any more patterns or fabric!! Well, maybe just one more time... I love your patterns, and this one looks like another winner!!
So excited LN designed a pull on jean. I’m 70 yo and finding jeans that will fit and have a tall version for this odd shaped body. Thanks LN for your commitment to real women’s clothing.
I've been seeing garments for myself since I was about 11 yo, but I've avoided making jeans bc I doubted I could get the foot and details the way I wanted. Jeans fit me well up until a few years ago, and I don't even want to try them on in a store. I'm going to purchase this pattern based on the results of the many pattern testers' gorgeous photos.
I bought this pattern the moment I saw it advertised, and the hook was the full butt adjustment :) Thanks for all the work you did creating this pattern!
Oh Joy!! Pull on jeans is exactly what I love. I have some that are store bought, but I guarantee these self made jeans will be better than those. Hooray!! I can’t wait to sew some up. Fingers crossed I get picked to win the sewing bundle! 🎉 🤞
I told myself no more sewing jeans because I've had such a hard time finding that perfect fit without super altering the pattern... which I'm not a fan of. This pattern, though, may change my mind!! :) I love that you included fabric rec's. And thanks for the giveaway!!
I’d love to try these, but I’m so afraid of sewing fitted pants! I’m a terrible apple shape, and would hate to waste my time and money to end up with something terrible. I’m new to sewing garments. Handled the LDT okay, and a cadence. Would love to try this.
I have been sewing bags, totes and purses for the last 7 years and had just recently decided I wanted to try sewing my own clothes. I'm 5'9" and it's incredibly difficult to find jeans to fit me correctly. As a result, I only have 2 pair in my closet and they're very old and need replacing. I dread shopping for jeans so when your video came across my feed I thought now is the perfect time to try it! I also have a hard time getting tops to fit so I'll be looking at your tops patterns as well. Let the fun begin!
I’ve signed up with the UFO club at my fabric store… this month the item number pulled corresponds with my #9 Jeans! I just was not getting my jeans done …and now, it will be the Crescendos! So excited!!
I strongly dislike all the distressed jeans in retail during recent years and struggle to locate nice dark denim ones without holes. Although I do own pattern drafting software I will buy your jeans pattern and give it a try. Being a tall plus-size with ample booty all the builtin options are very appealing! Keep up the good work.
Having made the Sabrina Slims as Jeans about a million times, I couldn't purchase this pattern fast enough. I looove all the leg options. Winning a bundle would be amazing. I can't wait to see your embellishment video. Your embroidery looks great!❤
I am just starting my sewing journey at 46 years old, and I just had my first child. I love watching your videos and found your patterns because of Tomkat Stitchery. I've just printed your Aurora dress 😊 I would love to make this pattern as I can't find what I call jeggings,or as you call them pull on jeans, anywhere and they are so comfy and practical 😊
I love stretch denim jeans. I was so disapointed when my favorite RTW brand discontinued the style that actually fit me, so I'm really looking forward to making these jeans...with embroidered pockets!
Tammy is such a great designer! And, Tessa, I'm sure you'll love your visit to Hamilton, MS! I got to spend a few hours there before the pandemic. I'd love to go back, with my sisters in tow!
Tammy and Love Notions ....you outdid yourselves with this pattern. ....having difficulty getting perfect fit Jeans ....this is going to solve my perfect fit problems.....well done!! Looking forward to a Shirt design for the men in our lives.....
I've been trying to find jeans that fit and are comfy in various store and coming up with nothing suitable. Saw this new pattern and thought, "Maybe?" Watched the video and realized, "Yes!" I'm looking forward to making a pair -- and thank you for sourcing the fabric ❤.
I’ve never tried sewing bottoms before as I’ve been entirely intimidated. These jeans look amazing, and like I might actually be able to do them. I’m excited to try!
As you were going through where the crescendo jeans sat on the spectrum of difficulty, I was having a (not so mild) panicky moment… “Nooo!”I thought… “I need these jeans in my life!” Can you tell I haven’t made jeans before?! So I’m really thrilled that they seem to be a more accessible sew and will definitely be giving them a go. Sourcing the fabric in Australia may well be an interesting exercise! Oh…note to self…. Do a toile (or two) first😊. Thankyou for a great overview of this pattern.
I'm a belt wearer. And hearing pull on jeans made me nervous. Imagine my surprise when I saw belt loops! So awesome! I may now get brave enough to sew me some. And thanks for including all the leg styles. That means I can buy one pattern for the styles me and my two girls like. You guys rock.
I am so excited about this pattern. Looking forward to seeing these. I have become a huge fan of all Love Notions patterns. I loved the embroidered pocket idea. Takes me back to the 70s when I embroidered all of my jeans. 😊
I was on the fence (because I have most LN bottoms patterns) but after seeing this video, I’m going back and completing my order of Crescendo Jeans. I love pull on’s and comfort is so important. The thing is this pattern is comfort and style. Great design!!!!❤
Definitely will be purchasing at the sale price. I usually procrastinate until I miss the introductory offer. I'm excited to sew these - a MUCH NEEDED addition to may wardrobe.
I have difficulty finding jeans that fit comfortably as I have a long torso and am only 5’4” tall, and I love a nice fitting jean without having wedgies all the time. I feel that this pattern will be the solution for me. Thank you so much.
Ever since you first hinted at this pattern, I have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. I can't believe it's finally here. I love pull on jeans and now I can get them to fit both my large waist and my short legs!!!!!
I haven’t sewn in a very long time. This sure looks like a good investment and a very doable project. Thanks so much for walking us through the ins and outs of this great pattern!
I can’t wait to try this pull on jeans pattern! Funny story…..I worked at The House of Fabrics over 50 years ago. The double knits of that era were not the double knits of today. A lot of ladies were sewing elastic waist double knit pants and I just hated them. I swore I would never wear pants with elastic in the waist. Well now that we have beautiful pontes and stretch denim I had to eat my words!
I haven't been able to find regular jeans that fit me, so this pattern - and type of jeans - would be perfect! Now i just need to get the fabric and get busy 🧵🪡
This pattern has real potential for me and my adult daughter! I really appreciate seeing the testers in their makes with different body types and heights.
Wow, never made jeans, fantastic looking pattern especially with all the different styles, as after all we are all different shapes. This would be a fabulous gift to learn and make my very own jeans. Thank you 🥳🎉🥰🤗
I love that these pull on jeans with real pockets. It's such a struggle to find my perfect jean anymore due to the diastasis recti baby number 4 left me with. Now I can make my own perfect jean. Thanks for the great pattern and a chance in your giveaway.
I just watched Karina’s vlog (lifting pins and needles) on these and bought the pattern straight away. As well as the comfort factor being pull-up they look fitted you’d never know they had an elastic waist, plus the ease of adjusting the rise means a lot to me, I CANNOT purchase jeans that I don’t have to keep hitching up after a few washes because the rise just wasn’t quite right. I’m 65 and from the era that looove wearing jeans, now I can stay in style with all the variations to choose from without having to hunt high and low for a brand and style that fits me.
I'm so excited by this pattern. LN patterns are such great value for money with all their options. But above that, they are so well drafted and so useful in my wardrobe. Thank you for this amazing addition. I can't wait to buy my pattern.
Life has gotten in the way of sewing up your last release so I’m hoping that this much needed piece to my wardrobe will get me back in the swing of getting in my sewing room! These look wonderful ♥️
Hi All, That was a very comprehensive introduction to the Crescendo jeans. I am a recovering spinal cord injury and sewing is one of my passions so much so it is part of my rehab programme that I have spent the last 2 years on. I need the comfort and ease of pull-on stretch jeans - it may take me more time to make them but I would love the opportunity to get the perfect fit. Yay!!
This would be fabulous. Being tall (ok, long legged) and extra round, sometimes it gets exhausting adjusting the pattern to fit. Thank you for providing so many possibilities
Wow! The Crescendo Pull-On Jeans are amazing, and just what I need for my wardrobe! Can't wait to try out the pattern and make my own comfy, flattering jeans!
How generous to donate the jeans bundle for making the Crescendo Jeans. I have many Love Notions patterns and love them all.Tami, you are a very talented gal, drafting patterns, sewing them and then modeling them! Keep them coming.
22:06 I was so excited to see how many fitting options that will be covered in this pattern. I've made the Cargo Largos and Duet pants, but it took several versions before I got each of them to fit right. I have a very large waist, which makes buying jeans that fit almost impossible. I recently bought men's jeans and only had to adjust the length. I'm hoping this pattern will solve my fitting issues! 🙂
Thank you so much for sourcing fabric. This almost 70 year old has had difficulty finding denim with sufficient stretch for pull-on pants (the only kind of clothing I want to bother with these days). It’s all about comfort and the need to smooth the accumulating lumps.
I have wanted to make a pair of jeans for a long time but dreaded the thought of figuring out the fit. The Crescendo jeans look like the answer to my dilemma. All the choices will enable me to get the fit that I want. I can't wait to make these pants!
Id be happy to pay for postage to Australia if I win. I was so excited for this pattern when I saw the RUclips shorts as I love a good pull on denim jean. These are going to be my staple winter pant for sure. I just watched Karina from Lifting Pins and Needles sew her 2 pairs up and I am in awe of the red fabric she used as in my head these were going to be denim only. Thanks for all of your wonderful patterns. 🌸🐨🌸
Good morning, I just bought some Levi high waist rib cage wide leg jeans and I love them. I love this pattern and can’t wait to buy it. Thank you so much for bringing this beautiful pattern out. Have a fantastic day Val❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧
These are the exact look of jeans I buy in an Australian boutique for AUD $170. I am soooooo looking forward to trying them out. Great presentation with the video and great patterns. Thank you for this pattern. 😃
Ha! When I saw the email I thought I really wasn't interested in the pattern. Watching the video changed my mind! Looking forward to taking advantage of the different fit options already done for me!
Really excited about this pattern. Really enjoyed making the duet trousers and especially loved the intense tutorial about fitting suggestions 😊 I’m a first time pants maker, although sewing has been in my life for 50 years. Was always intimidated about fitting.
I bought my pattern today and ordered the fabric from one of your recommended sources. I'm so excited to get started on this pattern. I love that it is pull on and has so many options. Back rise has always been a challenge for me. Your many options should solve that problem. Thanks, for this wonderful pattern.
I have never been able to get a pair of jeans to fit me. I would love to succeed with this pattern and bundle! I even have a Crescendo sewing machine! Feels lucky!
This pattern is just in time for me! I was considering cutting up an old pair of pull up jeans to use as a template…now I can “have my cake and eat it too!”
I love, love, love Love Notions patterns and have made several items with very little to no alterations to the pattern. The Crescendo jeans would be a perfect addition to my other Love Notions pieces. Thank you ladies for developing such a great pattern.
I'm 70 years old and I just gave away all my jeans, which at this stage in my life was 2 pair and they were skinny legs and too little for me now. I always said I wish they'd come out with a nice pull on jeans...YOU DID IT. Your embroidery work is beautiful.

It is! We've been gathering resources though! Hopefully shops will be able to keep it in stock more often now! ☺️ ~J

I especially like the fabric recommendations. I feel like this is where I fail frequently.
The first thing I thought when I saw this pattern was - A Pull-On Jean! HOORAY! So excited for this one!
So glad I saw this video. Ive heard a lot of rumble on this new pattern!! Love all the options. Off to go shop!

Just yesterday I promised myself I would NOT buy any more patterns or fabric!! Well, maybe just one more time...

Me, too, but I did!
Hahahahahaha just one more....😏

Oh dear. I am supposed to be sewing new nightshirts, but instead I am being lured by this incredible pants pattern. Heading off to order it now.
I bought this pattern the moment I saw it advertised, and the hook was the full butt adjustment :) Thanks for all the work you did creating this pattern!

Yayyy for quilters and yayyy for Missouri Star!!! I’m a quilter who is dabbling into garment sewing.
I've been trying to find jeans that fit and are comfy in various store and coming up with nothing suitable. Saw this new pattern and thought, "Maybe?" Watched the video and realized, "Yes!" I'm looking forward to making a pair -- and thank you for sourcing the fabric ❤.

WOW. What an amazing giveaway & pattern. This is the jeans pattern everyone needs. Thank you!
Yay! I love this pattern. Jeans are my go to pants, but because I'm getting older I am absolutely over zippers! I just want to be comfortable!

These look great! Love Notions nails it again with all the options for customization. Bravo!
Wow love the new jeans pattern. Such a comfortable option especially with the high rise and so versatile with all the leg options.
So pleased that you have provided links to the exact fabric for a successful sew. 👍🏻 Looking forward to my new pair
I am so excited to see this new jeans pattern, so much so that I am very definitely going to get this one!😊
I haven’t sewn in a very long time. This sure looks like a good investment and a very doable project. Thanks so much for walking us through the ins and outs of this great pattern!

Super excited about your new jeans pattern. Everything you need in one! Diana
This new jeans 👖 pattern is one I would definitely make! Thank you, LN!
The first thing I thought when I saw this pattern was --A Pull-On Flare Jean- HOORAY! So excited for this one!
This is exactly what I've been looking for. I have several yards of turquoise stretch denim that would be perfect for these jeans!

I love pull on jeans at this stage of my life.
So excited you've created a comfortable jeans pattern for us. Can't wait to add these to my closet.

I am not normally a pants sewist lol- but after watching this video they look like something I would make. Can't wait to try!
So cool and offering a giveaway is definitely awesome….thanks so much
Thank you so much for sourcing fabric.
These are exactly what I’ve been looking for! Way to go Love Notions!!❤
This looks like an amazing pattern! Love Notions has such great variety! These jeans look like they are a "perfect fit"!
8:45am. I have been looking for a pattern just like this. It’s perfect!
Ha! When I saw the email I thought I really wasn't interested in the pattern. Watching the video changed my mind! Looking forward to taking advantage of the different fit options already done for me!
I ADORE this pattern. Your timing is perfect and I’m all about easy on pants. I’m going to sew the no no belt loops/pockets version. 🌻🌻
As usual LN patterns facilitate our sewing journey.
I will be buying the Crescendo pattern right now 😊.
Thanks 👍🏻
This video has given me the courage to possibly sewing the Crescendos. I get excited. The only pants I have made that fit me are the Allegros.
I usually stick to sewing tops but I think I'll step out of my comfort zone and give these a try! Thanks for the video!
I have never been able to get a pair of jeans to fit me. I would love to succeed with this pattern and bundle! I even have a Crescendo sewing machine! Feels lucky!
Can not wait try this pattern! The options are incredible and adding embellishments will be so much fun!!
This pattern is just in time for me! I was considering cutting up an old pair of pull up jeans to use as a template…now I can “have my cake and eat it too!”
Finally, I can make a pair of jeans to fit my shape. I'm a size 5 - 6X on top and a 3 - 4X on the bottom. Thank you
I love, love, love Love Notions patterns and have made several items with very little to no alterations to the pattern. The Crescendo jeans would be a perfect addition to my other Love Notions pieces. Thank you ladies for developing such a great pattern.
How exciting! I think this will be my first jeans pattern to tackle. I LOVE the idea of embroidered pockets!
