Congratulations on the move! As a neurospicy gal, moving puts me in a funk for like 6 months, only just recovered from moving in June! Just gotta be kind to yourself above all else and not set expectations too high. Also, a tip for the coffee machine, if you can give it like 20 mins to warm up before you pour your first shot, it really helps! Also the jug that comes with it should have a little thermometer sticker on it, that can help with steaming, but for plant milks you'll wanna go a little under what you would for dairy, maybe 5C. ♥️

I love how the "living" area is separated in two since the kitchen was on the smaller side you can still have a place for a table without it being IN the living room, so excited for you and the fam!!!!

Love love LOVE the coffemaker scene😂!! I am shocked that washing was so expensive for you, in Switzerland when we rented, there was always a communal washing area with a pay meter, that cost max CHF 2.- per washing!! So glad, it changed now. You have a lovely light and spacious place, enjoy🎉!

I moved into a new apartment back in February and having a washer and dryer after 13 years without one is such a game changer! I too used to wash my clothes by hand, but in my tub. I also have a dish washer in my new place 😮 in my 32 years of life, I’ve never had a dishwasher 😅 So that has freed up so much time.

I too hate the cold evil touch of a shower curtain, so hallelujah for the glass doors! I also have a glass-door no-tub shower, and someone this week just told me that a portable, removal, collapsible tub is a thing apparently?! I haven't investigated yet, but that could be a nice thing if you like baths once in a while

Ahhhh congratulations!!! 🥳🥳🩵 I moved a couple weeks ago to a new apartment and even though I'm so happy with it, I also experienced so many migraines and chronic illness flare ups because of it. The stress, less sleep/rest, and the constant state of being overwhelmed really kicks in and I need to keep reminding myself it's okay to take it slow and take it one day at a time to really make it my own space !!
