I know all the situation happening in Myanmar yet these contents are valuable for some burmese youth. I hope you will create new amazing contents like this.
This is a very great video. The tips and the materials for personal statement that you have mentioned in the video are very realistic and useful. Your intonation is really good.
Hello. I wrote my personal statement a year earlier and had 7 people look it over. They loved it and so did I. I am studying Political science and history. I graduate from undergraduate May 2021. My GPA is 2.80 and am trying to raise it up to at least a 3.2 or 3.3. I am applying to graduate school for Fall 2021 term and going to get my MA in Political Science then apply to PHD.
HKU ranks higher, so you'll impress more people I guess, especially those who don't really know about HK unis? But for me, I wanted the warm culture/vibe, and a great physical campus life, which CUHK does better at. This is only my reason! It depends on who you are so get more perspectives!
Hi Akira! I assume that you want to come to MC, what a great choice. You cannot apply for it separately, MC will consider it based on your academic results! If you are admitted without renewable scholarship but if you do well and get a good GPA, you will be awarded for the following years, hope this answers :)
Hii, I repeated year 12 because I failed chemistry in the first year which made me realise medicine is not the career path for me . I’m currently going into year 13 with psychology, philosophy and french . In my personal statement should I mention that I repeated year 12 with different subjects ? Because I don’t think a lot of unis would be happy to hear it and they would be reluctant to give me a position in unis like UCL OR QUEEN MARY OR KINGS . What is your advice ? Because on the contrary it could show how I learn from my failures and I come back . But again I wouldn’t get any unconditional offers by saying I failed . Can you help me pls I want to study psychology
Hey there! I get your point. What major do you want to study now then? What makes you so sure of your career path now? My suggestion: don't include it if you are only going to write one or two sentences about it. Remember that u're gonna have to take some compulsory courses during uni that is not within your interest, you don't want to show them that you will fail at something that is of not an interest to you during uni. However, u can include it if u want to write in depth about it and convince the admission officers that u are now very sure of what u want to study or if there is nothing else better to write about. Hope this helps!! :))
I wan to know that we need to change personal statement depending on the university situation or can we use only one PS to apply any kind of university?
Hello sir! I just want to ask if the university accept undergraduate students that'll like to have an exchange program there for a semester education in a dual degree program.
Not sure if I got your question right, but there are a lot of exchange programs here. Normally, exchange programs need connection between the universities. For instance, if you are studying at CUHK, you have to apply for exchange programs through CUHK portal, meaning you can only go to unis that have exchange arrangements with CUHK. Hope this answers.

Hi. I’m from Myanmar too :)). Can I know why do you choose CUHK over HKU?

Great video!
But could you elaborate about how to apply for a renewable Morningside College scholarship?

Thiha Chi yes thank you so much !! You are right !
Hi, I was applying to Hong Kong. I liked your statement. Can u help me by checking my own statement?
Email me! tithiha96@gmail.com :)
I wan to know that we need to change personal statement depending on the university situation or can we use only one PS to apply any kind of university?
Hi! I think the part where you might need to change is "why this major at this university in this country?", if it makes sense. :))
Is there any limitation in the word count?
i think the idea is not to yap so only as long as you are worth

I'd say check with your home university!
