    I have a backup hammershot on the loadout, but I only put a 3d printer spacer behind the spring. Time to crack it open again and do this nice little improvement.

      For sure, get it done and let us know how it went - hopefully it'll be more consistent. Are you running a printed cylinder?

      @@fixitanyway4018 No. Just the standard 5 shots that come with it. It really is a back-up blaster. I tend to run a heavy loadout with a long or short dart gryphon, depending on what the fps is. If I was doing a scavenging only format event, I would run the rival Helix due to the hopper, and lack of dart orientation factors.

      Nice, I've not tried any curve shot blasters yet

    Love a Hammershot, might just have to try this on mine. What's the cylinder you have, as extra darts is always a good thing?

      @@fixitanyway4018 Just managed to do the mod in time for Bristol Blast #52 and it worked a treat (with only a little stress fracturing on one side). Thanks! Also discovered that with the OMW 6-shot cylinder I can double load half darts for a HVZ pistol shotgun. Need to pick up another Hammershot now though!

    Sorry for late comment, would you say opening it from the clips and removing it that way is better than just pulling it out from the end of the tube by ripping the plastic off

    • @fixitanyway4018
      @fixitanyway4018  Год назад +1

      I went for clips because it seemed neater and easier. If you can open the clips gently there's less chance of messing up your seal.
      I've seen some folk glue the cap back on just to make sure if they think the clips were weakened

      @@fixitanyway4018 alright thanks a lot, didn’t know the cap could come off this was really helpful with my hammershot as the air restrictor made a weird popping sound. Thanks again
