As someone who lives in the tropics, it is such a delight for me to see real living Christmas trees! It's not entirely impossible to get actual trees, though it would be a luxury to do so.

I love the look of the planner, but as my days as a student are far behind me, I’d love a future version aimed at working professionals! Compared to real life, planning for school and studying was a dream! It’s lovely when all your hard work is going toward your own self-improvement and knowledge. After university, your work is usually toward improving things for others in one way or another. I wish someone would give me a syllabus for regular life haha. ✨ Have a lovely Christmas! 🎄

Ruby, every time I watch your videos I am so motivated to be productive. I’ve been staying at home for the past week and a half since my sister has covid. I miss my co-workers and I just feel so useless, but I am grateful nonetheless that I have more time to read, watch movies, clean, etc. Lots of love from the US! 💖
Dear Ruby,
I’ve been following you for many years now and have loved seeing your journey. I have always admired your love and devotion to your studies. It is something I’ve always felt I had within me (I loved primary school) but have had it beaten out of me by the school system.
As someone who has always had a love of school life I’m not sure if you’ll be able to help me with this but I thought I’d give it a shot anyways.
You see, I used to love learning and still do. I’m one of those people who always needs to be learning something new or else I get bored. However, I’m also autistic and have ADHD and going through the school system (both high school and college) was very traumatic for me. There were no accommodations at my schools and I really struggled in a system that wasn’t designed for my type of brain. Now I can barely even read a book (I hobby I used to adore) without getting anxious or having a panic attack.
I love learning but it’s “studying” I’m having a hard time falling in love with. I would love to further my education but feel I couldn’t survive the system again.
Do you have any suggestions on how I could fall in love with studying and learning in that type of environment?

I just wanted to comment because I have a suggestion that may be helpful.
The Open University offers many academic qualifications and maybe some vocational courses as well. It’s flexible, online learning with regular tutorials with a regional study group. I can’t say in every case but you don’t necessarily need previous qualifications to go ahead with a course. Also, most importantly, they offer a lot of help if required.
They offer free short online courses as well which would give you an idea of what you may like to study. Those are a good idea because what you study is the same as in a bricks and mortar university. It’s a huge commitment.
My experience of the school system wasn’t the best either so the degree that I studied has been invaluable to me.

Hey, I am very sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. I have autisme and noticed that I have experienced the same struggles as you did. I can't go to school anymore, because I get to tired and because it makes me very anxious. I am finishing my highschool on my own at home and i find it very hard to find motivation. I also feel very alone because I don't go to school. Luckily I still love reading, but it must be hard to feel anxious about something you used to love. I wouldn't really know how to help you, but I hope that you feel less alone. I know how you feel and I hope it gets better soon. Me: um...not done shopping yet?! Plus somethings are on order and won’t be here until after. So baking tonight, light viewing tomorrow, final shopping Wednesday, wrapping Thursday, husband birthday and church Friday, and maybe (MAYBE!!) I’ll actually be ready for Christmas on time.

my mum and i go to john lewis every year when the christmas floor opens to pick a new ornament for each of our trees. we didn’t get to go this year due to covid and just being very busy in general so it was lovely to see you go instead !!

I also absolutely love the 2009 A Christmas Carol, I feel like I'm the only one in my social circle who has to watch it every year. The animation of the characters can be a little off-putting the first minutes after a year of not watching it but you forget about it so quickly because the atmosphere, mood and environment of the movie enhances the animation all together.

Was really excited to order the yearly planner but am concerned it’s not been despatched yet (no despatch email received) despite ordering it on 1st December. Customer service takes an age to respond and hasn’t responded to my emails asking when despatch is likely to be. Appreciate you might have a lot of orders to deal with but am finding the whole process quite disappointing.

Thank you for this video- I've been struggling to get in a Christmas spirit this year- probably because I am working Christmas Day- but this was really heartwarming! I feel like I need to finish off making my Christmas tree decorations now and maybe next year I'll spend more time making wrapping paper as I love that idea. 10:23 So I know I'm 2 years too late but maybe it will be of use this year, or help someone else: It's perfectly fine for the paper star to touch the light bulb *if the bulb doesn't get hot.* I know some of those larger bulbs have a LED inner bulb and don't get hot at all, if that's what you have then you're all good.

I really wanna get a planner, but I have issues with committing to them. I've gotten two-yearly planners already because the design was so pretty, and I only ended up filling up random things and never actually using it. I'm just walking entropy. I wish I had your level of commitment to them and organisation.
