I'm still waiting for my Haimus plenum, but I'm optimistic it will make a difference when combined with 5-axis porting, 292 cams and all new valve train in my S65 stroker build. Will def provide build info and Dyno results to the community at some point.

Great video Spencer, fully agree on how special the S65 is. You might find the plenum gets louder after a while like mine has done 😍 really think this plenum works so well with the Akra

After driving my friends e90 m3 the way the car sings after 6.5k to 8k is amazing stock intake and an exhaust but to have the carbon plenum....probably the best sound in the world

Karbonius has real engineered carbon runners and a larger plenum volume compared to evolve. The haimus just has straight stacks inside which is going to sacrifice power somewhere under the curve compared to an engineered length runner. Yes probably sounds great but there is a sacrifice compared to other offerings out there.
So are you still doing a team schirmer build…. Or nah we never got an update on that…
You should get headers for a more mean noise too
Do you plan on dynoing it? Really curious about the power gains.
I love you Spencer and I love your content. If you wanna make your videos more cinematic then edit your sequence settings. Adding black bards doesn’t work as well as you’d think. It looks almost burnt onto the screen, if that makes sense.
1920p X 817p would give you that cinematic look if you’re filming in 1080p

From this video for me I don’t regret getting the Eventuri. It is a total complete assembly from on source. I think the Eventuri sounded louder in your review video to me but hey
I will be able to give a better opinion once I get the intake and elbow, since the Eventuri system I had was the full setup and this is just the plenum. But hey we all have different opinions!

Not want to 'throw anyone under the bus' but I'm in the market for an S65 intake (plenum). Which one makes the loudest intake noise of the bunch (Evolve, Karbonius, Haimus, Carbon Klasse)?
I like the differences in design, fittings and trumpets of the different brands, and there's a huge difference in price. To be honest, Evolve seems way too expensive and mainly 'bling'. The Haimus one seems very well designed but is 'plain' looking and maybe a bit quiet. The Karbonius seems high quality and a good deal for the full package (plenum, elbow, airbox lid). The Carbon Klasse is good looking and a smart design where they replace the top of the OEM plenum. And the other parts are good looking and not too expensive.
I am running the CarboProject and ordered this one too. So eager to receive it!
Will you sell the CarboProject plenum when you get your new one ?

I think/thought my power steering pump was failing; however, I do not here the whine/whistling noise. In lower speeds the steering is so stiff if feels like I have to drive with two hands. Thoughts?

Noticed you’re still running the stock elbow. You’re missing a decent amount of the sound by not replacing the filter and elbow. Eventuri intake should match up nicely.

Yes you can, I have the same plenum with the Eventuri intake and they look perfect together 👌🏽

Unfortunatelly there is no intake sound. I have one installed a few days ago with the elbow and the intake filter. There is simply no intake sound. I have no cats and AA exhaust gen2 (which by itself sounds amazing) maybe the exhaust overpowers the plenum, but to be honest, i think its way overpriced for just something that looks good. No noticeable hp gains either.
I have stock exhaust and the plenum sounds WILD. Exhaust is definitely overpowering the induction on yours.
Wish I was rich to mod my e90 in 2 months here I am 2 years later 🥺
