unfortunately, very often people are judged by their origin, nationality, type of activity. Very rarely in terms of qualifications or principles. I'm not complaining that I can be called a Russian, although I'm Ukrainian, not many in the West do not know the difference as well as I do not distinguish the Englishman from an American, it's not bad and not good, it's only because we have usual business with which we we collide every day.

The textual source is connected with the pre-Christian era, when the new year began in early spring with the return of swallows to Ukraine.~ to 988 AD. M. Leontovych wrote music for Shchedryk 1919-1922
I don't know if it is related, but I do know there are a number of Slavic stories of beautiful magical princesses who could turn themselves into birds and the feats of the heroes who try to win their hearts.
Every time you hear Carol Of The Bells - pls, recall that the autor of this song was murdered by the Russian marauder in his own house because that "Russian liberator" desired the boots worn by the author's father. Nowadays "Russian liberators" also murder Ukrainians poets and composers at their own houses. Also for the boots.
I am the musician version of John Terry. John Terry cleared a ghost goal against Ukraine at Euro 12, as they beated Ukraine 1-0.. Well, last Christmas, at a winter concert at my school, a fellow flute player sneakily traded 1st flute for 2nd flute. I was the only one with the second flute part, so I chimed in and played the second flute part. I saved the concert, as the rest of my "real soloist" members went on to put on a show. Guess what song I did this heroic act in? That's right, Carol of the Bells- UKRAINIAN Carol.

UKRAINE OF ROS AND RUSSIA OF ROS AND BELARUS AND ALL SLAVIC COUNTRYS OF ROS AND ROS NOT FASCIST
Thanks for sharing this carol with every else! Greetings from sunny Mexico.
I love 'UKRAINE' people ❤💝🌹 Neelavanan from INDIA.
@@olgakovalenko6413 hi, how are you

Translation of original words
Shchedryk, Shchedryk, Shchedrivochka,
The swallow has arrived,
She started twittering to herself,
Call the owner:
"Come out, come out, my lord,
Look at the barn -
The sheep rolled there,
And the lambs were born.
In you the goods are all good,
You will have a measure of money,
Although not money, then half,
You have a black eyebrow woman. "
Shchedryk, Shchedryk, Shchedrivochka,
A swallow has arrived.
May God bless the Ukraine People.
So proud to have Ukrainian blood flowing through me. Bless you all!
J'aime beaucoup!!!! Viva Ukraine!!!!
Actually was killed by an Ukrainian who worked for the soviets and not Russian
where did you get that information?

One of my favorite Christmas songs, yes, great to hear in the original language.
Merry Christmas to all from Ukraine and to all of Ukrainian descent (2)
I am the musician version of John Terry. John Terry cleared a ghost goal against Ukraine at Euro 12, as they beated Ukraine 1-0.. Well, last Christmas, at a winter concert at my school, a fellow flute player sneakily traded 1st flute for 2nd flute. I was the only one with the second flute part, so I chimed in and played the second flute part. I saved the concert, as the rest of my "real soloist" members went on to put on a show. Guess what song I did this heroic act in? That's right, Carol of the Bells- UKRAINIAN Carol.
Incredible and beautiful. Well Done. That was lovely to listen to.
Merry Christmas from the US!
This is the greatest version of the greatest carol there is. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
This is beautiful. The Leontovych original. This always puts a chill up my spine.
FELIZ NAVIDAD FROM CATHOLIC PHILIPPINES.
