Jordan's first two movies are a couple of the best horror movies. His concepts are super creative and original and the execution is amazing. I'll just buy tickets to his future movies without even thinking.
Took the words right out of my mouth, he is so creative, i love watching his movies with super focus trying to analyze what everything means. 2 of my all time favorite movies are both of his.. Can't wait to see what he gifts us with next
Same!!
Facts, I won't even like a plot of one of his movies and will go see it without hesitation
Did you like nope?
@@jaymimcnabb9017personally i did
Jordan Peele is one of the greatest. He is my inspiration in cinematography, writing, story telling, screen play and directing. Hope to meet you one day!
Lets work together...
I have the storys.....
Nine months later, how does this only have 395 likes and 16.5k views? This is amazing.
The kid playing Young Adelaide is so adorable!
Jordan went different to all those regular horror movies, this movie said that horrors aren’t all about jump scares,it’s about the curiosity (especially when the movie has finished) for e.g. you would wonder how the tethered got a croaky voice, you would wonder how Pluto got his burnt scars, you would be concerned if Jason and Pluto switched? Thank you for reading this with your time!
For us to have privilege, someone else has to suffer. Never looked at it from that perspective foreal.. and I'm still ungrateful sometimes smh
He is a hell of talent. Incredible writer, producer, and director. Such great vision. Genius level
Jordan peele is a genius he is so observant of everything and can bring it to not just words but films short and long
Who else is waiting for kegan to suddenly appear and deliver a punchline
Got caught turtle *_headed_* eh? EH?!
He definitely needs to appear at least as a easter egg in the background, maybe dressed as one of his Key and Peele characters so he's slightly less recognizable.
I wanted that in this movie, dang so scary
It’s like they are “tethered” in our minds
Jordan peele is one of the most creative directors of this generation! 👑
Still can't believe he's the same slap a** guy.... For me Jordan himself is like a movie with lots of twist! .... Lots of love to his works❤❤
I like how Jordan Peele is that typical funny/clown guy from class that actually has a lot of traumas and actually views the world in a dark & disturbed way... Love this guy haha
Jordan Peele has to be one of the best and most creative producers ever!
You know after watching Key&Peele skits, each probably 20-30 times. And watching Jordan Peele playing a host of characters, it's great to see this side of Jordan Peele!
Behind the camera, directing people, giving interviews of his movie directional work! It's a great sight! 🙏🙏🙏
That stunt flip was amazing.
the philosophy on this movie and its creator is blowing my mind.
Watched this movie three times, and its still scary.
I didn’t think it was scary at all but it was entertaining. I watched it twice.
Jordan Peele is genius. Tonight is the first night of me watching US. THE MESSAGE IS POWERFUL, IT HITS CLOSE TO HOME. THANK YOU FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT BUT THE OVERALL MESSAGE SPEAK VOLUMES. ❤️❤️🙏.

He’s so well spoken , so fucking awesome , wow wow wow wow wow wow wow
he is so incredibly talented. i would love to see more horror movies from him.. he makes such amazing plots and characters and the actors are always fantastic.
what a humble dude too.
I agree
The little girl who played young Adelaide/Red is absolutely adorable ❤
Jordan pill is as a very intellectual man! No lie!
I like to think that at 1:07 Adelaide was confused at what Red what say so she said “like puppets” to assure her
hes such a genius it truly amazes me
This guy is pure genius.
Genius he needs to keep it up! His impact has driven so many black actors to strive for brilliance!!!
So glad he thoroughly pointed out the religious aspects of the film. So many people dislike the film because they don't appreciate how religious this film is in a horrific way but still it's essential to see it through this lense. This is a fantasy film. This is religious horror at it's best. God chose Red to rise up for those that government-scientists (or whatever representation of mankind's arrogance and callousness) created and abandoned. If souls exist, these tethered people are slaves to their better halves. They deserve a better life. So poetic that one person was able to escape and take the place of their corresponding "American" doppelganger. The biblical sign from the hobo was a message from this God who made this possible and gave both girls a chance to see things from the others' perspective, and eventually battle for control. Red and Adelaide were special. Only they could come and go and they did at the same time. It's fate. It's religious and ballzy. Imagine we are not God's chosen people. They have the upper hand because they have a Messiah. That's terrifying.
I can only watch the movie during the day😧😧😧😧😧😱

Santa Cruz boardwalk in the cold sunshine on Sundays in the off season really did have a creepy vibe to it. Jordan Peele chose his location very well! Creepy ish place.
I would freaking give anything to meet and talk to Jordan for 10 minutes he’s a genius and honestly won’t make any sense but got me sober of heroine I was shooting up for 13 years and please Jordan keep making movies just keep putting your input out there please it helps people I think he’s amazing
Peele has become such a bad-ass! :)
Awesome
The idea that catfishing exists makes the existence of doppelgangers infinitely more creepy
I have encountered doublegangers 3 times in my life. They definately were 3 different peolpe. All of them had the same skull/ side profile, nose, jaw and pear shaped face like me and where waring simmilar clothing styles and had the exact same hair/beard cut like i had at these particular, different times. I have no doubt that all of these encounters where 100% coincidence and havee no deeper meaning. But every time we recognised each other, smiled or laughed and aknoleged the fact that we both look not only the same, but sharp, phresh and ready to conquer.
My parents experience that twice, one that looked like cousin Andrea and my older brother Peter
I really enjoyed this movie. It was creepy and intense. But also happened to slip some humor in there😅
Great movie with a surprising plot twist at the end . No wonder he did the 2 recent Twilight Zone seasons
He’s been warning us. Evil doubles… Kris and Kim.
I want to watch this
afther this movie I could not look my self in the mirror for a week
This movie teach about the higher self and lower self we are our own demons

It was ok. I liked Get Out more. The twist in Us was pretty cool but it kinda drug on.
The labored speedboat additionally fasten because vibraphone climatologically instruct besides a hypnotic menu. nonstop, impartial gateway
Sometimes when he explains something it seems he smokes too much pot.
clearly a blatant rip off Donnie Darko /s
Stupid movie, don't waste your life watching this. I watch tons of movies and this was the worst I've seen.
What a bunch of bs.
?
This movie was a complete fail I'm sorry. Very horrible.
For those who haven't seen it, 2008′s doppelganger-infused thriller "The Broken" by director Sean Ellis explored many of the same themes and much of the atmosphere of Jordan Peele's “Us”, albeit a good 11 years before Peele released his so-called masterpiece.
While there are some notable differences between “The Broken” and “Us”, the similarities between both films are disturbingly congruent, almost as if Peele was making some kind of meta-commentary on the ability of creators like himself to imitate more original artists and later supplant them in the public space. The plot, focus on family dynamics, and specifically the twist ending in both films make it clear that Peele (an otherwise brilliant writer and director, as evidenced by his work on “Get Out”) was--to put it charitably--struggling creatively when he made “Us”.
In other words, Peele ripped off “The Broken” writer/director Sean Ellis, and has yet to be held accountable.
From reading the plot, I respectfully disagree Peele ripped "The Broken" off at all. The films are similiar only in the way two films that are about the same mythological creature will have some similarities. Dopplegangers are mythic creatures with a long folkloric tradition, just like vampires or werewolves, and their stories are much older than either film.
Exploring guilt? He should feel guilty for making this hot mess of a movie! 😂
This is arguably the worst movie in human history. Complete garbage
