Recovery does suck I must say. But I’m happy with my results! I’m still recovering...I’m on my 9th week, this year has been something else. I think the combo of stress and being sick way back in January my initial surgery date and cancellations due to covid. I did freak out afraid I was going to have an infection because I had drain tubes. I was meticulous in keeping my wound and drains clean.

I feel that his explanation is biased and he is also using scare tactics. Every major surgery runs the risk of blood clots. General anesthesia is relatively safe. Anesthesiologists are trained professionals that are present during the procedure. To throw in that "possibility of death" from the anesthesia is a scare tactic. It depends on the person- for some lipo is the better option, for some TT is the better option.
This contest is a real chance to gain some self confidence. Even if I don't get the pleasure of winning this contest I will enter again and again until I do. Without winning I still will continue to post these informative videos, given by an invaluable instructor. Many people out there have low self-esteem and confidence issues. Could be from abuse at some point or other issues. This contest is a life saver.
#6 reason for not getting a tummy tuck is if you may be having another baby. you will need the extra skin left on to stretch out with the growing babies. lipo won't interfere if you want to get pregnant again.

I want to win this contest because my body's been through a lot since I gave birth to my daughter in 2013. It was a very stressful pregnancy where I lost 10 pounds instead of gaining but exactly one month after I had her, I collapsed on my bathroom floor I was in extreme pain. I was rushed to the er where they transported me to another hospital. It turns out that I had gallstones, severe pancreatitis, fluid on one of my lungs and stress on my heart. I would spend the next week in the intensive care unit. All in all I was hospitalized for 18 days, 15 of which were without any food or liquids until they put a catheter to my heart to feed me through an iv. It broke my heart to be without my baby girl. I lost my milk and a lot of my hair. After the whole ordeal, I'd lost another 25 pounds from the hospital...During my recovery to get better and waiting for my pancreas to heal so that they could remove my gall bladder with a lower risk of killing me...I found myself in an abusive relationship with my daughter's father. Months of enduring the abuse has caused me to gain 55 pounds since then. And although I removed my daughter and I out of harms way and was able to end things before he succeeded in killing me, I'm left with the weight from that low point in my life. Now that I've finally found my happy place again, my body doesn't work in the same way anymore and its been very hard to loose the weight. It would mean the world to me to win this contest. With vertical scars it's the adhesions that make it look really bad. As you gain weight the adhesions cause the skin to look deformed an indented. Through liposuction we can create a flatter look by removing fat on either side of the scar. We can also undermine the scar to release the the tissue allowing it to lay more flat. How about exercise is even less risky. If you only need lipo odds are you can get the same results by exercising. Tummy tuck is not meant to do the same job as lipo is supposed to be a last resort for people who are already at their desired weight/ shape and are left with excess skin.

My issue is I delivered HUGE twins (10# 2oz. & 8# 2oz.) and I was 66 inches around at the belly. These procedures are great for some, but not most. It depends on your expectations and what you are looking to achieve. If you have only loose skin and not fat, then maybe it makes sense. You're correct that lipo doesn't remove stretch marks, however, by reducing the volume of fat, it relieves much of the pressure on the stretch mark and they tend to reduce in size. Most people say that their stretch marks diminish in visibility after lipo.
I've had two kids via c section my stomach muscles are fine their actually quite defined and flat but I do have access skin hanging over because they were large babies lol so I've been hearing to get the mommy make over which includes the tummy tuck so which would be better in my case?

Do black women have scars that are darker than white women, that's the no for me. I've seen woman put tatoos around the scar, more expense. Is lipo better with scarring, I'm fair skinned, I don't want dark scars on my tummy.
Black men and women are darker because they have more pigment in their skin, therefore, when they scar, there will inevitably be darker scars than lighter skinned people. However, our scars are hidden well and they are very small. We don't get complaints about the scars.

Scar heals great. Only on narcs for 5 days, drove one week after procedure, went back after two weeks. So glad I did TT and lipo.

Some good info. But what is his his real purpose of putting down tummy tucks, to promote liposuction. Lipo leaves lumps that later can't be fixed.

if you have hernia and/or a big (more than 1,5 inches wide) diastsis recti, the only answer is tommy tuck. That's the sad truth.

My issue is I delivered HUGE twins (10# 2oz. & 8# 2oz.) and I was 66 inches around at the belly. Through a recent surgery, I found out my stomach muscles were herniated and my intestines were the longest my doc had ever seen!! (Yay for stretching and ripping.) I have been left with hanging skin along with some fat. Does the laser mentioned in the video work on other areas besides the stomach (like arms and thighs)? How can I get a price quote on services? These procedures are great for some, but not most. It depends on your expectations and what you are looking to achieve. If you have only loose skin and not fat, then maybe it makes sense. Lopo does not get rid of stretch marks. Some ppl do it because of the stretch marks.
You're correct that lipo doesn't remove stretch marks, however, by reducing the volume of fat, it relieves much of the pressure on the stretch mark and they tend to reduce in size. Most people say that their stretch marks diminish in visibility after lipo.

Yes, everyone who gets general anesthesia takes that medication and most do survive, but Michael didn't unfortunately. Likewise, not every person who takes crack dies, but you probably don't want to be that unlucky one so you don't use crack.

Do black women have scars that are darker than white women, that's the no for me. I've seen woman put tatoos around the scar, more expense. Is lipo better with scarring, I'm fair skinned, I don't want dark scars on my tummy.
Black men and women are darker because they have more pigment in their skin, therefore, when they scar, there will inevitably be darker scars than lighter skinned people. However, our scars are hidden well and they are very small. We don't get complaints about the scars.
