I have seen videos by The Lawn Whisperer on it. Maybe in my next house I would consider something like that. I have the Rachio 3 controller and love it.

Please provide a follow up once the grass germinates and the next steps. Also any pre-emergent or fertilizer to prep for the winter.
I don’t use herbicides in my lawn. But flagship is a good winterizer.
Have you looked into any of the smart sprinkler systems? Like irrigreen or oto?
