This is honestly one of the worst cars to buy. The first time my restricted performance light came on in my 2011 Jag XJL Supercharged w/ less than 40k miles, it shut my car down. I replaced injectors for nearly $2000. That was 2018 I think. After that I’ve had to repair cracked factory rims numerous times ($250 each time), the battery x2 the alternator ($1100), & regular maintenance. The restricted performance light popped on again then popped off last week at around 58k. It drove home fine but I know something’s up. I parked it & I’m in my trustworthy Honda Accord w/ over 250k miles, all original parts except headlights & maybe the battery. The only reason I still have my Jag is because it’s paid for basically. Let this be a lesson, DO NOT BUY THIS CAR. Lease it if you must. I’m a healthcare professional but it’s a total liability for anyone.
Had mines now since November 9th...just started running into that issue a month ago smh same year & model.. getting it checked tomorrow....this is going to be fun
I have the same issue on my 2011 XJL 5.0 Supercharged. I was told it was my catalytic converters, as I just purchased both of them I’m getting them install tomorrow. The car has issues like stalling and jerking from time to time.
@@v12mercedes-benz72 Yeah, no problems yet. I drove it like 300 miles and nothing too serious. Just a little hesitation when accelerating at normal speeds but it’s hardly noticeable. It’s all good now 👌.
@@v12mercedes-benz72 I also had the dealership reprogram the ecu, egr, and the gas pedal sensor. All free of charge, they did me well. I also got a new throttle body a while back just in case I run into any future issues. Gonna get some new maf sensors soon, but there pricey 🤬$$$.
@@zemorewilson7341 That's good, my 5.0NA still showed restricted performance, because fuel pressure too low, but i changed all 3 pump, filter, pressure sensor, still the same. But good for you.
Pointless video says nothing, advises you to contact them. Just wasted 3 minutes of my life that would have been better spent watching the kettle boil.

officially the worst video, not even attempting to explain the 'restricted performance'
Endorsed - a total waste of time
