Giving my buddy Dr Subwoofer a demo of the 4 12"
I upgraded from 4 10"s to 4 12"s

6 cube box tuned to 29hz w/ four 4" aeroports

(2) Sprinter 370's
(1) C&D UPS12-300mr
Big 3 upgrade
MLA module (missinglinkaudio.com)
300 amp Excessive Amperage alternator
Crossfire XS M6 mids
Crossfire C5 tweeters
Crossfire VRA 200.4
Pioneer DEH 9400BH
3 layers of Audio Technix 80 mil on trunk lid

well hes going for an engineering degree so hes at work all day monday - friday until like 3am in the morning studying and doing labs and everything. and works weekends too.

48" sub has cone area of 1809 cu Inches. 4-12s only has 452 cu Inches combined. You would need 16-12s to equal cone area of 1-48" sub. Your friend needs to get his calculator out
