I did some research on shop carts and you can definitely go down the rabbit hole depending on your budget and needs. If I could offer a good starting point: The Harbor Freight Franklin 30x16 composite cart. It wears well, is easy to clean and doesn’t break the bank. You can usually get them with a coupon sub-$100. I think you’d like it.
I'm thinking the US General cart is a likely pick. Couple drawers, open at the top, plenty of room for all my needs. Will check out the Franklin as well!
On our boat trailer we got these rubber covers called gator backs, They help the boat slide a lot better and are more durable than carpet. It’s important that you get them wet before you put the boat on the trailer thought.

An Astro cart or one of them lil two stage carts from hf would do you well! Or you could go all out and get one of the blue point ones 😎
