Definitely agree with you mate I guess that's why they cost the extra $$$ I just bloody love the torque of these amazing machines. So much soul and character
Harley’s fit and finish isn’t that great. You buy a new bike and within months later every nut and bolt is loose, drive belts not adjusted properly I’ve seen a lot .That’s the experience I’ve seen in Australia particularly from some Melbourne dealers but that’s the Harley dealers Who do the initial pre sale delivery not the Motor Company
I have the 114 low rider s, changed the seat & the risers and the triangle fits for me. changed the exhaust too because it was too quiet, can't hear anything over the wind! cheers bro keep it up regards from Malaysia!
Once you put taller risers or pullback risers and a lepera/saddlemen seat and better flat pegs it feels much better Those seats lift you up a bit too which helps the bent knees a bit Im 6ft1-2 and i prefer the mids to be on top and hoon on the bike in control Also most of us put a highway crash bar on the front and you slip some cheapo bmx grips over the end and you can stretch out your legs and rest them on there on the highway, once you piss off that intake for a slimmer one ofcourse Thats what they are for Ideally youd have a “cruiser” and this😂 im trying to palm off my tourer to go back to one of these for the fun factor They are fast as hell especially when you cam them you cant beat a stripped down bike Ofcourse the pegs are high but it allows you to lean in alot and the lighter bike pulls hard as you would have noticed Awesome bike especially for the price Basically a modern dyna
half the cost here in the USA, should not have all that mark up. I like the chrome and don't care for the blacked out look. The blacking out is in the cars and trucks so I'm sick of it, love the 2025 H-D Street Bob its chrome on the engine is nice. Hope you have good weather for more rides
That's wild... it's a shame we get such a mark up here 🤔 I'm keen as to see the 2025 models when they come even the low rider S in chrome will look sick ! Thanks mate, ride safe
Hey mate awesome content, been following you for a while now, I own a LowRider ST & a 2012 Wide glide, with the ST, I’m 6 foot & I definitely had to change to forward controls & put 9 1/2 inch Risers & change the seat.that’s it, The ST is a very good handling bike though , for myself I’m lucky to be able to feel a modern bike & then ride an old school Dyna chopper to really enjoy why Harleys are what they are, bloody awesome bikes.
Thanks mate, ahh okay that's good to hear some feedback I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought that haha. Yeah that's true mate to really appreciate it. Even going from my twin cam to the new bikes feel so damn different 😅 thanks for watching 🤙
Love my ST Matt. Was a toss up with the S but love the ability to remove bags for a different look if needed. These bike ride great and throw a cam in and they rip. Another great review mate.
That's awesome mate, as you heard I'd definitely go that same way. Fairing is awesome and removing the bags like you said is cool if you want to. Thanks mate I appreciate it
Hello Matt! Another excellent video on a very popular Harley Davidson! I got a kick out of your "sitting on a toilet" comment! I was at my Harley dealership today. I picked out a 2024 Road Glide. Going for a test ride and work out the payments. Harley dealers are always trying to get the most money out of their customers. I'm not falling for that crap this time. I already told them I don't really need another new motorcycle. It's funny watching them come up with all these offers and I get to say nope. Keep making these awesome videos and I'll be waiting for the reviews on the 2025's! John...
Hey John, thanks mate I did really enjoy riding this bike was alot of fun. Hahaha well that's the best way I could put it 🤣 Haha true mate well the 25 RG is no different from a 24 so if you can get a good deal on a run out model go for it ! Cheers mate I'm patiently waiting for the 2025s. Thanks for watching 🤙
Great Vlog, loved the review. Mates got one & really like it. He is a short arse. Does have forward controls. Nice light bike, easy to flick around. Yeah I like it. Keep up the great work!
Cheers mate, I appreciate it. Everyone who has one seems to bloody love them hey ! Good to know even the short asses went with forward controls lol. Thanks for watching 🤙
Thanks mate I really appreciate that 🙏 more trips away coming soon, the rain needs to bugger off but I can't always wait for good weather. Thanks for watching 🤙
Hi Matt, another good honest review I cracked out laughing when you said you felt like you were sitting on the toilet. I thought something similar when I sat on one at a dealership recently you’d have to spend a few bucks on it to make it comfortable if they ever get one any time soon I’d like to see your thoughts on 25 Heritage . on another note, just wondering if your T-shirts are gonna become available soon.
Cheers Greg, hahaha it's the best way I could put it mate 😅 yeah that's it definitely gotta change a few things. I'm keen as to do that review when they come in I'll be jumping straight on it. Hopefully soon I don't have a date just waiting on the site to be done. I'll let everyone know as soon as it's launched I promise ! Thanks for the support
Bought my low rider s in November can't wait to get out on it UK weather is shit just know .great reviews this is my first Harley coming from sports bikes so iv been setting it up to suit me it now feels so nice . Was wondering if you could test the soft tail heritage next mate I love the look and the fact you can strip everything off to look great naked .
Ahhh I bet... I've heard it's always raining there is that true ? Thanks mate I appreciate that. Yeah I'm keen as to do the heritage I'm just waiting for a demo to come along. I missed it last time when I was away it sold fast haha. Thanks for watching 🤙
@Gnarly_Harley awesome yep it rains a lot but we do have some nice days too well in the summer anyway our winters are rough and the roads get covered in salt so I keep my bikes tucked away . Look forward to the future content bro .
3:59. Is that the quickest 0-100 so far? I would say the light weight with the 117 works in its favour. I went past the dealership yesterday on my way to have lunch with my ex-wife's aunty. Now stuck at Belyando Crossing with the floods. Loaded with grog, dunny paper & food for Cairns Happy trails, Cowpoke
Honestly I think it is, I did push it harder as you seen and also even doubted myself and had to go check what other people got when I seen the time 🤣 but it was about on the money some other bloke got a 3.7 aswell. Oh wow holy cow mate that's wild, you be safe up that way. And thanks for watching 🤙
Nice vid mate .. I prefer my thicker bars with risers, being tall like yourself, makes the bars feel better and add forward controls.. I prefer a darker paint job, but could live with that. Nice catching up with ya ..
Cheers mate, yeah definitely agree with you mate would help alot. The paint isn't as nice as your fatbobs 😉 love them sparkles mate. Thanks for coming to say G'day 🤙
Another great review mate. I own one of these and absolutely love it. I’m around 175cm and the mids are great for me, especially when you get into the twisties where this thing really shines. I put ST bags on so I can do some miles. Maybe I’ll head up your way at some point!
Cheers mate, that's awesome mate thanks for the feedback it's good to hear it works for some people. They bloody rip don't they, I absolutely loved riding the ST when it was dry roads haha. Wicked, ride safe man and thanks for watching 🤙
Another great review. Note that I had a Dyna Fat Bob 2013 and when I purchased my 2021 Lowrider S I too wanted forwards. So I did that to it. Also I then put a forward kit from a Breakout which gained me more. The seat is terrible for longer rides so I just put a Saddleman StepUp Tuck and Roll on it and that changed things. Did a 400km ride last weekend and it stood the test. Mad bike. Love the bikini fairing. It does stop some wind which amazes me. Keep up the good work.
Oh awesome, thanks for the feedback I think alot of people will find this helpful I'm glad I wasn't the only one that didn't like the seat and controls. Sounds like the perfect setup now 😁 ahh that's cool thanks for watching 🤙
@ I get the stock setup. I really do - it’s traditional for the Lowriders and the history. The Dyna stunts etc. I enjoy my traditional twin instruments on the tank as well. I miss my Dyna at times but I just jump on the Lowrider S and that goes away. The handling is awesome and can save you if you f up to a degree. It’s got 15k on it now and I do love it. Doing a 4 day trip to Qld and back shortly and it is going to be insane. Up the Pac and back the New England. That will test it. Setup is great now.
Cheers mate, really appreciate the support. That's it hey has so many options even to add a memphis shades fairing if you wanted to. Definitely a good base to work off. Thanks for watching 🤙
Always love ya vids mate..... the mid pegs allowed you to stretch your legs out which brings me to a bike you've mentioned before, and quite a few of us would like to see you review... drumroll.... lol😂... Harley Pan America.... Looking forward 2 tha next one mate. J
Cheers mate I appreciate that ! Yeah that's definitely the only bonus of these pegs haha. Definitely prefer forwards on this though. Haha come on man you'd know I've reviewed it then if you love my vids so much ! 😉🤣 bit of a shame about the colour pan they gave me though LOL I also got to take it to the bunys mountains it was fun as. Thanks mate I appreciate all the support 🙏
These are an incredible platform! A decent seat like a Sundowner, forward controls, rear pegs and an exhaust and you are set! Even just a set of mufflers would do. I still like a ST better though! Can’t wait for you to review a 2025 ST!!
100% agree with you bro. The ST I tested had pipes and it sounded great. I thought you'd prefer the ST aswell haha. Dude I'm keen as !!!!! Just gotta wait who knows how long for them to come in. Thanks for watching 🤙
Great review! I have subscribed and liked. I have always wanted a Harley and now that I am in my late 50's I have aged into one I think. I am looking at the soft tails, while I love the Fat Boy and Breakout, they look amazing, the low rider s is the strongest contender at the moment. How tall are ya bro?
Cheers mate I appreciate the support, yeah I totally agree with you on that decision as I came off spoties / adventures aswell I went for something with the best lean angle I could get haha. That's a great way to put it !!!! And in one of my vlogs I talk more about why I got a harley at my age it's a good watch if you wanted to check that out. I'm 6"3 mate so forwards are a must and I'd say bars too for you but give it a test ride and see. Thanks for watching 🤙
@@Gnarly_Harley Thanks for the prompt reply mate. Much appreciated. Busting a gut waiting for my savings to add up so I can purchase mid winter. Will defo be test riding the soft tails before purchasing.
Yeah that's totally understandable, I've ridden an ST with forwards and different bars and I loved it. Still not as comfortable as a big RG though. Thanks for watching 🤙
I purchased a 23 model with traction control in white sand pearl. I personally prefer the breakout in the looks department. Going to get a bucket for the light and remove the front fairing. It’s a beast on the road, very comfortable, even with the standard seat.
Oh for sure the breakout looks the best out of the whole harley range in my opinion too. Love the white pearl mate they look so good. Oh awesome she'll look great. Thanks for watching 🤙
@ cheers mate. Yeah, great bike. Installed a 5 1/2 inch riser with 1 inch pull back which made a big difference. The ST was too top heavy for me and didn’t feel as dynamic as the S. Have a stage 1 with Freedom exhaust, the most I’ll do is a stage 2, cam will wake it up a lot. Great all round bike. Sounds and looks the goods with the right upgrades. Ride safe mate.
I found this better for power bit I was more comfortable on the fatbob. I'd personally get the ST over both then set it up for my tall ass haha. but that's just me. Hope that helps 😅
The mighty low rider S, though im still in love with the Dyna Lower rider S. 2017 model with the 117 twin cam upgrade hard to find worth as much as brand new. And looks better just doesn’t do it for me in the M8 softail platform but the M8 117 engine is sweet!!
I bought mine last December for $26899 ride away in NSW and it’s Black! Added a few little extras, changed the seat to a gel based Saddlemen version and got a wild stage 2 upgrade, Redshift 528, check out my shorts for pre/post sounds! Love this bike!
Man if I could of afford one I would of jumped on it. They are so sick ! I swear I seen a dealer in Adelaide or something had 2 recently 🤨 I could be wrong haha.
@Gnarly_Harley I tried to get one when they first released coz the price was 38k which I thought for all the extras pretty good price then all of a sudden dealers had them well in the 40s. Even now 3 years old asking 40s the 2025 lowrider st way better value.
Looks like it'd be ideal for a 5'6 short ass such as myself 😂😂 This is what I was looking at against the Indian Sport Chief. First things first though, change that exhaust, I like to be heard before I'm seen. 😂
Haha with the controls definitely but you'd 100% need some push back bars or something. I promise I'll still get around to the sport chief 😅 true that !!! Pipes are a must. Thanks for watching 🤙
@Gnarly_Harley Food for thought! Haha, it's all good I've got a while before I can do anything about it anyways. Gonna be hard to ride soon with what will feel like a bowling ball strapped to the front of me 😂😂 Good review though, looks mint. Keen for next week 🤙
@ballaratevil6048 ahhh okay. I put time stamps all over the video so people can click to whichever parts they want to. Easy as to fast forward aswell mate
Spent the day at Dealers looking at bikes, coming a from Japanese bikes, in my opinion Harleys have the FINEST fit and finish out of ANY brand
Definitely agree with you mate I guess that's why they cost the extra $$$ I just bloody love the torque of these amazing machines. So much soul and character

Im 6ft1-2 and i prefer the mids to be on top and hoon on the bike in control
Also most of us put a highway crash bar on the front and you slip some cheapo bmx grips over the end and you can stretch out your legs and rest them on there on the highway, once you piss off that intake for a slimmer one ofcourse
Thats what they are for
Ideally youd have a “cruiser” and this😂 im trying to palm off my tourer to go back to one of these for the fun factor
They are fast as hell especially when you cam them you cant beat a stripped down bike
Ofcourse the pegs are high but it allows you to lean in alot and the lighter bike pulls hard as you would have noticed
Awesome bike especially for the price

Only thing I wish they would have done is do black wheels. Or Chrome even. I dislike the bronze.
Probably like this year's model then ! 😁
@@Gnarly_Harley I bought a 2023. I should have waited!

@LilWixxy yeah that's just bloody nutts man !
@Gnarly_Harley i wanna buy a new st just coz of the even bags 🤣🤣 I mite have a ocd problem.
Gonna be hard to ride soon with what will feel like a bowling ball strapped to the front of me 😂😂
Good review though, looks mint. Keen for next week 🤙
First again all over it
Haha you're a weapon bro 🤙
Pull a wheelie. You guys say mono.
Haha we still call the wheelies ! Usually a mono is on a push bike lol thanks for watching
@@Gnarly_Harley I guess the only one I've heard call it mono is the Bogan. Captain Bogan now I guess.
long intro so I left
All good man, thanks for stopping by. It's to show off the bike 😁
@@Gnarly_Harley you said you were going to get right into it and I was waiting
