This video saved the day! My daughter was on a 13-hr car trip by herself and her new F-150 screen went blank. No maps, music was a no go and she was calling me very upset. I googled this issue and watched this video. I called my daughter and told her to do exactly what this video said to do. Worked like a charm!!!! 🙌She was so happy and the stress just went away! I can't thank you enough for this helpful video. Very much appreciated!!!!

I hate trying to watch a vid and they have their "cool" music going and it's 10 mins of blah blah blah blah blah before they even get to the explanation. I've got to the point that I don't even give them a chance.
We just experienced the black screen, but we could hear the radio. Your video was straight to the point and it immediately worked.

@JFernandoTrrs it does work but mine still keeps going black! We have to reset it multiple times a day..depending on how many times we go somewhere it's definitely annoying!

Flawless, perfect hack! I was driving around the complicated and complex LAX loop without a screen pulling my hair out! Pulled over, googled this video and in less than 20 seconds, back on the road with a refreshed screen! Thanks! 😅
My console USB ports didn't work and the radio didn't work. The reset fixed everything. Thank you so much. You are a good person.

Worked on my 2018 F150. My screen wasn't totally black or frozen. My Map portion and my connected Phone were stuck at a loading animation so I had no control over those two things. But, using this method got me back to a working state. Thanks!

Thank you.... Had this happen just now to my 2019 F150 with Sync3.... Been noticing the satellite radio would reset to SID screen and my preset pages would revert back to 2 instead of 5 every time I would get in to drive somewhere.... Your solution brought the screen back up and I promptly connected to my home network to download the latest update file....

No freakin way !!! 😳 I have a 2020 F150 supercrew 2.7 twin turbo and the same thing happened to me! & I thought the same “omg now what!?🤦🏻♂️” …. my screen went “black” and my audio turned off … & when I had a chance to pull over, I utubed this issue and this video popped up & dude! DUDE! 😛😳🤣🤣 IT WORKED 🤣🤗 just like “Stage3motorsports” said to do 🙂 in less then seconds that it took to view the video it worked just like that ! Nice 👍 👍

The biggest take away is this; we are having to basically a computer reset for the radio on vehicles costing 50, 60 or yikes a 100k SD.
