Started in the middle of the song, played part of the end, then played the beginning , maybe there was a time limit since it's a 8 min song... still impressive and glad he won!
we miss so much those guys.. Dimebag and Cliff.. they're making fun of us from up there .. and we still miss them so much .. .thanks for playing that song Dude
Wow Jason from one guitar player to another I’ve gotta give you your props I mean you nailed it and I wish you the best of luck with the school of rock in the summer and I when you form your own band and you go on your tour I hope to see you in concert but until then rock on Jason rock on.
What’s Jason doing nowadays? I hope he was able to accomplish (at least some of his) goals with a guitar as his means of making money…does anyone know?
Oh my gosh that kid is amazing at guitar. Spot on with the song. I am learning to play guitar and so far I know how to play a little bit of Seek and Destroy but I hope to be as good as him!
you should have add a little more of your " style " like repeating notes faster sometimes and going a little further in your techniques. but still, it's impressive for a 3 years guitarist.
you are so lucky to be able to play a song over 3 minutes. my school thinks anything over 3 minutes is gonna 'anger' the students, which is not that false because everyone in my school is an asshole
Congrats on your performance. Great work. Will be in PB in a couple months. We should play. Would like to run a few song ideas by you for some lead. Anyway. Grind On my fine fingered friend.
This dude lives near me i think, she said pine bluff right? And he is my age (14), too bad I'm the guitarist in my band. I need a bassist though... hint hint. Seriously i need a bassist that can play Metallica, Pantera, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. Just an offer, if you do in fact live in the Arkansas area like i do. Message me. Later, \m/.

This was pretty good for how old he was, but I think he could do better. I hope he continued to practice and has learned to slow down and make notes sound clear and also to get a better sense of the rhythm (for the solo).
If he wasn't he would have be disqualified. Besides, if you watch older videos on our channel they go back to when he started at the age of 10. You can watch his guitar playing grow over the years. Nothing fake here, just a very talented kid. Thanks for sharing our video.
And half of the people there did not know what he was playing. Rock on kid.
Hue Mungus what was awesome were the people that did know what he was playing!
I'd say probably 99%
Kid, you got it. Keep it up. The world needs more metal.

I would totally play the bass part with him
Boby Darko The bass part for this song is so fun. Two bass solos with one being so badass people mistake it for a guitar solo.
I'm just saying this right now. I won't be surprised if I see him famous. Literally, that is some serious talent. Bravo. Bravo to you.

Did he just Chop the song in Half and play it backwards Lol? anyway good playing, Cliff would be proud.
JokuRandomPoju we moved it around a little to get in all the parts he wanted. Had to be under 5min or he would've just played the whole song.
